Quest Diagnostics labs are consistently disappointing. The link to check in NEVER works requiring a lengthy kiosk check in including scanning personal documents that Quest has received MANY times previously. This happens at every Quest location we've used. When the consistent problem is pointed out to Quest employees they just shrug and say "we can't do anything about it on our end but you can complain to Quest ". A totally unacceptable response for a totally unacceptable repeating problem. Quest could not care less about customer service. Run, don't walk, away from Quest. read more

I have come to this quest a few times now and I have to say that I've only had great experiences, they are fast and friendly and very thorough. I understand how people are frustrated because there's no longer receptionist to check you in or help, but I have noticed if you just knock on the door, somebody is more than willing to come out and help get you checked in. read more

A thumbs down is more accurate for this location. The business phone line should reflect to the physical office testing hours. There is No way to get written confirmation when making a pre- employment drug screen. The phone system makes an error and the staff is so quick to bypass you. The people working there are so rushed that they feel the need to be rude and short with clients to the point where they cut people off while they are speaking. I witness an elderly woman just trying to ask the lab person a question and she rudely told her to wait her turn. I spoke up for the woman and told the rude body, she wants to ask a simple question and no One is upfront to help patients, she rolled her eyes and me and walked to back. Pre-employment drug screens are not done by 3:00PM at listed on the door, its best to schedule an appointment 1 hour in Advance in order not to get the run around on to why they can't test you. Their excuse is once FedEx arrives for pick-ups thats its. So why NOT schedule pickups after 4 PM? These people need to remember they are working for the community and they should get training on human kindness. When we entered the lab room she asked if my sons order was by Dr. XYZ I was not familiar I said with that name, before I could finish talking she rudely interrupts and says ok what's he here for, I said routine lab work that's what his doctor said, rudely interrupts again and says what's the name of his doctors office, then continues. My first mistake was not checking reviews before going here. I went almost two weeks ago to take my 13 month infant to get his blood drawn to check for lead, I went to his doctor today expecting to have the results by now but turns out they messed up his blood sample. I received no call no nothing. Just straight up screwed up the test. Now I have to look somewhere else to do this traumatizing thing for my infant once again because these people don't know what they are doing. I wait for 15 min before checking to see what my wait time would be, I was told by a woman I'd be waiting for 40 minutes to an hour, I wait and hour and 20 minutes before checking the front desk again. They no longer had me on the list. They no longer had me on the list because the man working the front desk originally came out and called my first name with a DIFFERENT last name.. (5 minutes after I was told my wait time would be 40-60 minutes) after he called it twice he then marked it absent. I completely wasted my time here and failed to make another appointment thanks to their incompetence. Once the called me back the woman was friendly, although I feel that it's inappropriate to announce my full first middle and last name when they only announced everyone else's first and last name. You would never think this place is anywhere near a medical facility. The unprofessionalism in the front desk is outstanding, I have never seen this type of rude/nasty behavior since I was in a ghetto mall. There should be far more empathy for patients, not everyone understands how certain things work. I can understand being frustrated sometimes but this was on another level. I felt like I was hearing my siblings bicker but I was hearing a front desk nurse (I think nurse) and a patient. Being in the medical field myself it was hard watching someone get treated so poorly. I can guarantee if there were more complaints and professional eyes placed onto this facility there would not be this type of behavior. This location has the most unprofessional staff. Their derogatory verbal behavior and comments towards others needs to be addressed. I have witnessed two employees today whom were both rude and verbally abusive towards those whom had appointments. Management needs to rectify the situation and look into hiring staff that enjoy their job and do not scold, yell or mumble under their breath when dealing with the public. The supervisor, who refuses to introduce himself treated me with the upmost disrespect, you do not treat a person that wat. . I paid Quest for a Rapid covid test because I was flying to Hawaii. Hawaii makes it mandatory to get a test and results within 72 hrs of flying to any island there so I paid Quest for their "expedient" results. 1. Well here is the problem. Took them 8 days to get back to me. Luckily I went with Wallgreens at the same time(they came through in 24hrs) 2. I waited in my car for over 20 minutes even though I had an appointment etc 3. I emailed them 9 times with only one reply 15 days after initially contacting them. 4. There are no phone numbers you can call to ask questions. 5.Their customer service is non-existent. I was treated so disrespectfully by an employee who stated he was the "supervisor" he would not give me his name or his superiors. I am so appalled at this employees nasty behavior. I show up and check into the kiosk and the nasty little Hispanic man with glasses very rudely told me I don't have an appointment. I said I called yesterday and got the appointment. My wife was treated with complete disrespect and humiliation by staff at the 1250 Waterman Ave 'lab'...! This isn't the first time and they deserve no stars. Araceli just doesn't know what she's doing. She hurt me in both my arms. Constantly wiggled the needle on my arm I had to ask her to stop because she was hurting me. Now I have to go back in 2 days because this testing needs to be done in a certain time frame for my baby. read more

I am surprised at all of the awful reviews, and I fully expected the worst when I went in this morning, but it was a great experience. About an hour before my appt time, I received a text message with a link for checking in upon arrival. When I got there, there was no difficulty finding a parking spot, and the door to Quest is right there when you walk into the main lobby. The Quest area had plenty of seating (masks and social distancing required) and there were only about 5 other people there (10:00 am on a Friday). I was very early, so while the link noted I had to wait a bit before I checked in, I was able to check in very easily at the kiosk. Some folks came in just after me and the woman at the desk was very kind and instructed them how to check in at the kiosk as a walk-in and noted the tv screen would show their wait time. I was able to see my wait time, which ended up being only about 10-15 minutes, and they called me in. My handler, Carolyn, was kind, professional, and thorough. She walked me through the process, answered my questions, and was overall excellent. I have white coat syndrome so I cannot stress enough how important kindness and patience is for me in this type of situation, and she was wonderful. She explained next steps and I went on my way. I was only there for maybe 20-30 minutes so it was a breeze. I would definitely use this location again. read more

