They get busy and the waiting room is full at peak hours. The Breast CA doctor who reads mammograms and performs ultrasounds (sorry can't remember your name) is absolutely lovely. She speaks Spanish beautifully and her bedside manner is superb. I call her my guardian angel because you just don't find doctors like her these days. I've also had X-rays, ultrasounds and MRIs here and will keep returning.

Parking was free and easy as was the check-in process. My testing started promptly on time and ended quickly. The facility was clean and organized. The tech who worked with me was delightful! I went home with tons of new Mediterranean restaurants to try. Loved my conversations with her. It made my otherwise invasive testing process feel more pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this location for any imaging needs in the future. It's a lot better than the Bethesda one by a large margin even with the drive.

For the receptionist to call me and tell me i read the order wrong to her and o was scheduled for the wrong test when in fact she copied the order while i was standing there. Then i get rescheduled and i told the office manager who she transferred me to thaf i was not happy as i had rescheduled other appointments to the afternoon. And that i would be there at the new scheduled time. Not once in the conversation with either was it mentioned that my appointment was canceled. I went in person, on a guy feeling to confirm the appointment. I then learned i dont have an appointment. So the communication between staff and patient stinks. It was never like this before. I get the appointment being cancelled. But at least be honest about it and not give aome bs reason about rescheduling. If i could give negative stars i would.

I was…read moreabsolutely berated by the technician Cathy/Kathy that was doing the mammogram, to the point that I left sobbing. I have never been treated so poorly at a medical office. I already followed up with the Office Manager and voiced my concerns, and she was responsive and understanding. A few details: I called a week before my appointment to have 2 accounts(married/maiden name) merged and that didn't happen/didn't show on Cathy's end so she didn't see my prior imaging. Besides that, she told me they will refuse to read my imaging since I didn't have them sent over *before* my mammogram, which is not true per the office manager. She also told me it was my responsibility to get all of my imaging sent over when that is actually dependent upon what Advanced Radiology has access to, and what they don't. I was going to just avoid having the same technician again but after talking with friends about positive experiences elsewhere, I will just try a different imaging center. The fact that she is mentioned in another review with concerns is very telling.

The second person had to ask all over again. Got personal about my health issues. When I inquired why they were usurping doctor's orders they again talked about coding. It took nearly 40 minutes to schedule an ultra sound for 2 areas. One test is NPO the other I drink 32 oz. That took 5 minutes to confirm that npo and 32 oz did not conflict. Unfortunately they have a near monopoly.

I haven't been to Advanced in years and have a $0 balance with them. They asked me for my ID and Insurance Card and made copies. Then told me the Ultrasound I was having would leave an "estimated" $143 left to be paid after Insurance and how was I going to be paying that today. I told her I have $0 copay and my Cigna was an 80/20 plan and I get an EOB (explanation of benefits) after it's processed and I'll pay the balance. She said even though it wasn't processed yet and the scan wasn't even done yet I would have to pay the estimated responsibility. I said I get paid tomorrow can I pay half today $72 and the other half tomorrow. "No, absolutely not, You have to pay the full balance and if insurance covers more of the procedure we'll credit you back the difference". I said you guys can't work with me at all? She said "yes, you can apply for Care Credit card to use". So I cancelled and left. Now they are texting and emailing me several times a day about rescheduling. Advanced Radiology is complete sh*t show, their front desk staff is rude, they are NOT patient friendly. They will not work with you and don't care at all about the people coming to see them. When I called to talk to them about what happened I spoke with women in Pakistan that barely knew English. I was transferred twice and they didn't understand what I was telling them. One said the $143 was my copay. I told her my card said I have $0 copay. Please do yourself a favor, if you need imaging done, stay away from Advanced Radiology, especially the one at Franklin Square, they are beyond awful.

After looking, I was told no one could take him until 8 days later. Plus, I got the impression it was "take it or leave it". After searching my phone I found Chesapeake Imaging and called. They told me the White Marsh facility could see him that day...could I get there by a certain time. Yes, I could. They were WONDERFUL!!!. Great attitude and good treatment. As a matter of fact, I was told that any time it was a STAT order they will stay to help. How refreshing. I know this is long but I was in a panic. My husband has had some strokes and another was suspected. The doctor needed the information now. I was told it would be 30 mins long and to come in a few minutes early to fill out paperwork. The time is 2:30pm having left my job to come here on my lunch break - arriving 10 minutes early at 1:50pm. I am being told it will be another 10 mins before they can begin the scan. Had I know it would be nearly an hour before starting what should have started a whole lunch break, I would have chosen any other location but this one. Good thing they weren't busy today. Who knows what this place might look like with another person before me.

This office is located inside a medical building that is attached to a hospital. They provide…read moreradiologic services. I was able to walk right in for an X-ray with no wait time which was awesome! The front desk staff answered all my questions and was so nice. After getting checked in I was seen within 2 minutes for an X-ray and the guy doing the X-ray was professional and fast. I was able to make an account online for the patient portal and saw my X-ray images immediately after they were complete, and once the report is finished it will be uploaded to the portal for me to view. When you go into the medical building there is an attendant sitting at a small desk willing to help if you aren't sure where to go.
