My mother go in for blood work and they wouldn't let her do it and she doesn't speak English so she offer them to talk to me on phone. They refuse to do that and kick her out. Now we don't even know what do she need to be able to get the lab work done and I make sure with the doctor that they fax order over so there shouldn't be a problem. My mother was waiting for half an hour to get check in and get kick out. read more

Had an appointment at 9 am. It is 10 am and I am still waiting in the lobby. What is the point of making appointment? Very disappointed. Why they gather all those people in there was a mystery for me. read more

Terrible. I made an appointment and arrived at my appointment time. The Check In computer couldn't find my appointment. There is no one at this location who will speak to a customer. The door to the lobby is locked, and no amount of knocking will entice an employee to come speak with a customer. I hate Quest, and I hate that they control this market in our area. There MUST be somewhere else we can get blood drawn; someplace where they understand Customer Service!! read more

Linette was absolutely outstanding, followed by Daisy. If it weren't for Linette, I'd still be waiting to have my blood drawn. Dr's office today me a few months ago that the orders were uploaded, don't worry. Come to get blood drawn, nope. Had Dr's office fax orders. They faxed blank pages with no codes or what was needed. During this interim, I called and asked to fax again. 10-15 minutes go by, and both times I had given fax # to Dr office. 2nd time still no fax. Now we call. Must've bn on the phone for a good 10 minutes, then when the info still wasn't able to be had (couldn't get it/ orders emailed from hospital link) we were on the phone again waiting for another 10-15 minutes. This all took yet another half an hour. If Linette wasn't on the phone for that half hour trying to get the orders, I'd have walked out and canceled appointment with Dr office. It was of no fault of Quest Diagnostic. read more

Staff are very inconsiderate and demanding. Hour past the appointment and still being told to wait in the hall way because of covid restrictions but mind you there are 25 people waiting in the hallway don't see how that would protect us this is what happens when your choices are limited and to contact the manger you get something un legible read more

I don't like having to write bad reviews but today was the worst experience with a Quest location. First and foremost- I made an appointment for today, arrived early, and was immediately told it would be a 45 minute wait. After waiting 5 minutes, a customer ended up leaving because she had waited one hour. I decided to stick it out and give them the benefit of the doubt. 45 minutes later, I checked in with the front desk to get an update, and she told me another 30 minutes, then began to lecture me on why its my health is more important than my time, etc etc. Though I agree health is important, I also have a job that pays for said "health" appointments/doctors visits and waiting for 75 minutes to get blood drawn isn't exactly practical or something more people have time to do. To boot their website stated it was a 5 minute wait time for walk ins, so clearly not accurate. But more importantly- to lecture me about my health is just maddening and inappropriate. read more

I don't understand what's wrong, but I've been waiting for my appointment for 30 minutes, a full room of people and no one says anything, it's not decent, you can go out and say what the problem is and reassure people. read more

I don't write reviews often but saw a decent amount of negative ones so I wanted to give my good experience! I was able to get an appointment day of and when I stepped into the office, it was clearly set up for social distance. There was a screen to tell me my wait time and it was pretty accurate to when they were ready to let me in. My doctor was SUPER friendly and made jokes to lighten the mood since getting blood taken isn't exactly fun. He was done very fast.. from being seen to when I left was..maybe 20-30 minutes? Which is the fastest experience I've ever had at a Quest! Would recommend :) read more

Waiting room full of people. 1 receptionist. 1 person handling lab work. Not awesome. The worst part is that they don't seem to have any sense of urgency whatsoever. Been waiting 50 minutes and don't seem any closer to getting called in. Note to self...Go to a different location. read more

This review is based on the service I received from Ms. Tomiko Cole (I think her last name was Cole...) Anyway, Tomiko is soooo good at what she does! I went in to have blood drawn and I BARELY even felt her insert the needle. She was professional, polite, thorough, and very pleasant to talk to, she put any nerves I had to ease. I will go back to this location just because of her. Thank you so much, Tomiko! read more

I was in and right out.. employees here are extremely friendly. I didn't even have an appointment, I was walk-in patient. The most I have waited was about 2 minutes.I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who needs their labs tests done. read more

The phlebotomist was great and I would give him 5 stars. But there was no social distance in the waiting room. Nothing was being cleaned or disinfected between patients. A guy in the waiting room kept coughing and another one was wearing the mask under his nose the whole time. It felt very unsafe. read more

Never a fun way to start a New Year, but an awesome staff makes it just a little easier. There was no Dr order in their system so they helped me to get the order faxed over, were never rude or dismissive. Tamiko, who was my Phlebotomist, and has drawn from my 10 year old son, is patient, kind & can draw blood pain free. As long as you have an appointment you are golden - come without one, be expected to wait! read more

I was referred by my doctor to Quest for a blood test. I am petite and have skinny hands. Phlebotomist attempted to draw blood using a thick needle and punctured my vein twice. I was left with a huge hematoma (dark stain) on my hand. On the third attempt, using a thin needle, he was able to complete a blood drawing. I would not return to this lab. read more

No one answers the phone to help, and when leaving a voice message no one calls back. My patients were turned away when they had the printed orders in hand and an appointment. Multiple phone calls and all went to voicemail, sometimes being sent to voicemail after just one ring. I unfortunately still need to work with them in the future, and have not had this experience at other sites. read more

