It's frustrating that they have no front desk, they only have 2 iPads for the check-ins.. For some weird technical reason, I couldn't check in, the system said it couldn't find my appointment. I had to show them an employee my confirmation email and code, even they said it was strange. Luckily they took me in anyway. They were nice about it and the labs were done quickly. I get extremely bad anxiety with needles and I requested for the butterfly needle. This was actually one of the more pleasant blood draw experiences I've had so far. I didn't bruise after and healed up fast. Went in on a Thursday morning, lab results came in next Friday, so it took a bit over a week. You have to make an account to get the results. read more

I understand if you're a walk in there will be a wait time. I was prepared to wait for a long time if needed. But to wait over three hours to be told they were not going to see me was ridiculous. Common courtesy would have been to inform us they might not get to us and atleast we could have decided on our own to stay or just come another day. Instead they waiting until closing to tell me they weren't going to see me. Horrible client care!!!! No wonder why this location is rated poorly. read more

The scanner for the QR code doesn't work and it continually requires you to restart the check in. Also does not read Driver's License. Need to replace the ancient scanner to enable easy check-in or have an actual human being to help. It is lots of fun watching befuddled Seniors who have no idea how to use an iPad. read more

Pretty long wait with and without an appointment but that's inevitable nowadays getting serviced. What really is messed up about this place is that there are no front desk workers available and they solely rely on self service check in technology. Every time I come in I see an elderly person struggling to get checked in because there is no one around to help. If you do bother them at the door for help they make you feel like you're inconveniencing them. read more

I love the space after the remodel--it is super bright and spacious. I also love being able to make appointments and check-in through a text. The lab tech, Kuo, was super fast and took care of my son gracefully and efficiently. I would highly recommend!! read more

This review is for Friday April 14th,It pains me to update my review this way but I find it in my obligation to NOT recommend this location to anyone with any strict time restrictions , I scheduled my appointment ahead of time about a week ago , left early from work & wasn't seen on time , I had a 1:30 appointment but seen at 1:50 , the service itself was quick ( Rebecca ) was the person who helped me out , the restroom is very clean but no toilet seat covers, I feel like that's a huge sanity standard not being followed at a testing center like Quest ... If anyone has found a silver ring pictured please reach out to me , last time I wore this ring it was at my appointment here. Sentimental value Care:3/5- I feel like we are losing the care in healthcare by not having a receptionist and only having the tablets . Quality:5/5-Got what I needed done Cost:Insurance Cleanliness:3/5- although it was clean it wasn't sanitary to have no toilet seat covers , Urine cup stains on top of the toilet paper . Atmosphere:1/5- not really welcoming at all just a tv playing ads and two tablets to check in. Parking:LIMITED 3/5 read more

I should've read the reviews before I decided to come to this Quest location. I arrived and was checking in (as a walk-in) at 3:45p.m. (closing time is 4:00p.m.). There was no one in the lobby. An employee walked out and said they were not accepting patients anyone because they were closing. Since when does a business close 15 minutes before official closing time? It was a waste of a drive to this location. read more

There was not enough room in the waiting area for how many people were waiting and most had existing appointments. There needs to be a dedicated person to help technologically challenged patients check in at the kiosks bc those patients slow the phlebotomists down when they can't check themselves in and a phlebotomist has to come out and help them. No window in the waiting room, not enough ventilation and most of the patients look like they have medical conditions. For a Thursday morning, the wait was quite long for a walk in, but I did get in within 15 minutes of the appt I got which was about 30 minutes after I checked in. So I was there a total of almost an hour, will definitely get an appt ahead of time in the future. Phlebotomist who helped me couldn't successfully get a draw on either arm so I was poked once in each arm and then she had to go get a coworker who managed to get a draw. I drank enough water, so I'm not sure what happened, and I've had blood drawn successfully at the first try here before (a little less than 1 year ago), so this time was more painful when the first phlebotomist jabbed and then adjusted (i.e. twisted) to try to get a draw and I actually was in enough pain to have to call out that it hurt so she stopped. Not a pleasant experience. Next time I'll tell them to go straight to a butterfly needle no matter who it is because time is money and they spent more time and also inflicted more pain than needed, I'm sure Quest can afford an occasional butterfly needle. Other than that my experience was ok. read more

Receptionist was on the phone loudly reciting all my personal Information to everyone in the waiting lobby--date of birth, first and last name (including their spellings), specific tests ordered by my doctor, and name of my doctor. My doctor had written in the wrong codes for a few diagnostic tests I needed so she had to call to find the codes--i just wish she would have taken the call in a private area instead of announcing all my information to everyone here--patients and staff-- in the lobby. read more

