I can easily see available appointments across their many locations, book the appointment, and when ready I can quickly see my results that includes easy to understand information so I know what they mean. I needed to have blood work before an upcoming procedure and I was going to use a different location but I waited until the last minute and was only able to get an appointment here. This location is located in the Northridge shopping plaza on the corner of Commercial Blvd and Dixie Hwy. There are a lot of restaurants and shops in the plaza along with a Publix if you need a drink or food after your appointment. The morning of my appointment I received the link to check in when I arrived. It wasn't even 5 minutes after checking in that I was taken back. I had my blood drawn on one take even though I have notoriously hard to find veins and there was only a very small bruise. Everything was handled quickly and professionally and I was on my way. For the best possible experience bring your lab orders from your doctor and book your appointment ahead of time to avoid long wait times at the centers. Had such a great experience here this morning, which for Quest is a rare occurrence. Tons of parking, zero issues checking-in for my appointment, very clean location, and Tenisha, the tech, was WONDERFUL. I'm a fainter and have had techs in the past who seemed inconvenienced (and frankly were so rude) when I asked for a room with a reclining chair, but Tenisha showed up with so much care, patience, experience, and a great attitude. So glad I chose this location (based on past reviews) and not the one on 17th Street, even though it meant driving an extra 20 mins to get to Oakland Park. read more

This was a terrible experience. The phlebotomist (a woman with dreadlocks) caused my vein to collapse during a routine blood draw. My arm started bleeding heavily and I felt shaky and weak afterward. Even the blood in the tube didn't look normal. I'm deeply concerned about the quality of care and the lack of proper technique at this location. Dear Quest, I had an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience at this Quest location. Quest does not even offer the basic service of having someone at the front desk, which is completely unacceptable. When an employee finally came out, I was rudely told I had to sign in and go through additional steps--despite being informed beforehand that I could simply drop off my sample. The waiting area was overcrowded, and instead of assisting me, the employee abruptly slammed the door in my face. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable. People come to Quest because they are dealing with health concerns, not to be met with attitude and indifference. If employees don't want to do their jobs with basic professionalism and respect, they shouldn't be working in healthcare. Quest, do better. Your patients deserve it. When I arrived early for my appointment, the check-in process at the kiosk took me seconds. The waiting room was clean and they were very few other patients waiting. I was called in less than five minutes, and for the actual blood draw, it took less than two minutes from confirming my info to grabbing the blood to putting the Band-Aid on. I had an appointment scheduled, yet I waited over 2 hours to be seen. This was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had with any service. It felt like my time and effort to schedule in advance didn't matter at all. Very disappointing and unprofessional. I asked questions to clarify certain procedures and guidelines for example, whether I needed to check in before dropping off a blood and urine test but the representative was unhelpful and dismissive. The customer service was horrible, with a rude and unprofessional demeanor. I definitely will not be coming back to this office. read more

I have always had a great experience at this Quest. Today I showed up without an appointment at 6am and signed in easily on the iPad they have set up. Within 10 minutes they called my name. Today I was treated by Inger. She was patient, detail oriented and drew blood quickly and on the first try. But this is not my first great experience there. Usually I'm very impressed. Not sure where these negative reviews come from. I believe the team there works hard to extract blood as painlessly as possible...they also take time to get orders entered accurately. One last thing. Anyone coming to this location or anywhere else where there are people working in close proximity with patients should respect the need for masking. During June and July 2022 COVID has been spreading like wildfire. No, it typically won't kill you but it's miserable to catch and is hugely inconvenient. Just got over a case and it was no picnic. I came here today for a very simple quick test. I checked in on their system as a walk-in and was put on the standby list. A very rude nurse with short hair with twists (I didn't see her name tag) came out and told me they weren't doing any more walk ins today, but then I watched her check some other guy in after me for standby. She then went into the computer and cancelled my standby and left his in! Right in front of me. No explanation, just a figurative "screw you, but he's ok". I came at 5:40 the line went around a pillar where I couldn't even see the front door clearly at first - I didn't have an appointment but I figured if I came 20 min before opening there would be nobody there (I was seriously wrong) All in all there were tons of people but what surprised me was that the ladies were super efficient at doing their job at the speed of light . She talked to me about her trip to Vegas that she's going to on my birthday when she saw my date of birth. This is my 3rd time at this location, and each time, I have had no complaints! In fact, I feel this is the best place for lab work. It is easy to check in on a computer kiosk with your name, phone number and birth date. I will say it is best to make an appointment, but walk ins are accepted everyday except Saturday, and they are closed on Sunday. I didn't have an appointment today, and I was there about 1 hour for routine lab work ordered by my doctor. I feel that is an acceptable wait time, as I expected to be there 2 hours. The facility is nice, clean, and staff is always friendly. I have never had a negative experience when my blood is drawn, snd I have somewhat difficult veins. I also love that my doctor usually gets my results quickly, sometimes within 24 hours. read more

I have a very big vein for her to have drawn blood from and I told her that when I saw her using the smaller vein next to the large one. She used the smaller one anyway. I saw my arm getting a hematoma and she said oh the tourniquet was too tight, leave the bandage on for 20 min. I have had ice on my arm all day and now I need an antibiotic. read more

This year Quest has been more terrible then usual- lots of people can't get appointments and yet some have no trouble which makes me think they've put a system in place to keep certain people out. I went in one Saturday an and they turned away 39 walk-ins (people who complained they couldn't make appointments including myself. You have to make appointments thru the website....some of questions seem triggered to automatically reject you so you can't continue. Something's just not right here, think this company should be investigated. read more
