Very quick and efficient service for a pre-employment screening I had to take. Respectful and considerate, overall 10/10 I was in and out.

I was referred to this particular Quest Diagnostics because I visited the ID Care office, which happens to be in the same suite. They recently renovated this office and it was the *nicest* Quest Diagnostics I've ever been too. Clean, efficient, and convenient - and honestly, you can't beat that! Upon walking in, you come to a waiting room with a few machines to 'check in.' You can make an appointment but you can also walk in, like me. All you do is scan your insurance and ID at the kiosks and the computer does the rest! Being that there were about 10 other people there, I waited about a half hour, but I didn't think that was long considering the amount of people there and I was a walk in! The TV screen in the waiting tells you approximately how long you are going to wait, in addition to what number you are in line. The lab associate that took my blood work was kind and efficient, as well. I needed around 15 samples drawn and she took the time to ensure everything was correct and accurate. One of the samples could not be taken because of the time, so she me directed how to proceed. Overall, you can't ask for a better experience when getting blood drawn! read more

Never provided all the test results that were ordered, when they gave one test result they provided no comment on status of the others, they never completed the tests, while repeatedly sending me survey emails because "they care about me," but they never replied to my email test result status inquiries. Finally, the Doctor that ordered the tests sent me a new prescription. Had to go again, different place. Absolutely terrible service. Quests reply here is sorry "if" that was my experience. Not if. I did my appointment and signed in electronically experienced a short wait time and me and my partner were seen quickly. The doctor was a asian man and he swiftly took my blood in one try painlessly and i was done! Would definitely recommend this place for appointments already scheduled online but the lady at the front desk was a little extra. read more

The courier for my dad's blood work never showed up. Then called at 11:30 to say they weren't coming. I had to rush to get the specimen to the lab. The phlebotomist must hate her job. Very rudely told me to sign in and sit. I told her I was there to drop off a sample. She didn't need to prick me with a needle or do paperwork. Again, very rude. I waited20 minutes after closing until the gentleman working with her asked if she did the paperwork. She didn't. After she came out, all she did was verify his address and DOB and took the sample from me. Less than a minute. Chick must hate her job and people. It's funny how they move quicker when they want to go home. I was the last person in there. How unprofessional! From the courier not showing, the nurse visits twice per month, and all I needed to do was drop off. Glad my insurance pays for Lab Corp! read more

My husband and I went to this lab two years ago for our routine blood work and didn't have any problems. The wait time was about 15 minutes, insurance and other paperwork was quick and painless. The phlebotomist was friendly, talkative, and experienced. Recently, the pediatrician recommended my one-year old get her first routine blood draw and I freaked out after seeing the reviews online. But all the stress was for nothing. Wait time was about 5 minutes (just us and another patient on a Thursday morning), paperwork was all done by the phlebotomist, Anne-Margerite, quick and simple. She was calm and kind, and explained exactly what needed to be done, "Okay, one parent is going to hug her really tight and the other is going to hold her arm really straight and the goal is to get it the very first time". She inserted the needle in one try, and completed the task in under a minute. My little one didn't even cry. I'm very happy about how my whole experience went and will return in the future. Additional info: The lab is located in an office building on the second floor. They have an elevator and large parking lot. The waiting room was a good size and clean. Appointments were made online with plenty of available slots. read more

Horrible wait! When I went there I saw my name on the screen that said 28 minute wait. 86 minutes later, with maybe a dozen people in the waiting room, I finally got called, but only after I got up to inquire what the hold up was. Go to LabCorp. They're system to check people in and get them moving seems to work better. read more

I came to this lab on a good day. The office was pretty empty. My 17 year old son needed blood work. We waited approximately 15 minutes which is excellent for this place. I stayed in the waiting area when they called him. Two minutes later he calls me to come in because the lady getting his insurance info was very nasty. After speaking with her I saw that he was not exaggerating. For whatever reason my insurance information was not coming up in the system. It eventually did, but unfortunately not before our shouting match. I believe this woman was very unprofessional and showed little if any patience. My son had his blood drawn quickly and painlessly. But, all the extra excitement was uncalled for. read more

Went there twice for blood work that I have done at other locations such a New Brunswick with no problem 4 over 7 years. It usually took no more than 20 minutes or less. They close the Brunswick branch. Thought I give Somerset Veronica Avenue a try what a big mistake the woman they are completely so slow with attitudes if they have all day just to attend to one person the promise they got a massive crowd there. I went there the first time after waiting for 40 minutes they told me they couldn't find my referral from my doctor I came back a second time it was people out in the hallway the two women in there are slow the place is very unprofessional it's complete joke. I have gone to East Brunswick twice and I'm not exaggerating but in 15 minutes I was in and out will go there even though it's a little bit further. read more

Went to this service center to do blood test for my one year son. The staff took half an hour to stir the needle in my baby's both arms to find the vein. Now my baby's both arms are bruised. One of the technician, named Jennifer gave us a really bad attitude during the whole visit. When my baby was crying, she can not focus on her job, instead, she was keeping standing up just because my baby cried so hard. She said, "Oh my god, oh my god, he is going to throw up!", with her face looked at she felt so disgusting. Although my baby did not throw up at all. After I exiting the office, I cried in the car for half an hour because the way they treated my one year old baby. The staff in this service center lack of necessary training, at least they are NOT qualified to do pediatric work at all. Parents should be aware of this. Front staff are the face of the business, Quest Diagnostics needs to take some action. read more

I have a VERY big fear of blood work. Usually I pass out, I cry, and I get sick (keep in mind I am an adult LOL). The front desk was so welcoming! Once it was my turn I informed the phlebotomist of my serious concerns. She was AMAZING. So patient and calm. She used a baby needle and allowed me to lay on a lounger chair with an ice pack on my neck. She changed the way I view getting blood work. I do not know her name but she is there every other Saturday now. I told her not to quit her job because she's incredible at it. Thank you for being so patient and making this experience so painless. I will only go back here from now on. read more

My new health insurance sent me to this location. I have always had problems getting blood drawn. But not at this lab. The wait time is quick. Less than ten minutes each time I've been there. The staff is extremely professional and the technicians are great. My past three visits have been 100% pain free and no bruising. I can't say enough about this lab. I have already recommended them to a friend who has the same problem giving blood that I do. I'm glad I found this place. read more

Had an appointment and still had to wait for people without one. The lady that checked us in was VERY rude and mean. It was my sons first time for blood work and when I mentioned it to the woman that took him back she didn't even reply anything! I had to explain to my son. Then she yelled at him for his vein collapsing that he was too nervous!!! I wanted to yell but didn't want to make my son cry. She had to stick him again!!! Horrible and Rude office!!! read more
