Yo...try not to be so impatient with old people when they're working with the iPads. The tablets are supposed to make it easier on you and them but if it's not easy for them, you have to find a way to be helpful to them without being frustrated and sarcastic. I know you deal with this all day but it's your job to make these experiences easier. read more

I had a decent experience. I was nervous when I found out that my 1 yr old had to have his blood drawn. A nervous wreck! I believe her name was Dawn, I sure hope it was, she was so patient and gentle. She instructed me on what I could do to help and she called for backup. Both ladies made the process go smooth. Teamwork! Thank you all. read more

These people have sucked so much blood out of my veins in the last year that I am truly surprised I have any left. At least they are good at it. They always insist on taping on a piece of gauze afterward. I think the most painful part is tearing off that tape once you get home and it always leaves this super stubborn, ugly film that does not want to come off. If you make an appointment on line first, you will be in and out faster than you can pick up a hamburger at McDonalds. However, if you just drop in without an appointment then there is no telling what you are going to have to deal with. You might be standing in line to register for a half hour and then spend another hour waiting amongst undisciplined children running around screaming while their rude and even more undisciplined parents talk very loud on their cell phones. It can get painfully loud in there. Then again, you might get lucky and come at a time when the place is almost empty. read more

It's pretty sad when the intern gives me better customer service than the actual employee. My phlebotomist was clueless on how to spell "coconut" to look up my specific blood draw/allergy test. I wanted to correct her, but didn't want to come off as educated or something. Then the SUPER nice intern nails my vein on the first go, and is super friendly to me, and we are chatting it up while my 29347 vials of blood are being drawn. On the last vial (he has an Indian accent, and I TOO am Indian) he mentions to the phlebotomist that there is an air bubble in it. She RUDELY says "what? a what? I CANT UNDERSTAND YOU! WHAT?"...to which I just say "an air bubble. He said AIR BUBBLE." Then I proceeded to tell him what a GREAT job he did with drawing my blood. I hope they hire him, because the lady who actually worked here is obviously a miserable person. read more

The gentleman next to me had to wait three hours for his urine test. The staff was incredibly slow and said the wait would only be 15 minutes when it took well over an hour. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!!! Also, I am very concerned about the staff changing gloves between patients for urine tests and touching things after putting on gloves. Really gross. I watched one of the staff who was doing the drug screening test, who was very friendly, but I didn't see her change gloves until I asked her to because they had tears in them. Think of all the surfaces that were contaminated with urine if she wasn't changing her gloves... read more

I had to take my 12 month old for bloodwork and I was already dreading it. But this experience made everything 100 times worse. The tech named Jesse who initially was going to draw blood had a hard time finding a vein. He told me to grab my sons wrist and when he felt I wasn't doing it correctly he pushed my hand away and grabbed it saying "like this!". When he still couldn't find it he said "I have to call someone else in". I said ok and he replied "I guess he's just too strong for you" again I said ok. He the. Repeated that I had to hold his wrist and I told him that's what I'm doing. He responded by saying "oh ok, I guess it's just moving on it's own then" and rolling his eyes. I told him I didn't appreciate his attitude and he raised his voice and me telling me I was giving him attitude. At that point I asked for a different tech. I completely understand that it's hard to find the vein of a 12 month old but I've had his blood take at other locations without any issue before. Jesse was intentionally rude and careless and acted like it was our fault he was having trouble. read more

Rude staff. Actually heard a nurse say out loud to another employee that she"hates" that place. Waited over an hour to pee in a cup and when I asked about the long wait they appeared to have misplaced my paperwork or something. One of the staff members was actually really nice but it felt like the DMV in there. read more

I watched patiently as the receptionist working on 9/7/21 at 12:30 rudely interacted with each patient that dared to ask a question including seniors and second English language speakers. She rolled her eyes and made muffled comments under her breath in between questions before rudely yelling at everyone in the facility that I'f a chair wasn't available they would need to go out side. She then called out people one by one who didn't even yet have a chance to move. Just rude and in unnecessary. Please please please put her in a performance improvement plan with classes in patient etiquette and professionalism. 3 of the other patients waiting outside commented on how something needed to be done about her unprofessionalism. read more

I got here fairly early on a Thursday morning without an appointment for a drug test, expecting to have a long wait but surprisingly there was not much people so they made an exception for me and ushered me through before the crowd came. How very nice of them. I'll come back here again whenever an employer requests labs. They did say that 10:00 is the start time for drug screens though so don't expect them to accept you before that time. I lucked out! Overall, they are polite but also very busy people. ETA: Though when things get stressful, I have observed one of the workers panic a bit and raised her voice to customers. Expect to wait awhile if you're going later in the day as well. I suggest making appointment or going really early before the crowd. read more

