When I entered the waiting room it was filled to capacity with people waiting to be seen. Fortunately, I had an appointment (June 22nd at 12:15.) The staff was very proactive in taking me ahead of the many walk-ins. (I felt the pain of those waiting without appointments.) This facility needs a larger waiting area and more bays for blood draws. The staff are under a lot of pressure to handle the number of people who use this facility. They need help! But through all the pressure both the woman who processed my paperwork and the woman who drew the blood were friendly, efficient and professional. Sorry I do not know their names but the day and time of my appointment should help Lab Corp identify the staff who assisted me. Thank you to those ladies! I hope they will be aware of this review. Let me start off by saying I really like the people working there. They are all very nice. My phlebotomist was funny and was talking about her day. But i noticed it when she stuck me for my lab work it wasn't the typical amount of time. It was super fast and a painful jab. I took a pic of my arm after 6 days. The bruise was worse on the first couple of days. I normally never bruise so I was really thrown off. I can't say I would be coming back even though everyone is super nice. I rather not get jabbed like that again. So sad. read more

Unprofessional and lack of communication. Just an overall a shady ass place. Their incompetence cost me over $1k out of my own pocket when I have insurance to cover 50%. This is my first time dealing with this type of procedure so, I'm unaware and confused about a lot of things that goes along with it and I depended on the guidance from the so called professionals thinking I was in good hands and now I gotta pull out $ out of my ass to pay for THEIR mistake. I've been patient and willing to be flexible as much possible when it came down to solving the issue. For 3 months it was ME that reached out to make attempts to fix the issue. Never did I get a call or an email from them and yet they want to threaten me to go to the authorities if I don't pay the amount they arrogantly demand. A fucking student who already has other bills that I have to handle on my own they couldn't agree with the amount I could afford to pay. I only went through with the procedure because my insurance can cover but thanks to them misinforming me about the date they unfortunately can't. They expect magic tricks for me to come up with their money. Why demand a certain amount when you don't make any efforts to reach out to me about it? It's funny how everyone who is responsible and in charge of taking care of finance is always away on a trip or out. It must really not be that urgent. I had an appointment with them yesterday to get 28 blood tests done. They took a look at my sheet for 2 seconds and told me "that they didn't have one of the rest that I needed" and sent me to a different location. They where to lazy to even look to see if the other location they where sending me to had the test I needed. read more

Wow!!! What a difference I come here regularly for blood work and the prior staff was absolutely the worst of the worst. They were rude and ignorant. Now it is a pleasure going here. I come to this location in a regular for all my blood work without any issues until this visit when I finally made an appointment in which my paperwork was faxed and emailed to the main office of Labcorp but I was told they didn't received same from they main office of Labcorp and I was asked to call to have them resend it in which I did twice and I was advised by the main office personnel I shouldn't be calling it should be them. I am really unhappy with my visit at this lab. It is cluttered and not patient friendly at all. My appoint me for a blood draw was at 8:15 and I left there at 9. There is no kindness toward patients. When I told the phlebotomist that she was hurting me with the contriction band, she said that it's the way she does it with everyone else and she's never had any complaints, which made me feel like I should not speak up when I sense something is wrong. The experience left me feeling degraded and I won't return to that location. I hope that other locations do not have this same attitude. read more

Horrible. Stood where it said to check in for 5 mins, two women behind the counter. I am the only one waiting on this place. woman looked up and said "can I help you?" In a sassy tone. I explained what I needed and she said "we do all urine samples here? check in." In a sassy tone. The door to the place says they don't do specific urine samples, so I was just making sure mine was valid. Can't believe people can be so rude at their job and get away with it. read more

The workers at this location is a joke. Ignorant and as lazy as they come. I attempted a walk-in appointment, registered at the kiosk at 11:20 am. The kiosk indicated the next appointment would be at 1:50 pm. So I asked the "registrar" do I have to have an appointment as a walk in and she indicated, yes! I said are you that busy? She said, no. So I said, is there any reason you can't take me now? She says, at the next available time indicated on the kiosk. So I replied, please remove me from your system. What's your last name? She never even looked up. There was a phlebotomist right behind her nodding her head. How in the hell is Labcorp continuing to put up with these employees. Especially after all the negative feedback I've read from this location. These women have been there for some time now. I can assure you this will be my last visit to this location. I hope for the public sake they wont be employed there much longer. read more

