Trying to get your results is impossible. I did the test on my own. No doctor. You would think that I wasn't me. It took over a week to finally get the results. I even went back to try yo get them. Answer "I only work here". I don't give out results. Sucks read more

As a single father, I shouldn't be yelled at for bringing my child, especially when my reservation or email didn't say I couldn't. The front desk staff was confrontational and should speak with HR. Where else am I supposed to take my child just to submit a urine sample? I finally told them my child could sit with my phone and be fine. The nurse who assisted me was great--10/10--but overall, the experience was uncomfortable. read more

This review is in regards to how ridiculous it is to get through to someone via phone call. Been on the phone all morning hoping to reach someone. anyone. Just needed to ask someone if they can complete a chest CT scan but that seems to be an unreasonable request. The testing and other operations here seem fine, my wife comes here for blood tests quite regularly as does my father, but being unable to speak with anyone for general inquiries is down right criminal. Although i was unsure about the low ratings here, after today, I totally get it. Please quest! hire more receptionist, get better phone systems or obtain a contract with a call center in india, because I'm way too busy for this nonsense. read more

The young woman at Quest-Olney could not have been more patient with me when I had to leave and come back. (I forgot my doc's order, duh). She was very friendly, fun and professional. As patients, we do not want to be there, but when you have people like her as your employees, it makes the experience downright pleasant. read more

She worked with me and nailed it with a very painless butterfly needle in my hand of all places I normally hate. She was very polite and professional, the office was clean! My folks' doctor (who does not do his own tests) is in the same building and their insurance will not cover other labs so we have been relatively frequent visitors to this Quest office. Overall, tests are done as needed and (apparently) with a good degree of accuracy; sign-in (at least pre-COVID) is fairly straightforward and wait times have been reasonable. That said, we have had to get used to there being no one available to answer a question without having to do some searching (and occasional calling out for someone at the "reception" window up front), or waiting until being called back for a blood draw or urine sample. Getting hold of someone via phone ranges from a mildly drawn-out process to downright impossible, and there have been numerous times (both pre- and post-COVID) when the door has apparently been locked as much as 10-15 minutes before the posted office hours have ended. (I understand the need to close at the end of a shift, but I have worked plenty of different jobs -- including in healthcare -- where even senior staff accept the fact that one does not shut down early and that an extra 1-2 minutes to answer a question or accept an *expected* sample drop-off is just part of the daily routine.) My most recent experience is ongoing as I type this. I stopped at the office Monday to drop off a urine sample for my father after his physician had called in the test order directly to Quest. I knocked on the (locked) door several times and loudly rattled the door handle several times, finally giving up and walking away slightly more than 10 minutes *before* the posted closing time. This morning, my mother called and was repeatedly shunted from one automated system to another with no way to reach a human being to double-check that it was still OK to drop off a fresh urine sample, and at the moment I am preparing for my own 2nd attempt at getting through the digital gatekeepers. This office needs more staffing, and someone in the company needs to periodically check the phone systems to ensure they do simply redirect callers through a repeating loop. read more

This place has poor reviews and I'm not sure why. I've always had a short wait time , even when being a walk in. I'm a wimp when it comes to getting my blood drawn, and all the Phlebotomists have Been kind and very caring. I'd recommend this location for ease of visit and good bedside manner. read more

I have only had terrible experiences at this Quest lab in Olney. I've been admonished for having 'hard to find' veins for lab draws. (I'm sorry but you're a phlebotomist- isn't this your job??). I'm in healthcare and draw blood from patients all the time. I could see a great AC vein on my arm even without a tourniquet. I was so bruised from that experience it was embarrassing to wear a short-sleeve shirt afterwards. I once had to get a time sensitive test so I made an appointment at 7am. When did the office actually open? The technician didn't show up until 7:18am. I had to get to work and was late because of this. Their lobby doesn't have the screen working to let you know how many people are being serviced, especially if you want to see how long it might be as a walk in. Spare yourself a lot of trouble and don't go here. I just went to the Quest lab in Columbia Medical Center. In and out in 12 minutes. The phlebotomist was quick and efficient. Even though it's only 8 minutes from my home, I'm never bothering with the Olney Quest ever again. read more

Did the work they were asked to do. Basically professional, appreciated the sign in ease, and was seen within 10 minutes, despite being a random walk in, for lab tests ordered privately. Basement location, light traffic, workable, affiliated with a hospital system, midday hours. 3 stars for A-OK. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came here to get my daughters first blood work done and if the anxiety of getting this done wasn't enough, let's add a staff member who cursed in front of my one year old daughter on top of that. I understand that taking blood from a baby is difficult because of their veins but this person was so unprofessional and has clearly not dealt with babies before. He was the only person that was there today so management needs to either put someone qualified to be able to get the work done for all ages or have two staff members at all times. Never coming back to this place again and parents, I highly recommend not bringing your children here. read more

Another 5 star experience at Quest Diagnostics in Olney. I didn't have an appointment (because the online schedule showed only a late-day opening) but I was the second person seen and no one else had an appointment either. Michael, the phlebotomist, was totally efficient, professional and kind. I have been to this location multiple times and have only had 5-star experiences. It is convenient, clean, the sign-in is easy, and staff are excellent. read more

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I went in because my GPS told me that there was a Lab Corp in the same building, but I didn't see it on the sign and that's where my doctor was sending me. I walked in to the office and there was no one to be seen. I didn't sign in because I just wanted to ask them if they knew where the Lab Corp was. I stood there for a few minutes and no one came up. So I said hello to see if anyone was in the back. No one said anything or cake to the front. I then called them to see if they would answer the phone from the back so I could tell them I was up there. No answer while the phone rang. Then I knocked on the counter and said hello louder and finally after 10 minutes someone came up and he was the rudest person I've ever encountered. He automatically with a huge snarky attitude asked if I signed in. I said no because I just had a question. He then started saying he was in the back doing blah blah blah and that's why you are supposed to sign in and he was so rude. I'm glad that's not the place I had to get my lab work done, because I would have waited for another day just to not have him do it. Not professional at all. read more
