Worst experience waiting in existence. Showed up an hour before my appointment to be greater with a machine and an empty waiting room. People checking in an hour later still get called even before your scheduled time. The staff is rude and noncoherent to anyone with disabilities in the waiting room, and also NOT ADA compliant. Older people with wheelchairs can not open the doors, get upset, and leave, missing their doctor's assigned appointments. While I was waiting, other doctors and nurses who were doing drop-offs with expiring samples complained. I was told to wait further after being assigned someone who had not signed off on processing my lab. patients with later appointment times called bedoreme after I was told I was next in line due to being assigned the wrong "Specialist". read more

This was a procedural work related appointment and I had no choice of location otherwise I would heeded the extensive negative reviews regarding the service at this location and gone elsewhere. From the time my name was called I was treated with a lack of respect when the nurse (Edith) called out 'Danielle' when my name is 'Daniel'. Not trying to sound petty but perhaps she should exercise a little care in something as simple as calling a patient's name for multiple reasons. When I politely corrected her/repeated 'Daniel'? to make sure it was me that was up, she gave me an extremely nasty attitude and barked at, "Go in # One!" (Room One). At this time I asked what the problem was and why I was being given attitude. She continued with the same attitude and stated nothing was wrong. I asked for another nurse. I'm not having someone with that AWFUL bedside manner poke me with a needle/draw my blood. The other nurse (Arlene) was very polite and kind. It's how the first should have behaved and should be the standard for anyone in healthcare. I hope their directors see this and address with their staff appropriately. I asked for the name of whomever is in charge of this location and I was told Edith! I was given a card for another nurse at a different location whom they insinuated was in charge but I will do my own investigating to find the right person that should hear about this experience first hand. Horrible experience. Staff was rude and not compassionate at all. They had an attitude and they were not accommodating for someone with severe anxiety. They spoke to me like I was an absolute idiot. They made me feel horrible for wanting someone with experience. I left because there was no way I would trust anyone them with a needle. read more

I'd like to give them 6 stars if I could. Friendly,courteous and efficient to say the least. Have a Quest lab less than one-half mile from my home. After a series of disappointments there I finally just gave up and drove the 10 miles to Plant City. Glad I did. Highly recommend. read more

I experienced the worst treatment I've ever seen in a healthcare setting at Quest in Plant City, Fla today, 1/17/23. 1) the computer said I didnt have an appointment. I had an appointment, a confirmation code, and a QR code and the employee told me there was nothing she could do to take me and walked away without resolving the problem. I asked another employee who reluctantly listened to me and showed my QR code for an appointment. 2) I had a stat order electronically sent from my doctors office for labs 3) the tech took a paper order I had in my hands away from me that was NOT for today's test. It was for a future test. The more I tried to explain that the stat order could be found online sent directly to quest, the more she shouted to me: "stop trying to tell me how to do my job." I tried to explain to her I was giving her information she needed and she kept repeating "stop trying to tell me how to do my job". She rolled her eyes at me and groaned and shook her head in disgust at me. I asked for a supervisor and she gave me a name but wouldn't call that person. I was terrified to let her take my labs. She was combative, rude, and hostile. She seemed to be very irritated that I was even talking at all. I told her I was a hard stick as it often takes a guided ultra sound to get blood from me but I let her try. She jerked the rubber band around my arm and was very demanding in how I was to hold my arm. I've had labs all my life and I've never had a problem with such an abusive employee. Another employee came in and gave me a fake phone number because I asked to speak to a supervisor. When I called the number it wasn't for anyone at quest. It was the wrong number. There is absolutely no accountability for employees at quest. They can be as mean as they want to patients. There is no remediation, correction, training, or leadership on the premises. I was in tears by the time I left as there was no one to stand up for patients. I didn't get the labs for the electronically sent stat order. They said I could not ask for another test to rectify the situation for my doctor. I had no idea that an employee could take a paper away from me directly that wasn't even to be used today! I felt violated. Never go to this lab without a witness with you at all times. read more

I just spent 20 minutes calling the Plant City FL Office to ask a very simple question that the automated system could not answer and the answer was not anywhere on the website, so I am "out of luck", (was hard not to write curse words there). I called about 5 times and tried every possible "please select number" option on the phone multiple times (waiting at least 1/2 hour between tries). I cannot proceed with them without an answer to a very simple question so now I need to go to another lab completely. I see in most of the bad reviews their response is: "We are sorry for your experience, we will forward your concerns to our management for consideration". So they tell you they will do that (how damn patronizing is that) and NEVER GET BACK TO YOU AND DO NOT FIX VALID COMPLAINTS. Am kinda glad I am going elsewhere, if they are so cheap as to not enable speaking to a human, what other "shortcuts" do they take relative to the services they provide (or, in this case, do not provide)? To summarize: "We'll let management know but will not do anything to help you and solve your problem", even though it is a valid / fixable if they spent 2 minutes problem. Sign of the times we live in I suppose: "Sorry I am a recording and cannot fix your issue, good bye, have a nice day" Patronizing / phony as all hell. read more

Let me start by saying the people that helped me today were great. That is only part of the experience. So why only a 1 star? Because when I tried to remove the small bandage of cotton and tape the tape was so cheap and sticky it hurt like hell removing it. I guarantee some pencil pushing executive more concerned about saving a penny instead of a customer sourced this crap. Medical care doesn't have to be painful, unless someone puts profit over patients. The next tests I will try LabCorp or my doctor's office. Ridiculous. read more

I was greeted in a kind and courteous manner and check in was quick and easy. The waiting room was clean and well spaced for social distancing. Everyone is required to wear a mask which is a good thing except it makes it difficult for hearing impared patients. This is where my trouble began. When I was called back to the lab, my lab tech began talking to me quickly and in an unclear voice. I tried to explain my hearing impairment but was cut off. She continued to yell "Insurance Card" but I couldn't understand what she was saying. After four times, she snatched the test papers and furiously wrote on the back "Insurance Card." I said thank you and produced the card. I feel she became even more annoyed and she made me feel very uncomfortable during the visit. She acted in a very hostile, angry and rude manner during the entire visit. Everything she said was clipped and one word, never an explanation. She then sent me out and didn't even finish the appointment. She had to call me to return when she realized she didn't finish. Worse, upon leaving, I asked another nurse for her name. The nurse didn't want to tell me. That is also rude and unprofessional. Finally she told me her name was either Danisha or Tanisha. I treat everyone I meet with respect and expect the same treatment in return. No one deserves to be treated rudely when going to this facility. read more
