They give you a 10 minute grace period and then your a walk in. I would like to recognize Catherine/Kathryn I apologize if I have the spelling of her name wrong) at the Quest Diagnostics location at 125 S State Road 7 She truly went above and beyond and deserves national recognition for the way she treats patients.I had appointments for both of my sons, one at 8:40 am and onother at 10:40am and unfortunately, I arrived about 10 minutes late.She was still kind enough to accommodate us and draw both of my sons' labs.What stood out the most was her kindness, patience, and willingness to help. She made us feel welcomed and cared for instead of making us feel bad for being late. It is honestly difficult to put into words how kind and wonderful she was. Employees like her make such a difference, especially when dealing with patients and children\. She is an excellent example of outstanding patient care and customer service.I truly hope Quest recognizes her for going above and beyond. She deserves a national award for the compassion and kindness she shows her patients. Thank you, Catherine/Kathryn, for making our experience such a positive one. I showed up 45 minutes early to an empty lobby. I thought I might get in and out quickly. I had pre-registered in the app but it did not make any difference. I was sent a QR code to check in with but it didn't work so I had to register, check in and scan my id and insurance card again. I was called 15 min prior to my appointment which is better than nothing. The tech in the next cubical was on the phone loudly explaining that the person she was speaking to on the phone was family by marriage and that she should call her blood family instead because she was not interested. This was unprofessional but it offered some comedic relief as I waited to be registered. The tech I saw was very nice and cordial. She inserted the needle and didn't get blood. Instead of retracting the needle and trying again, she pivoted the needle angle by 20 degrees one way then the other. A common yet incorrect tactic to save a stick that results in sliced up veins and sub-cutaneous bleeding. she did get blood in the tubes though. At the time of my review this location has 2.4 Stars which seems to be a little high in my opinion. Definitely no better. read more

Amazing! I had an appointment for labs today at 9:10 and had the pleasure of having Ms. Mary as my phlebotomist. They were on time and gentle but the best part was Ms. Mary, she was super friendly and inviting and spoke softly and explained my labs. She was so gentle i didn't even feel the needle!! Quest has made it almost impossible to interact with a human representative. Their app is cumbersome and confusing. Once you are finally checked in via kiosk at the collection site your name appears on a wall mounted screen showing your position in the queue. However patients are called in out of order which is unfair and frustrating. On today's visit the phlebotomist assigned to my wife was rude when questioned about this. read more

Set appointment two weeks in advance online as all quest labs locations are booked solid. Arrived 15m early, used bar code sent to me online to check in on the computer terminal. There are two so multiple people can check in simultaneously. So easy, took 5 seconds,and was taken in about 6-7 minutes. Lotsa chairs separated in the double separated waiting area which was consoling. Lotsa walk-ins but appointments prioritized so make an advanced appointment. Phlebotomist was nice and friendly and double checked the script so all details were captured in the bloodwork. No complaints. Location was new,spotless and conveniently next to Publix so I went shopping afterwards. Win-Win. read more

Quest has adopted a business model that does not include customer service. They no longer have a receptionist. The technicians all seem flustered and are often rude because they are overworked and need more support than I get therefore they don't provide good support to customers either. When I had a specimen that needed to be dropped off later the technician did not tell me that I also needed to make another appointment just to drop off the specimen so I wasted a trip Because they would not take my specimen and I had to make an appointment and come back the next week. Rude staff. I checked in at the kiosk just to ask a question. My name showed up on the screen and was then removed, buy nobody came out to assist me. There was nobody in the waiting room nor hallways. Eventually another customer came in and I had to wait until they were called back, to then ask for help regarding my lab orders. The woman was not friendly and she was rude...just like many people have mentioned in their Google and Yelp reviews. It is terrible that so many people have complained and nothing gets done! I would not recommend this lab to anyone!! I am going to reach out to corporate and I encourage others to do the same! But the woman who took my blood was very sweet and helpful throughout the entirety of my experience.
