Seeing mixed reviews here is kind of surprising. Probably the management has taken the review feedbacks seriously and have improved with time. Either getting an online appointment or a walk-in, getting your blood work done here can be very seamless. We made a walk-in appointment here through one of the self checkout kiosks at the location and were called in immediately. The staff check in got over quickly and were directed to provide our blood work. We got the blood drawn quickly without any pain and were out within a short time. We received the blood results the very next day too. Parking here is breeze and plenty.

Everyone knows getting lab work isn't on the daily list of fun, but I honestly believe the staff at this location make it their daily business to make this process a little taste of hell on Earth. Customer service is lacking especially with the front desk staff members. There is a new an "express check-in" using iPads and instead of speaking to customers and making them aware of this new process, the rocket scientists at the front desk expect you to look at this sign in the sign in log and find it for yourself. Not intuitive at all since 5 people walked in and none of us read this sign. When I did, I gave feedback that they should use spell check prior to laminating a directional sign!

Maddox got his blood work drawn for the very first time at Labcorp on Veronica avenue and look at what they did to his arm. I was hugging Maddox in a Mama bear hug so he wouldn't move while another phlebotomist held his arm down so it wouldn't move so the main phlebotomist could take his blood. However, I didn't realize they were digging their nails on his arm as they were holding him down BUT he was NOT moving. BEWARE DO NOT TAKE your kids here to get blood work done. I will NEVER take my son here again. The phlebotomist even had the nerve to prick him twice because he kept moving the needle in and out of the vein even when I asked him nicely to please take it out since he wasn't getting any blood return. NEVER AGAIN!

I was okay with waiting for the appointment before me to finish. Someone walked in around 15-20 minutes after I had, without an appointment, and was seen before me. At that point, I had been there for 50 minutes. I asked the receptionist why they were seen before me and she said it was because they had an appointment, but I heard them walk in and say that they didn't have an appointment, so I was like lol i have ears don't lie to me. She then told me that the doctor wanted to see the other patient first because they weren't feeling well, which is completely understandable; however, she could've taken a nice 15 seconds out of her day to tell me that, before I sat and waited 50 minutes for no reason. It takes 15 seconds to be courteous and tell a patient that they would be seeing people out of the order that they came in. 15 seconds of a courteous heads up could have gone a long way in this situation. I needed to dip out, because I was running late to something, so I didn't have a chance to have a blood test done. Now, if I have an illness, I'm not gonna know, because I never got my blood test. Smh bitches these days, i hope ur happy, and for future reference, learn to be courteous. It takes 15 seconds. #wastemytime2k18

I sat down and at 12:10 I finally went back up and said when will I get Nextel. She mumbled they are running late. Told her I could not sit in pain any longer. She finally called me in to give my information. I saw all the phlebotomist running back and forth so fast they looked like they had roller skates on. They told me to stand under the exit sign till they call me in. I think there were 3 or maybe 4 rooms with curtains for privacy. I prayed I didn't get the woman who didn't know if she was coming or going but I did. Are u still with me? Here comes the part that I will never forget . I told the phlebotomist that the vein in my left arm was not good last week when I had blood drawn. U could see it still had a black and blue. Told her the vein on my right arm is better from what the lady phlebotomist said! She grabbed the bad vein and put the put the tight band in above my vein. I asked her how many tubes? She said 6. She stuck me but did not leave the needle alone. She kept moving it in my vein. Judy like the last phlebotomist did when she pulled it out and used my other arm. It took forever. I asked her why it was taking so long? Was the blood coming out slowly? Because again, the last person pulled it out and restarted it in the good arm. She kept pushing on needle that was in my vein and I saw how slowly the blood was trickling out. I prayed it would be over quickly because no one likes getting their blood drawn much less 6 viles! She pulled needle out and put a 4x4 gauze pad folded in half and put a band aid on and told me to leave. By the time I walked out of building and on to side walk the blood was bleeding out! Bleeding out of my arm, thru the band aid and all over the side walk. My friend walked me back in because I was about to faint. Never saw anything like this in my 60 years of life. I opened the door to get back into office and all the people crowding in the waiting room saw me walk in with blood running all over me and the floor. I screamed to get someone's attention to help me. They took my back immediately. There was no place to sit. I had to walk back into the room where she took the blood. Meanwhile I was trying not to pass out. The blood was a dark red and it was rushing out of my arm. The pavement and their floors in waiting room was covered in my blood! I could not stop the bleeding. As one technician grabbed my arm and put warm compresses on the others were cleaning up the floor! She rapidly put more gauze on the area and put the regular length of flexible material around the area 4 times around to put enough pressure on it to stop the bleeding ! Then they told me to leave. The patients in the waiting room were horrified. I know I have never seen anything like I was experiencing, ever. If they would have slowed down and took the time which as needed she would have put enough pressure than a piece of gauze and a band aid! The way they are treating real people (patients)!is unfair. It look like a money making place to me. Know I will always have this fear it will happen again! Lab Corp u need to do better. We are not sardines or a heard of cattle. Our time is as important as yours and u are suppose to know what you are doing when taking blood. I highly recommend the board of health go in for a day and see how they operate this blood market! It's inhumane the way they have it set up and they are more interested in numbers of people going there than the type of care they are giving. Very upset . I should have never been let go until the bleeding stopped ! I couldn't even find the band aid because it was covered with my blood dripping out quickly. They are lucky i did not pass out. It was because of my friend holding me up and getting me back into office. I am scared for life due to this experience! I need to have blood work done once every 2-3 months because of my health. Please clean up Lab Corp! I was told the other places in different towns aren't much better. That a hell of a thing to be told! I apologies for any miss spelling and grammatical mistakes. I can barely see on my cell phone. I don't have a computer. Please read in full. If u think u could handle this establishment , be my guest

Then today March 2026 I'm notified that THIS company has sent me to collections for a $415 bill that appeared out of nowhere. There's no charge or trace of this bill on my actual hospital bill/receipt. In the months that have passed they have never contacted me or made it known in anyway that I had a bill with them despite having access to all of my contact information, address included. It's as if the bill appeared out of thin air. I called customer service hoping for access to more information on this charge and (as is my right) the option to pay with my insurance, I was denied both immediately. I was told there was no way for me to access the bill or ANY information with University Radiology despite them being responsible for the charge, I was denied the option to pay with my insurance and was told I had no choice but to pay the $415 to the debt collectors ( Remex inc) who also provided no information on this sudden charge and is leaving no option but to pay off the bill TODAY . As someone who now has to cough up almost $500 for a mystery charge or suffer bad credit I seriously recommend avoiding any hospitals working with them you can check who they work with on their website at the bottom of the page.