This place does not respect appointments. They had us waiting two hours longer even with an appointment. If they will keep us waiting a couple hours then what is the point of making an appointment?? Another lady who had the appointment at the same time as us and was seen soon...right away (15min) after her appointment time, I want to know why did they keep us waiting longer if we had the same appointment time??? On top of this, the short lady with black hair (her name: MEER) had the worst attitude and we saw her pick and choose who would be seen first and who would be skipped, we saw this happened 4 times at least while waiting. And others shared with us how they also had been skipped and showed us their appointment cards. The appointment was for my mother and my mom tried to ask MEER the lady w/ the bad attitude a question about her appointment but she kept ignoring my mom. I had to stand up for my mom and advocate for her in order for this rude lady to answer my mom's question. That situation angered me so much that I just had to write about our terrible experience today. Don't recommend anyone to come here because they don't respect your time slot nor do they know how to speak to people in a professional/respectful manner. I understand with this pandemic everyone is stressed and has a lot going on but even more of a reason to be kind to one another. I hope the manager/supervisor keeps an eye on their employee Meer or any other employee that's also picking and choosing who they skip and let go first regardless of appointment time. A review training about how to treat patients wouldn't be a bad idea either. Thank you. read more

I had a totally different experience from the majority. Everyone was efficient and friendly. From the front desk to Miss. Hernandez that administered my drug test. I was in and out in under 15min( My appointment was at 1:15). I do recommend making a appointment. Note: It wasn't super busy when I came in. If you don't want a long wait, don't come on Monday or Friday morning. Those are the high traffic times. read more

Came here on a Saturday and look at how long the line was in the pictures. I got to admit the staff went pretty fast. I was surprised on how fast i was out of there. Took me 45 mins and I was done. Reading all the reviews, I was super skeptical about coming here because of the customer service and how they do your blood work. Came here on a walk in, I had to wait for less than 30 minutes. Super understandable because they take appointments before walk ins. I encountered with Lindsay at the front desk and she was super sweet. Actually, all of them were really nice. I was in and out within less than 45 minutes. Marissa is the person that drew my blood and she was super comforting and did it so quick. Honestly, from my experience, I'm super scared of needles but Marissa made it much better. You guys should definitely give this place a try. The staff were all so sweet to me! Anytime I need blood work done, I know I'll be okay coming to this location. Thanks Quest! read more

Horrible service!! Last time I was here with my disability nephew for the lab test. But didn't know where the doctor faxed the paper to so a lady in front desk wrote me a piece next time I come back no need to make an appointment or wait in line. Today I'm back and show them a piece of paper.. guess what? They don't trust me and tell me to check in , waiting for 30mins and still not called my nephew name.. If they don't take us as an appointment patient then it's fine, tell me I can come back with an appointment next time. Instead waiting for long time!!! read more

The girl at the front desk is just plain rude! After my dr appointment I walked in on a weekday. Before I even reached the door I was asked if I had an appointment I said no. I was told they were at capacity (around like 3ish). I was advised to make an appointment or try another day. So it's Saturday, same girl at the front desk. Same thing "do you have an appointment" I said no. She goes to tell me to make an appointment because they're no longer taking walk ins. As I walk outside a gentleman advises me to do a walk in appointment online. I was surprised as he indicated he was able to get an appointment in 20 minutes. Sure enough I was able to get a walk in appointment to be seen in 15 minutes!! As I'm sitting there waiting she is literally denying everyone without an appointment instead of advising to make the walk in appointment online. I see this lady with an elderly man and I can tell they're frustrated so I tell her she can actually get an appointment today online. The girl behind the desk goes to say "yeah but they're working on stopping that." I asked her so is my appointment not valid? She said yes it is but they're stopping walk in appointments in the future. Girl if you hate your job just say so!! The one star is for the lab tech that drew my blood, he was very nice and comforting. read more

Worst customer service ever! I will forsure go out of my way next time to go to a different location! The front desk lady's need customer service training the lady that was doing my piss test needs to get some training on how to talk to people as well. I had an appointment and I was still there for over an hour and a half! The worst thing in the world is to make an appointment and still not be seen at the scheduled time! I would not reccomend this location to no one! If I could give 0 stars i would. read more

AVOID THE PLAGUE!!! Do not come here they have the worst customer service ever! I'm 28weeks pregnant this rude ass front desk Asian girl had the worst atittude she ran out chasing me telling me I couldn't leave that I had to wait for an hour? Like really I had this test done in the past and they've never told me to sit my ass down inside. So fucking rude and excuse my language but they have no idea how to be professional at all. All they do is whisper about other waiting in there I can't believe they have people like this working in here that have no respect towards no one. I will not be coming here ever again. read more

Internist sent us to Quest Diagnostics today with an order marked "Stat" so that we could pick up a container to use for a stool sample. He marked it stat because they have recently walled off all staff from the public. Unless you have made a previous appointment via the internet, you cannot even request a specimen container, even with a doctor's order needing it quickly. This is June 17th. The earliest appointment is 10 days from now. We cannot even get a specimen container until then, much less get the test done, even tho the doctor wants the test done immediately. I have internet so I could at least make an appointment. People without the ability to do this are apparently out of luck. Clearly policy and maximizing workflow must take precedence over patient care or doctors orders, at all costs. Guess the only way to get a specimen container is to go to the emergency room. Guess this is just another way to maximize medical costs by sending people to the hospital instead of their healthcare provider. read more

My doctor sent me to get some blood work done after my appointment. I headed over and the doors were closed 15 minutes before 5:00pm.