Poorly run facility-I'm not sure if it's the management or the employees. However, I will no longer be going to this location and will be going to the location in Bel Air instead. Appointments run very late and the staff have been occasionally rude both at the front desk and in the back. I had gone there approximately 5 times since I moved here about 8 months ago. I understand that their jobs can be very stressful and that even fellow patients can be rude. However, that doesn't mean that you as an employee should be rude as well. Today my husband had the brilliant idea that I should go to the Bel Air location and that's what I did. Bel Air is much better than White Marsh so if you can go to another location I highly recommend Bel Air. read more

My first and last time at labcorp. It's extremely obvious that the employees just want to get people out as fast as possible so that they can go back to hanging out and playing on their cell phones. I've had my blood drawn at many places and this was easily the most brash, uncaring tech I have ever encountered. Did not ask how I do when giving blood, did not tell me when she was going to be sticking me, did not ask a single time if I was feeling okay despite the fact that I am a very small girl and prone to passing out. The second she finished she said "have a good day" and ushered me out. Did not even let me sit for a minute to make sure I was feeling alright. What a horrible experience! I will never visit this location again. The woman who took my blood sample was unbelievably rude from the moment she finally acknowledged my presence (after 10 minutes of ignoring me) until I left the place. She mumbled everything she said to the point where I simply gave up asking her to repeat herself. I just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. Look, I understand having a bad day but this was not that. This woman clearly hates her job and really should find a profession in which she never interacts with human beings. It was fast and efficient. But the staff wasn't very friendly or engaging. they mostly talked to each other while running my paper work. When the front desk lady asked me questions, it was almost whispered and I couldn't tell if she was speaking to me or her co-worker, who was playing on her cell phone the majority of the time. She only made eye contact and spoke clearly when i asked her to repeat herself... which I had to do repeatedly. Perhaps they were bored, tired, or just not very customer-friendly. This was my first and last visit to the Labcorp at 8114 Sandpiper Circle in White Marsh, MD. No greeting upon arriving..not informed that you must "check in" at the kiosk. When I was called back, woman at the desk was unpleasant to say the least; but that was not the worst if it. I was directed to room # 1. A woman came in....no acknowledgement of my presence...did something on the printer..left room. Another woman came in, did not introduce herself..said..."verify name and birthdate". I did. Next thing out of her mouth.."which arm". No concern shown if I was okay with blood draw. Pulled off the constrictor, put gauze on vein...said "hold it". I did...taped down. I was disgusted with her attitude, so I left as soon as she was done. As soon as I got into the hallway, I noticed blood running down my arm and subsequently onto my clothing. I have had blood drawn every six months for the past 14 years and have never experienced that amount of bleeding...outrageous!!! I am sure that she knew how much my arm was bleeding, but didn't care. I have never been treated so disrespectfully and unprofessionally. I will NEVER again have my blood drawn at Labcorp!!! This happened to me on Tues., 8/13/19 @ 11:25 am. I called in a complaint to Labcorp on Weds., 8/14/19 @ 3:45 pm spoke to Brittany. She told me that she would open an investigation and that I would be hearing from the Supervisor of that facility within 24-48 hours and that my complaint would be forwarded to the Regional Director in charge of that location....needless to say, I have yet to receive a call back...not surprised at all! I would advise anyone contemplating using Labcorp, that you should seriously reconsider unless and until the management and staff are replaced especially at the 8114 Sandpiper Circle location!!! I would strongly advise that you go to a different location than this one. My sons pediatric doctor sent us here. The tech was rude. She talked really fast and missed my sons vein and confronted me and him by saying that he did not drink enough water. Then she stuck his other arm and there was no problem obtaining the blood because he did drink enough water. Both of his arms hurt now and he was crying. I went back and told the dr's office and the receptionist apologized because she has heard really bad things about this location. I would have happily driven a few miles away if I had known.
