I just left the 8035 Harford road ste b 21206 location for a routine wellness check up for work. I go here EVERY year and have NEVER had an issue with service or their promptness. However, I have just been treated with the worst service I have ever had in life. Typically I am a very patient person despite any wait time, because I too work in customer service and understand at times, staffing is low. However, when I arrived for my appointment, at 12:58 the doors were closed and the people waiting let me know that staff was out at lunch. At 1:00, a staff member opened the doors and immediately told the woman ahead of me to go the back. I signed my name on the list and waited at the window for an associate. The staff member came from the back and asked if I needed assistance. I informed her if she was alone because I had an appointment. She confirmed she was alone and she would be with me shortly. at 1:12 two women walked in and one immediately called my name and told me to go to the back, I assumed she must've been told I had an appointment. She asked another woman to take my vitals. The woman taking my vitals asked me follow her and to get on the scale. When I got on the scale the first woman who opened the doors at 1:00 apologized for the wait. I told her no problem. However the woman taking my vitals said "Well it was only a couple of minutes." That made me very upset. First off, I waited nearly 15 minutes to be seen and that's what I explained. I told her, that "I had an appointment so that I would not have to wait and to say that it was merely a couple of minutes is unacceptable." She proceeded to tell me, that I was wrong for thinking that an appointment meant I should be seen on time. "Whenever you go to ANY business you can't expect to be seen exactly during your appointment time." She went on and accused me of yelling at her and said that she was not going to continue to help me. At that point did begin to yell, naturally as I noticed she was the one yelling. I told her to get someone else to assist me and/or a manager, really I just wanted anyone with some professionalism to help me. She mentioned she was the manager, all while two other ladies came in and attempted to calm the situation. Ms. Ebony decided to take over as she could see the situation was only getting worst. Tammy Wells (the woman yelling/the manager) walked passed me and slapped a posted that had my vitals on the chair in which I was sitting. I then stated "Wow, and this is the manager?" She said "YES, and I get off work at...(I do not remember the time)." I told her, she did not have to disclose this information, because I was not going to fight her, I am an adult. I normally don't take the time out to express dissatisfaction with service, but I decided to today because this situation escalated quickly due to Ms. Tammy Wells unprofessionalism. To her point that I should not expect to receive service when I have an appointment, Quest is the first and ONLY business that I have been to that see's things this way. And even if this is the case, as your customer, do I not deserve an apology or "thank you for waiting?" I by all means do not wish Ms. Wells termination in her career, but I do think she needs some coaching in customer satisfaction. I am not a person of confrontation, no am I a mean person. But I do expect to get treated fairly. Had me Wells, actually put her hands on me, she would serve as a big liability to the company she works for. I am extremely unsatisfied and will let everyone know of my experience. So upset that I had to reschedule my appointment because my blood pressure was through the roof. Ms. Ebony was very professional, very polite and apologetic for everything, a much better representation of Quest. read more