Sat in this office for more than an hour. There were only 4 people ahead of me and one phlebotomist. I haven't eaten in 12 hours. She shouldn't be running this lab alone. They need someone with a personality and some efficiency. Bad experience I feel like a rat in a lab. read more

Two hours and counting.... They are grossly understaffed & no one cares that you have to wait. Tried to make an appointment as the clerk suggested, but they are all booked up. My advise is to either not come here or make an appointment if you can. However - the people watching might just be better than the airport. This place was FULL of unusual characters! One guy was talking to himself and moved from one open to the next and left a trail of tan bark coming out of his pockets. Another kept running from his caretaker & a lady passed out during her glucose test. read more

Worst service ever came in to do some blood work for my pregnant wife they told us it would be an hour wait so we decided to take a walk since it's hard for my wife to site down for a long period of time. Were heading out an one of the workers that thinks she's a doctor comes running out side yelling at us saying we can't leave we need to stay so we explained that my wife can sit down for a long period of time so we needed to walk an just continued with the same attitude. Just rude unhappy people that work here last time I'll be coming here read more

The staff was pretty friendly. Only thing is when I walked up to the desk two of the employees were having a personal conversation and instead directing all their attention on me (the customer) they kind of just told me what to do and continued with their talk. This place is a hot mess!!! Arrived and saw 3 people in waiting room with 1lady in front of me and thought great not a long wait! Absolutely wrong !!!!! I asked at the desk hour long the wait she replied just a few minutes we're not busy 45 minutes later they call me up for ins. Info and appx. 1hour later i get a 5minute lab work done. Can I give it no stars because that's what the service deserves. I made an appointment for 1 o'clock because after reading yelp reviews seemed like the smartest decision. Get to the location 10 minutes before my appointment , waited 15 minutes before I finally got service , turned in my paperwork was told to sit down it is now 1:12 pm. 1:30 and I'm still sitting what was the purpose of my appointment again?? Either it's just bad luck but one of the worst system I've experienced. They stop drug screening at 3pm even though they close at 5pm. They do not do drug screening on weekends so they puts another delay to start my job. Went in on Friday, January 8, 2016 and "their system is down". Worker said they will do drug screening as early as they open but today, January 11, 2016 they said not till 10am. Their workers need to know their schedules. I made appointment once they said it faster but its the same as you not making the appointment and the reception people arent very nice they call you up and take your info and you take a seat then you have to wait even more to get called back to the front desk and then sit back down and wait till you get called back to get your blood drawn read more

I arrived at the Quest Diagnostic Center located at West Stockton Boulevard Elk Grove California at 4:30 p.m. According to the website they're open 7 a.m. to 5 o'clock p.m. I get there and the doors are locked. I see a woman through the window and tap on the window as I motion to her 5 o'clock? She motions back four o clock pm. I was quite frustrated as I live 35 minutes away and was in hurry to get here before they closed. I have been here several times over the last couple of weeks and every visit has been a disaster. When you call for an appointment the phone rings and rings and rings. So then you walk in and end up with a two and a half hour wait on average. My previous experience to this visit was not only the long wait but there was only one person in the office who was also drawing blood and the waiting room is filled. I could go on but its quite ridiculous. Attempt to find another lab if possible. To avoid any other incidence with this lab I'd rather pay $100 fee Plus the lab fee $25 to have my blood drawn at the Urgent Care Center. Yes $100 seems steep, but I'd pay it, to avoid another visit here. read more

More often times than not, medical offices and their staff are viewed in a negative light. I had a pleasant visit last friday as I went in for my blood and drug test. The staff was as cordial as they could be given the number of people waiting. As I was cared for, the medical assistant was patient, kind and respectful. Most people would rather go to medical offices and leave immediately, hence there impatient posture towards the staff. This office has workers that are adept and professional in their approach towards their patients. read more

I had a great experience at this location. I think most of the staff came from the location down the road and some of them seem to like it better at this location. Everyone is always really friendly and apologetic if you have to wait. The wait has never been too bad though (unlike the other location). It is clean and they always seem to have plenty of people working. If I have to get blood drawn, this is the spot. read more

I took my mom here for some lab work. Make an appointment before you come! Without an appointment, you can expect to wait a really long time. And come early to check in if you do have an appointment. My mom had an appointment at 9:30. We got there at 9:10 and the place was packed. And there was a line to check in too. It's self check in on a computer. Beware that it may be a bit slow checking in. Some people may have difficulty in navigating through the computerized check in. Good thing we got there a bit earlier than the appointment time. By the time I got to check in, it was close to 9:30. I checked my mom in and we only waited for about 5 mins! I was so happy about that. They really take care of you at your appointment time. And the lady that helped my mom was soooo nice. My mom was a little scared in getting her blood drawn, but the lady was just so friendly and so calming, which made my mom less tense. Make an appointment before you come! read more
