August 26, 2013 So I dropped off my bridesmaid dress exactly a week ago in the 19th and I just picked it up an hour ago and guess what....okay okay from my rating you should know already that I am extremely PLEASED with the results! Yes! My boobs no longer pop out to say hello when I raise my arms! The dress fit beautifully! For $35 flat, I believe it was worth it, though I still do find it a bit on the pricy side. This is the first time I have ever gotten my dress, or any clothing, altered before. So, this is my first experience and I am left with a happy smile in the end. Cranky and doesn't communicate or negotiate well, especially with a neighboring business that sends them clients. I took my suit for alterations. The jacket needed the sleeves shortened Maybe an inch. And the slacks needed hemming. I presented the seamstress a business card from the neighboring tuxedo shop, requesting the best price possible. She basically waved me off (not cool). After taking my measurements she presented me with the charges. Nearly half of what the suit cost. I asked about the discount request on the card. She flatly said that's the price. So, I called the tuxedo shop and asked if they would talk to her. She was very rude. (I should have walked out then). So, I could only afford to have the slacks hemmed. So, kudos to the tuxedo shop for trying. Unless you're desperate (like I was) avoid this place! read more

Just got ripped off at this place. Put my money on the counter to pay, then she distracted me and took the money off the counter. Then said "you need to pay me". Told her I did. Unfortunately, my experience here was not great. The woman who assisted me was extremely cranky and came across as very angry toward her clients. Customer service should make people feel welcome, but instead the interaction felt uncomfortable and tense. read more

Okay... so I haven't been an active yelper in sometime now, but this experience really warrants a review. So my dryer's been destroying my clothes and anything spaghetti type straps would rip after tumbling to dry. That being said, I would love to just toss out these dages, but not having worn them to my satisfaction and these happen to not be f21 disposable clothing, I needed to get them fixed. I started with my usual place, but came just minutes after they closed, so I remembered the mall having an alteration store. When I got there, the lady seem nice an all and was helpful in explaining what she can do and recommend. It seems simple enough..... Flash forward to today when I picked up my clothes... note to everyone, please check all alterations right then and there.... as for me, I was the idiot that didn't do that cause I assumed she did a good job. Well lo and behold to my dismay this is what I paid for.....an incomplete stitch for top. Seriously? I might as well do it myself. I really wanted to like this place, but for the amount I paid for this was waaaayyyy overpriced. $10 for this craftmanship. Smh. read more

I'm surprised this place is still in business because it definitely is not what it used to be. I used to have them alter all my suits, jeans, and dresses at a very decent price. But when I recently stepped into the shop, it was a different vibe possibly due to new ownership because I didn't recognize the lady and she didn't speak English that much...big time language barrier! Anyway, I had 1 blouse that needed to be sewn, 3 pairs of jeans, and 3 summer dresses that needed hemming, the lady was charging me up the a-hole! I used to pay $7 - $8 each for the hem on my jeans and she was quoting me double the price! As for the dresses, $25 a piece!!!! I was so pissed that I didn't even want to ask her about my blouse! RIP OFF... I have been a loyal customer for about 20 years supporting this business. I have taken all my clothes here for alterations, from basic hems and taking in dresses but have noticed the seamstress keeps raising her prices and seems to take advantage of any opportunity whenever possible. This place is overpriced and continues to increase besides the unpleasant customer service. I have spent a fortune here but will now take my business elsewhere. read more

Wow. Saw all the other reviews and I'm not surprised. Picked up a suit coat yesterday from tailor all bagged up. Got dressed today for an important business dinner, put the coat on and the tailors pins still in the sleeves. Took pins out thinking they were left over. Then realized sleeve alterations weren't done. Rushed back to tailor, getting late for my dinner. Tell tailor the problem. She tells me it's my fault for not checking the coat when I picked it up. She didn't check it either when she gave it to me. I prepaid and she's also claiming it might not be the same coat. I accuse her of saying I'm a liar. I demand my money back or she does the work NOW pronto. She starts the work continuing to blame me. Now I'm really pissed. I tell her to "shut up" and get it done. She keeps working on the sleeves constantly muttering. No sense of customer service. Never offered an apology. read more

I visited this place a few times before they moved within the mall but always had a great experience with them. My last visit over the weekend, I was in a rush to get my suit altered for a wedding. Has anyone had issues using the chip on their card here? My chip wouldn't work so I had to manually enter it. I'm so disappointed with this tailor! I have been a customer for at least 4 to 5 years (really cant remember). I've been loyal and kept coming for alterations on pants and dresses. I even went to her house when they were remodeling her shop area in the mall. Recently though, she has increased her prices on me tremendously! A few weeks ago I went in and she quoted me $90.00 for two dresses to be hemmed! They were a bit more wide at the base but it did not warrant such a high price. I decided not to get them hemmed there and went somewhere else and they did both dresses for 25.00! Today I went in again and the dress was not anything out of the ordinary and I was quoted 25.00. She is a great seamstress but these prices have lost her a great and loyal customer! read more
