The employees were so kind and warm. The whole space has amazing character. Cozy couches, plenty of seating, natural light, plants, wood floors, and a really welcoming vibe. It feels like the kind of place you could comfortably work for hours or meet up with a friend. Great atmosphere for a weekend reset. During the summer they are closed Monday and Tuesday's. We had the chicken and beef empanadas and the pasta de nata which are delicious, fresh and amazingly light. They have a lot of pastries to choose from. Coffee is good and freshly brewed. The interior is clean and cozy. We took advantage of the nice weather and sat at one of the tables outside. The French Toast latte was yummy even though they ran out of whipped cream. The carrot cake scone was pretty good, but they are refrigerated, so maybe ask for it to be heated up a bit to take the chill out. Hubby said the cappuccino was ok. I think what troubled me was the employee's indifference to our being there. We wiped down our own table because they all needed a cleaning. Then they said they needed to replace the napkins, they did but couldn't be bothered with bring us a couple. We opted not to get the chorizo on the sandwich and the gentleman working gave us other options, which was so nice. Some places just say ok if you don't want something and don't give options so this was a pleasant surprise. Both guys working at the counter were pleasant and seemed to enjoy working here. They were nice to interact with and they worked well together. The iced coffee is amazing and the golden milk latte is craveable. It was perfect as is without any additional of sugar, etc. The sandwiches were absolutely delish! We can't wait to go back and would definitely recommend this cafe.
