Took the bus from Seattle to Vancouver for ~$35. Departure from Best Western Executive Inn was on time. There wasn't any Wi-Fi on the bus as stated but the drive to Vancouver was pretty nice that it didn't bother me but I also my phone had 4G. The arrival time into Downtown Vancouver was a little late due to the traffic in that area. Also it depends on which hotels the drivers need to stop at while in Downtown Vancouver. Overall, the ride was smooth. Bus was well-kept and pretty much each person had 2 seats to themselves (not because he or she was actually that big...). Crossing the border wasn't too big of a hassle. Really just had to stand in line with your passport, and they let you cross. Definitely would utilize this method again if traveling from Seattle to Vancouver or vice versa. Quick Coach, a Canadian company, is the fastest public ground transport between Seattle-Tacoma airport and Vancouver. The journey takes about 3 hours and is approximately $50 to $60 one way. A lot of people think that it is cheaper to fly in to Seattle and then take the bus to Vancouver as opposed to flying directly to Vancouver from wherever they are in the U.S. Because a roundtrip bus ticket is about US$100, it actually is not that much cheaper and it takes a lot longer. Don't forget that to cross the border there can be a long wait because of traffic, although buses and vans do have their own lines. Still, the bus does not continue on its journey until everyone has passed immigration, so the wait can be long. Disregarding this factor, Quick Coach is quite reliable. It also offers wi-fi on board although the connection is a little slow but good enough for email and some simple web browsing. read more

I had a surprisingly comfortable and (not so surprising) quick trip from Vancouver to SEATAC on Quick Coach. Pickup was on time, there was free WiFi, and the driver was friendly. I have mixed feelings about Quick Coach. They are easy enough to catch from the convention center (It's on Pike slightly north of 8th, though the signage does not currently mention charter service) They provide a schedule on their website and have verbiage about reliable transportation between airports. 3h 20m is the amount of time scheduled from downtown Seattle to connect to the airport in Vancouver. (For reference, Amtrak schedules 3h 30m for buses, so this isn't that crazy) I figured that an hour and a half extra time for that would be sufficient for me, but at least when I rode it, it took 5h 20m to actually make the trip. Some of this was caused by folks trying to get on the shuttle when they hadn't actually reserved it, which tacked on 40m to the ride. Another part was that while the border crossing was reasonably fast, it took over 30m to clear it. (They have to entirely unload it and reload everyone) Traffic on I-5 was bad. I think that it's perfectly fine to get to Vancouver if your schedule isn't super tight, but it's not unreasonable to tack on a few extra hours to account for traffic. If you want to use this to catch a flight, it's probably best to go as early as possible and then head to the airport on the Canada line. On the other hand, the driver was friendly and helpful. The bus was clean, though all the seats were sold on my bus. Although they did run out of toilet paper, there were a number of stops at places with real restrooms, so it wasn't actually a problem. Would I ride it again? Yeah, probably if I had enough margin or was going straight to downtown Vancouver. On the other hand, train service is pretty consistent time-wise, so if it's a busy time of day, it might be best to take the train if you need to be somewhere. read more

Took a roundtrip from Seattle/Vancouver for $52 with my daughter. Loved the ability to pre-schedule a hotel drop off & pickup. Tourbus with comfortable, padded seats & large windows. Both buses were clean, air conditioned & good working WiFi, one overhead USB plug per person. Both times departures were right on time. Trip up was seamless, Canadian customs moved well. Trip back was "luck of the draw" major accident on highway to border made us lose an hour. Border crossing with US customs moved slow. After crossing the border traffic was light & driver made very good time. Both times the drivers were gems, very professional & good with everyone. Major snafu on my part Quick Shuttle took care of: I booked return looking at the 'daily departures' column for 6:10. There was no am/pm. If I had scanned other columns I would have seen it was a 24hr clock. So 6:10am hotel woke me up to say bus had left... Called Quick Shuttle when they opened at 8:30am & rescheduled us for a (15:30) 3:30pm departure at no extra cost, was so relieved it was handled so easily. Overall: full marks. Looking forward to another Vancouver trip & taking Quick Shuttle. read more

We used Quickbus to and from Vancouver, May 2014. The bus service is quite comfortable, however pickup arrangements leave a lot to be desired. a number of passengers were left stranded at Ballantyne pier Vancouver for over 2 hours. No apologies from the company only arguments about the arrangements. Also, their 2014 summer schedule was not available until April 2014. WE took Quick Coach between downtown Seattle and the Vancouver Cruise Ship terminal. WHAT A MISTAKE. No wi-fi. Very uncomfortable seats. And a driver who kept slipping out to smoke. My wife works for a non profit organization that had buses scheduled for a 0130 pickup to take kids to Vancouver, to catch a ferry, to go to camp......Yea they didn't show up!! After a lot of scrambling the organization helpers got the kids into vans and took them themselves. Kids are going to have to catch a later ferry to get to their destination. Hopefully they make it. Had very courteous and professional drivers both to Seattle and back, but what I must really praise about Quick Shuttle is their flexibility. On two separate occasions on the same trip, I had to miss a bus because of emergency and circumstances unforseen- The attendant at the call center allowed me to reschedule both times to the very next bus without the hassle of renewing the reservation or buying new tickets. read more