I've been to a few different quests and this one is by far the best, in my opinion. I've been in the morning and also the afternoon and each time they get me in and out within a few minutes. The staff there has also been really nice. They always ask if I'm ok while doing my blood work. read more

I hadn't visited this lab location since before the Pandemic as I hadn't had a physical during this period. The spacious waiting area was gone replaced by one half its size. Despite the signage that said that the seating was still set up for social distancing, there were people standing and lined up against the walls like in "festival seating" at a rock concert. I could even smell other patrons body odor meaning that they were too close. The phlebotomist cheerily said that that was so they would have more chairs to process patients through. Corporate medicine at its worst. Luckily, I had scheduled the appointment online and check in by text. Course that allowed them to not hire receptionists. I still had to wait past my appointment time. I won't be going back to this location again if needed. Below the standard of care. The lack of space provided could jeopardize one's health from any of a number of air-born illnesses. read more

2/24/2021 TERRIBLE AND RUDE SERVICE!!! I walked in after my appointment with mu physician. I was not greeted or asked anything. Instead of being greeted this rude lady at the front counter who seemed highly irritated by me walking in started yelling at me " You can't bring that kit in here". I had some items in my hand (cellphone and medication samples), I kept trying to explain to her that this wasn't a lab kit but this rude lady kept cutting me off. This EXTREMELY RUDE LADY finally let me talk. I explained to her that my physician sent in a lab order and I was there to get a lab test. I didn't have an appointment, she became extremely upset so I just walked out. If you hate your job and hate people QUIT! read more

Thank you Rebecca for an informative and smooth blood draw. I appreciate the cleanliness and friendly staff.

Worst experience of any medical related facility ever. No receptionist and online appointment service is a joke. Plan on an extra 10 minutes to listen to all of the crap you don't need to hear. read more

As many other reviews state: The receptionist , old lady with wrinkles & short brown hair was extremely rude and petty. I politely asked her where I could get a mask and she said "the store" I also heard her gossiping with another co worker and they were using really vulgar Spanish words. If you don't like your job, you still have to be cordial to new patients. There's so many other diagnostic quests here in Sacramento to go to that are actually willing to help you so I recommend saving your time and going some place else read more

Checking in and everything was okay, it went by fast. The lady who did the first part of my test was very nice and relaxing. The one who did the second part of my test was unpleasant. It was obvious that she doesn't like her job. That didn't bother me as much as how run-down and nasty the office looks. Its supposed to be a medical office but they leave dirt to cake up on the walls and ceiling? That's an infection waiting to happen! read more

This location may be fine if you need proof of no drugs in your system, but don't come here if your doctor thinks you need tests for something else. In the time of covid only covid and drugs matter. Because of the staff at this South Land Park location I was not able to get my tests. They wasted my time but thankfully I was able to get an appointment, and my tests, at another Quest site in town. No need to wonder why there are so many bad ratings for this location. read more

We took our 1 yr old daughter there to get her blood drawn. The first time there, they poked her 4 times and couldn't find her veins and blamed that our daughter is dehydrated and that was the reason. So we had to reschedule. The second time, my wife took our daughter there, they ran out of the small needles which they should have stop and send them to another place or reschedule but instead, they decided to use the big needle and proceed to poke our 1 yr old daughter and still, they couldn't even find her veins. I was upset when I heard about them using the big needle on her because she is only a baby and they should have known better. Definitely wasted our time. Will never set an appointment there anymore. I know the employees names but will not say.. Just hopefully they can get things situated and learn from this. read more

Very terrible service. Came in for a drug test and took me 2 hours to wait for them to call me.

I haven't been to Quest in years . My daughter who is eight needed blood drawn to test her iron levels . I despise dealing with this process because kids obviously don't like pain or needles . But let me tell you, Quest has a angel working their by the name Racheal. She really knows how to deal with children and give them comfort in a professional way . My child was terrified and she put my child at ease . Too many times the workers go unrecognized. Racheal is phenomenal, it was the end of the day and I was all over the place . She didn't have to let us be seen and she did . Racheal is outstanding and needs to be recognized. If I ever end up at Quest again .... Racheal I will be looking for you . read more

I don't understand the negative reviews, everytime I come here never have any problems and I don't even make appointments. I live in Elk Grove and have gone to several locations in Sac County, this is my favorite! read more

Quest Diagnostics is a popular place for people to come here to get their blood draws, urine test, etc. The thing about this location is that it's always seem busy. I have been here a couple times for drug test, and they always tell me the wait is an hour. I do wait about an hour. I come in with a full bladder, and I wait painfully for an hour. I would recommend calling the make sure they are open to the drug testing. Although they open at 7am, the drug test doesn't start until 10am. I guess somehow this place is busy even though it doesn't look like it should be. Beats me. It's conveniently located near my house though. read more

