I would just like to inform the staff at Caravan of how unhappy and unsatisfied I was with not only with the service but also the level of care that was taken with my personal credit file. Being that I have entrusted my financial future to the hands of a company that I was highly unhappy with, needless to say I was very disappointed and angry. I had a charge off and two other accounts that were settled on my credit file and was told "oh don't worry about it we will remove everything we do it all the time" however this was not the case because I was constantly receiving letters from all three credit agencies stating that nothing was going to be change on my file. I then spoke with Caravan and all of the sudden their story changed to reflect that oh no well sometimes stuff just can't be removed from your file. I even had to go to the lengths of removing incorrect collection agency accounts on my credit file myself!! They did absolutely no work on my file but still wanted me to pay them for services.

The rep (Renee) repeatedly reassured me they would not dispute anything and would only help resolve the account, saying it could be handled for $1,500. I told her I was driving, in a rush, and couldn't review documents. She said they were only for verification, so I trusted her and agreed. Within 3 business days, I called back for confirmation and was told I had been enrolled in a credit repair program instead. Jose, a very rude account manager, refused to help with my debt and denied refunding the $698 I paid, claiming services were provided--which is false.

I only had one thing in my collections, and they tried to convince me that letters of dispute had been sent and that they were still awaiting results. FOUR MONTHS LATER, it's sad and unfortunate to say, but NOT a single item was removed from my credit report. And we had had were, they would been told not to refundbe your money! The customer service wasn't excellent either. You eventually realize that the item from the beginning was not being challenged correctly. Then you get excuses on excuses. "All phone calls are recorded, but they wouldn't go back to the call of the original customer service rep stating the 90-day guarantee." How convenient!!!!