It's so horrible the fat white lady with the big forehead was sooo rude and unprofessional, she hates her job and is miserable (if you're not happy with your job, quit!!) in the only 30mins that I was there, I witness and experienced a lot. first of all, the workers there got into a argument in front of everyone, yelling at each other across the room and the white lady in front of the desk talked to everyone with disrespect especially to a new worker there in training. Theresa at the front desk was terribly rude to an elderly patient checking in. I understand that iPads are used for checking in, however the elderly are not so tech savvy and he did not understand. She was rude, they was she spoke to him was uncalled for, and did not help him understand. She was clearly impatient with him, he was left confused and standing there not knowing what to do. I had to step in and help him go through each prompt. The elderly gentleman expressed he was weak and had just gotten out of the hospital. Once they opened, we had to wait a few minutes to get to the kiosk, but we did have an appointment and one we checked in, the process went very fast. Since moving to the San Bernardino area a year ago, I have had numerous occasions to visit Quest Lab on Waterman. I always schedule an appointment to speed up the process. The check-in process is quick and easy. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for service. The last time I was there, Cathy and Rowland did my draw. Cathy was pleasant and efficient. She took the time to answer my questions and enlisted Rowland to help with a questionable order. I have been to several Quest Labs in the past and this one is by far a step above. Kudos to the staff! My review is the email I have sent to Quest directly. On February 5th as I sat with my husband waiting for a 3rd cycle of chemo I got angrier by the minute. Our appointment was for 10:00 a.m. the treatment is a 3 hours process. As 12:30 rolled around I started to write because it is the fault of Quest that we cannot receive treatment. This is due to the incompetence of the staff at 2150 N. Waterman Ave. We went in for blood work on the day chemo started to have our baseline established. We brought with us our standing orders. These were written for LabCorp which use to be our provider. The lady at the desk of Quest had called Loma Linda University and had our new orders, which are standing sent with the proper title. It was on this day that they were submitted by fax and the directions were complete and clear as to our needs. I know this or the blood draw on that day would not have been performed properly. We rely on the training, education and compassion of Quest to do what is requested properly. We have now had the displeasure of visiting your office 3 times. Our 1st visit January 22, 2016 it was extremely busy. We waited for about an hour. However my husband felt ill so we made an appointment for the following Monday. While we waited though we got to witness how rude the office lady was to other patience's. Along with the playtime she was having with the only other person working. When we made it for our 2nd trip it was the same. A lot of playing around among the staff hollering from the front of the office to the back. As well as just inappropriate rudeness to patience which no one deserves. This brings us to our February 5th visit with our standing orders already firmly in your system. Yet, somehow only half of the orders were done. The critical part of our needs were not done. I would think when our orders were brought up on your system you would see all of the orders that were needed so we could proceed with chemo. I suspect though that since your staff were again giggling and hollering from the front of the office to the back they were more focused on their play time rather than their patience. This is now at our expense and not acceptable. We are dealing with cancer for God sake running on a cycle of 3 treatments. Today being our 3rd which is supposed to include the ever so important targeted drug! Which so far we are not getting because our orders were not done properly. Our oncology nurses at Loma Linda University had to call Quest to remedy this situation and figure out why Quest could not handle this simple request of blood and urine which is their business. However the blame was firmly placed on us and Loma Linda University for not sending complete orders. Which is absolutely insulting and a flat out lie. Since Quest seemed to get it right on the 1st draw, how could they possibly do that if they did not have the proper orders in its entirety? Unacceptable. Meanwhile three hours later, Loma Linda University, decided that treatment was far too important and drew blood so we could have treatment. I expect Quest to pay for this as it is your mistake due to the lack of diligence in treatment on your part. I will add that while I did not see staff being flat out rude the 3rd time they were less than pleasant again to other patience. People do not need this when they do not feel well or are in need of these services. If your staff would rather play why are they there? Who takes a job in the medical industry and has no compassion for those they care for? Shame on your lack of management and inability to be professional. Less play more work. Yelp reviews for this location are bad as well and I suspect the rude clerk spoken of on yelp is the one I am witnessing. God forbid whoever gets this message have to use your services as this office it is full of clowns who do not take the care of their sick patience seriously. I went here yesterday for a blood draw for checking my sugar levels and urine sample to check my creatine levels. Kathy-Hispanic jammed in a needle into left arm and snaked it down my forearm and filled one tube of blood and was so incompetent she jammed in the needle again and could get no blood for second tube. Theresa is the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to. I went in yesterday, 11/5/2019, to have blood drawn. The gentleman that drew my blood was fantastic (unfortunately, I don't remember his name). He was friendly and made the process quick and easy. The doctor had ordered several tests, one of which no one could figure out and couldn't get ahold of the doctor to clarify. I was told that I could contact the doctor myself and call Quest Diagnostics within a couple of days to avoid having to go back and have more blood drawn. So today I called to provide that information and spoke with Theresa. This woman straight up YELLED AT ME on the phone, told me I would need to go back in person. When I asked her why they told me to call then, she became extremely rude, wouldn't let me speak and began yelling. I went back and forth with her for a minute and gave up and asked her name. She refused to provide her last name so "Theresa" is all I got. I don't live close by so it was a major inconvenience, but to be treated that way is completely unacceptable. read more
