Fast forward another mile, I am pulled over calling roadside service because my car is now making a bizarre sound and shifting weird. I sort out everything with RA and they text me that Statewide is coming to get me and drop my car off at the dealer (yes, the one my dumb arse passed earlier). He showed up within 20 minutes, packed it up like a champ, had a lively conversation in the cab (again, saving me from a total tear fest - who needs car trouble), dropped it in the dealership parking lot like a champ (no scrapes, scratches, damage, just parked neatly like it never happened), and waited for me to fill out my key drop ticket.
