Appointment times mean nothing here. Make an appointment here and wait well beyond that. Staff is horrible just witnessed there staff arguing and telling someone. "There's not enough staff here what do you want me to do". Not very reassuring considering there are doing medical testing. I would recommend go elsewhere read more

Nobody ever answers the phone. I wasn't give any instructions when I left. I tried multiple time. I ended up having to call another location to get answers. No need to make an appointment because you'll end up waiting 10-20 min past it anyways. The person helping me was nice but everyone else was extremely rude to everyone. I encourage to go to another location. Also to quest in general, please make it so we can talk to someone besides a robot. read more

Nightmare of a staff! I was doing a drop off today 11/15/23 at 11:45 am for my 90 year old mom and did not have an appt. and the very very nasty girl working gave me an entire story of why she couldn't take the urine (her co worker was at lunch and she's very very busy busy). Also I said the doctor faxed the prescription to this location and I just needed to drop off the urine for my home bound 90 year old mom to which she replied "we don't have a fax"! I needed to get some blood work done and it was quick, easy, and painless. First I made an appointment online, which was super easy. I suggest entering your insurance information while you're making the appointment to save you more time. Once I arrived, I had forgotten my script that my doctor wrote me - oops! Please remember to bring the script, if not you can call your doctor and have them fax it over. The phlebotomist who took my blood was amazing. I didn't catch his name, but I swear I didn't feel a THING when he put the needle in. I was speechless. Normally I have to look away from the needle as it goes in, but I had to look back at my arm to make sure he actually did it because I felt nothing. I also bruise easily and he didn't leave a mark at all. Overall it was a good experience and I will be coming back next time I need any testing done! read more

I have been using the quest lab over by the Mineola train station for all of mine and my mother's blood work. Frankly the place is awful and the people are not very nice. I decided to give this location a try yesterday needing blood work for me and my mother. The place is absolutely spotless, the people were really nice and accommodating, the electronic check-in was seamless, and the parking was way better than the Mineola location. Stella was extremely nice, efficient, and respectful to my mother. Will always come back here going forward! read more

Don't go to this location. This was the second facility where they drew my blood and I got nerve damage. I went for a routine blood test in the afternoon on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. The phlebotomist on duty had no clue what she was doing. She got my blood but also struck a nerve in the process. Five days later, my arm still aches and there is still a bruise. Now, granted, mistakes sometimes happen. Well, this is the second time in a row this has happened with Quest. A phlebotomist at another location also struck a nerve while doing blood work in December 2020, with an electric shock shooting up my arm, with numbness and tingling for the following 30 days after. I've received many blood draws and it is only at Quest where they struck a nerve, not once but twice consecutively in a row. Avoid this facility, and to be honest, avoid all Quest Diagnostic labs generally. read more

it's not the Roslyn location, it's the website. I can't access the website on my iPad any more. Then I switched to my laptop and still couldn't access the website to make an appointmen. I guess I'll use the very outmoded means of communication known as the telephone. Terrible website, very user unfriendly. it used be much better where you saw when appts were available, not just that week. read more

The staff very friendly , the office was clean, the wait was about an hour on a Thursday, plenty of parking in the lot , but the fact that the Phlebotomist had to stop in the middle of a needle being in my arm to talk about what he's ordering for lunch and what his co-worker is ordering for lunch and still holding the needle in my arm when it should of been pulled out , they get 3 stars. read more

From the moment we arrived at the lab, Stella was extremely rude and unprofessional. We were refused service because paperwork was incomplete by our DOCTOR (not myself). Rather than helping us solve the problem, she left the exam room. Another staff member was kind enough to come and help us. After our paperwork was sorted out, Stella returned to the exam room. Where she had her back to me as she spoke and asked us questions. Rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately, because of Stella I will not recommend this lab or return. read more

Made an appt for 8:20 am - was not seen until 9:30 am for routine blood draw. People in the waiting room were getting agitated for the long wait. When I was called in, the technician was almost in tears and frustrated. Probably from people complaining. She said that she couldn't do this job anymore day after day etc. and just complained to me the whole time. She took my blood which was fine and I was on my way. I get a call at 3:12 PM from same woman that they need to do another blood draw and I need to come back preferably before my other blood was picked up. What? I believe she didn't take the right amount of bloodwork. She said call her back - I called - there's no answer and the mailbox hasn't been set up to leave a message. I went on website and the place closes at 3:00 PM. Why did she call me at 3:12 PM than? I would rather start over if I have to - with my blood work than to go back here. It was not a good experience and a waste of my time. Avoid this Quest if you can. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. The experience was horrible every step of the way and marked by a rude attitude, laziness, and incompetence. My daughter's doctor sent them three prescriptions because they kept claiming they hadn't received it, causing a delay of one week in her testing. The individual who answered the phone was hostile and yelled at us and inexplicably hung up the phone three times on us, when we insisted that they must have the prescription. Finally, someone else picked up the phone and told us it was probably a glitch in their electronic system. We then called the doctors office who told us the prescription was sent via fax; and they had a confirmation fax that it was received. We then proceeded to call back again Quest Labs. The same rude individual who initially picked up told us they didn't have it. We insisted they check again. Sure enough, they had it but couldn't be bothered to look for it. No apology ensued just more rudeness and a false claim that they couldn't see her that day, as they closed at 2:00 and the waiting room was reportedly packed. He instructed us to go online and make the appointment for the next day they were open, refusing to "squeeze us in", due to their multiple errors causing unnecessary delays in scheduling. It was 1:00pm at the time of the phone call. My daughter checked three subsequent dates. All were fully booked. We called to make the rude individual aware of this; and we were told there was nothing he could do. He proceeded to hang up in us again. Since Quest Is located literally directly behind our home, we decided to stop by and try our luck. We got there to find the waiting room empty except with one individual who was a walk-in!! We signed in and complained to the manager telling her what transpired between us and the other Quest employee. She responded with indifference. My daughter was able to be seen within five-ten minutes. We called the corporate hotline displayed on their wall to make them aware of the inexcusable behavior going on at this location. The woman who answered the phone was pleasant and empathic. Yet, she guaranteed me that I would receive a phone call back from a manager that Friday. It's been three weeks and no phone call. More importantly, my daughter's doctor's never received the results of her blood work, despite calling the lab three times!! My daughter ended up going to another lab with no incident and got the results back expediently.Moral of the story: Avoid Quest Diagnostic in Roslyn like the plague. They failed on all accounts and made a simple task ridiculously stressful. read more

The most incompetent, unprofessional lab I have ever been to. They also ask for your credit card information and I don't believe that is legal when they have your insurance information. Very poorly run, staffed with inexperienced people. Horrible experience. Walked out and went to Northwell lab, which is run like a well oiled machine. read more