This place is bad. Waiting two hours for a urine drug screening, and only five people have been called ahead of me. Something is really wrong whether it be when you're taking more than 20 minutes to screen one patient. Go somewhere else if you need to do a urine drug screening read more

Went in for a glucose test . I had to wait an hour . That was fine . I was with my 4 year son . Everything was fine until I was sent to the back to draw my blood . The phlebotomist was a complete B**** . I didn't get her name but she was about 5'7" thin blonde hair . Looked in her late 30s . I don't know what the hell was her problem. I don't care what's going on in your personal life but that needs to be left at the door . . She rudely told me and my son he cane sit in the chair where they draw blood , ok obviously I know but we just got in there , my son obviously wanting to be next to mom . I was going to tell him to sit in the other chair , put on a movie for him on my phone.. didn't even give me the chance To say anything well because this lady got a stick up her a** . Nevertheless i ignored her disgusting attitude. I'm just trying to get this over with . So I have my son sit and put on a movie . I then sit in my chair give her my left arm ties on the rubber band &some reason my phone is acting up and my son is quietly squealing so I tell him to come over (to fix the issue and have him quitely wait ) so he walks up to my and hands me my phone . RUDELY she makes hand gestures and says "he can't be running around here " (, he didn't run ...& I'm just trying to fix the phone issue quickly so we can on with this .. ) so I tell her "ok well don't you want him calm ?" . She quickly with literally NO HESITATION NO WARNING snapped /yanked the rubberband OFF . I asked her what her problem Was . That it was rude for her to do that . Obviously she has no manners, no respect , no integrity,no desire to work . Like who &how were you hired. I have gotten blood work done plenty of times , and never had such a rude and entitled ass****. There's no excuse for the way she treated me .& I know the way she treated me literally has nothing to do with me . She is projecting how she feels about her self , on to me ; like S**T. Advice? Take a good look at yourself in the mirror & think about what you did , learn how to love yourself &care for yourself . Quit your job. And do something that makes you happy , then maybe you wouldn't be such a miserable woman . Because an attitude like that .... (lol side note while I'm typing this I'm having a lovely spicy sandwich at a sandwich spot and a man came up next to me talking to his friend how miserable he is with life ... ok this double confirms YOU BLONDE HAIR LADY.. you are in fact miserable ..talk about "signs " and confirmations . . ) as for the facility it's self . Do a better job of hiring your workers . Fire them or have them take a few weeks off , because Im sure these rude phlebotomists act up frequently. read more

Horrible experience. I had an early morning appointment, and waited in my car until I got the text telling me that they were ready for me. When I came in, I was told at the door that they were too full to take any more patients. I told them I had an appointment, so they let me in. The check in process went quickly, and I was told to wait in the hallway by the draw stations. I had to wait in that small hallway with other patients, with very little distancing. After a long wait, I was finally told to go into a room, where I experienced another long wait. Finally, the phlebotomist came in; not the most friendly person, but it was early, so I can forgive that. That blood draw was painful, which usually isn't the case. As I was leaving, I looked down and blood was pouring down my arm. I went back in and she rebandaged it, but no apology was forthcoming. I won't return to this location ever again. I suggest you don't either. read more

If I could give this place ZERO FREAKIN STARS, I would!!! Been waiting (and holding my bladder, mind you) for an hour now. An hour. Just to pee in a cup. They can't "really tell" how much longer it will be either. What a joke of a place! Every experience I've had at any Quest location has been bad but this location takes the cake. If you need a service done, make sure to block out 3 hours if you're coming here. read more

Worst place to come my appointment was @ 1:40 I didn't get called back till 2:50 n still took another 30 minutes to take out my blood. I don't recommend this place at all! Not even with an appointment !!! The WORST STAFF ARE VERY RUDE AS WELL read more

This place is okay. I've been here a couple of times to be drug tested for work and to have lab work done. Parking is super easy since there's a decently big lot for the various businesses here. When you walk in, you sign in and they call you up later to get your paperwork done. No idea why you can't just get that done when you're first up there and are signing in. Most recently I came to get drug tested for new employment and I came in at 10am which is when they begin drug screening so I was first up even though I hadn't made an appointment. I was called up about 15-20 minutes later and got it over with. For my next drug test, I came at around 11:30. This time, I ended up waiting an hour and a half to be called back! If you're there to pee in a cup you probably have to, you know, go, so thanks for making me wait forever. I didn't have an appointment though. Their computers were also down but I don't think that would have impacted wait times much. The people who work here are decently nice but the interior is less than exciting and the wait times ridiculous at times. read more

Not a bad office if you have an appointment. Nice lady up front. This place is a nightmare if you don't have an appointment. You can wait for two hours for blood work. Avoid the middle of the day.
