They have a fantastic beer selection (I am from Washington state, so I do not say this lightly). They also have a decent selection of cigars which they price decently. They keep their humidor up as well, so your stick is ready to smoke right away! There is a certain manager there that orders the cigars, beer and liquor. He tries to get anything I ask for. He is genuinely friendly. And all the gals working the register are sweeties! They are always fun, usually smiling and often flirtatious. On top of that, the have the best produce in town. Their prices are higher than WalMart, but that is to be expected. This is my grocery store of choice for the Morgan City area!

Its packaged so only one can be viewed fully from the top and it looked like a porterhouse cut. After I un-packaged them the other 2 per pack were not nice at all. Basically just the strip portion with a bone and a very lackluster piece of the filet. One of the 3 was cut very unevenly and will basically have to cook that one like stew meat in an onion gravy. For the price not a bad deal I guess but keep in mind the other 2 look nowhere close to the one that's fully viewable.

Well that alone got me to make a u-turn and find a parking space to check them out even though I didn't really need anything. Well it doesn't seem to be much of an attraction to the folks here in Morgan City, Louisiana, the store was mostly empty and those here appeared to have stopped in to pick up a few items not to grocery shop, all the checkout lanes were empty and the employees here were just hanging out. I did see a few interesting things that I would never see on the shelves in Florida especially in the meat case, besides the normal Cajun delicacies I did see a whole pig's head which I guess isn't all that unusual if you're making some hog head cheese which has nothing to do with dairy if you're not from around these parts. It was a fairly interesting walk through, the air conditioning was working good so it was nice to get out of the humidity for a few minutes. I had no interaction with any of the staff although I walked passed a few of them, it seemed they were as anxious to get out of here as I was. This is not a place I would be compelled to return to but glad I stopped in, now I know...

I had a mechanic look at the vehicle to make sure it wasn't the jeep. He said everything looked fine it was the tires were bad. I brought the jeep back to that walmart and had them rebalance them. It was no better. I bought Toyo A/T tires from a different tire store and all the shaking went away. I started the return and refund online and went back to the store to get the refund. The automotive department person said if you drove over 100 miles they won't take them back. How do you know if the tires are bad without driving on them? Then they sent me to the service desk to talk to another person who told me they can't refund the tires because I bought them on walmart.com. I would have to get a refund thru them. So I called them. The help tech redid the refund she said I did right and sent me to the service desk to get my refund. Again I was told no. They sent me back to the automotive dept. The employee there came back to me with a unofficial white paper word document that says any tires not installed can be refunded in 90 days. She said see we don't refund or return tires once they are put on the rim even by us. I said even if they are defective? She said yes. But it didn't say that. According the the official walmart policy they do take back tires but any refund is pro rated determined by tread depth that they measure. I know. I have the papers that were given to me when I had them installed. The employee was rude. The online help techs didn't understand why the store kept refusing the refund. Online help is absolutley impotent when it comes to getting this remedied. If the store says no ..... you are s.o.l. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone looking to buy tires shop somewhere else. I can't speak to all walmarts. But I can to this disappointment of an automotive department.