It's been my second time here and both times I just wonder how this place can function like this. The biggest issue is that there is no front desk, just an ipad to check in. Well everyone who comes here has questions but there is no one to ask so when one of the staff members happens to open the locked door everyone rushed at them to ask their questions. The staff is very nice but obviously they are forced to do multiple jobs at once since there is no front staff... which leads to people being frustrated.. My second issue is that there are no bathrooms to give samples, you actually have to go all the way home and then come back, with some samples you have an hour to come back. But you don't know how long you will have to wait to actually talk to a person and drop your sample off so that is a very stressful and b just a huge waste of time and money. Last issue... it is impossible to call these places! No phone number that goes through. Again, please hire front staff so people are not lost, confused and at the verge of a nervous breakdown just to have a lab test done... this is just unnecessarily stressful for all people involved. Also they close at 4... not 4:30 like it says here read more

THE WORST- kept us waiting for an HOUR after our scheduled appointment- AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

If you are concerned about social distancing,do not go to this Quest. I had to go to quest for blood work for my physical. When I got there, the tiny waiting room was packed. Half the people wore masks, half did not. There was no staff monitoring, just a check in kiosk that everyone had to use. When it was my time to get my blood taken, the technician was great and did not take offense when I asked him to please change his gloves before my blood draw. I would absolutely not go here if you are worried about catching Covid 19. I have never written a negative review like this, but if it will protect even one person, I knew I had to do it. Actually, I was shocked. Be careful! read more

In a nut shell, had a flight for Hawaii on Saturday. Followed Hawaii instructions of having COVID test within 3 days. Quest website shows "1-2 days" for test results. Drove 1.5 hrs to Palm Dale and paid over $100 to Quest. 3 days later. NO RESULTS. The person I went with received his results at the airport 5 mins before departure. We missed our flight. Flight was moved to 4 pm...NO RESULTS. Called PWNHealth 888-362-4321, was told results take 3 working days not including the day you get the test. Called Quest 466-987-8378 discovered they are closed for the weekend. Again, Quest web site says 1-2 days, should have gotten it Friday. Either way, Monday would have put me out of the 3 day window required by Hawaii. Thank you QUEST for nothing!! read more

I went to this facility on Tuesday for blood work. The only thing right with it were the chairs 6 ft apart. I had an appointment at 10 am, signed in on their computer, after waiting till 10:30, I asked someone what's happening as people were going in and out. They said I never logged in, not true. Anyway, in all the time I'm sitting there, no one is wiping down the chairs were people were sitting or touching their computer sign in. This is a health facility people, I'm not there to get sick from this Coronavirus from other people touching things. I'm not even sure if the Tech were wiping down their rooms after drawing blood from each person, nasty read more

So the only reason I'm giving it a 4-star rating is because of Mrs. Tamiko Cook. She was so pleasant and nice. Other than that, I came in as a walk in, waited and out myself on the list to be called/texted that it was my turn. And that's because I had my service dog with me and didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable with him being inside. Long story short they called my name and didn't text or call me because I was not in the office. And instead of calling me and saying "hello, we're ready for you" and mind you when you check in it gives you this option to do this. Well after waiting a hour and then seeing I was 3rd in line which showed 2 mins left, then it went to 8 minutes left then 16. And so on. I did notice the people that checked in after me (also walk ins) were basically all gone. I had to basically wait until someone came to the door in order to complain. I was told I was "paused" in the queue. That's why I wasn't called again. But the only thing that made it better was Mrs. Tamiko telling me to bring my service dog in( which I complained about when I was waiting) and she got me in and out in less than 8 minutes after waiting a hour in a half. But other than that I would say make an appointment first because you might get paused and be waiting there for a long time. And we can never get time back. So yeah. read more

I liked this place, went there all the time. Was usually fast and clean, and the nurses were ok. Now was a 20' wait, not bad though. I was there today and there was a change I guess in the way they check u in, so they will ask you for your card and paperwork at the door, and take your fever. I get it, being cautious. But you used to be able to go in and sit, and then they asked u all that while you were seated, instead of having you standing at the door juggling ‍ your purse as you are trying to find the insurance card, the doctors order, answer questions while they take your fever, ALL at the SAME time, like you are some kind of prisoner before getting hosed up to go to your jail cell. Rude. I felt bad for the nurse Umleh was her name. She was scared. I could feel it. Fear is more contagious than Covid. And she was not happy with me asking her questions. But honestly she can be home collecting unemployment if she is afraid, because It sucks when you have health issues, (not contagious )to be treated like you are a leper. Cautious great. But fearful "everyone has covid " fearful, NO BUENO. read more

I was of course nervous after having read the reviews but to my surprise this place was clean, easy and quick. The waiting room must have been updated since some of the reviews cause the chairs were new. I had an appointment and was taken in right on time. There was no issue taking blood (they took 11 vials... fun time). Only thing I would say, is I was not greeted or acknowledged at the front desk and it took me a few minutes to realize you needed to sign in on the iPad. There was a woman behind the counter shifting through papers. She didn't give me the heads up. Anyway - I would just suggest adding a sheet at the front that says SIGN IN on iPad. read more

Check in is electronic so you have no idea what's going on behind the wall as no one comes out to greet you. I had to wait almost 20 minutes before I even saw anyone come out from other side where they took blood. Best to make appointment. Also limited parking if you can park on street you will save money especially if they are busy. Employees though are very nice, just need more. read more

Everyone in these reviews keeps talking about a Tamiko. I really wish she was there when I went to get blood drawn today. I had one of the most traumatic experiences of my life at this Quest Lab. I hate needles... always have... to the point where I can't even look at the blood being drawn and sometimes (ok, all of the time) I cry. To make my situation worse, I've also been told in the past that my veins are hard to find. I gave full disclosure to the phlebotomist before she drew blood. I thought she easily found a vein when I felt a prick. I was horrified to discover that she couldn't find it even though she had pricked me. She called another woman over who proceeded to unsuccessfully prick me twice in my other arm. Then a third woman was brought in and they finally drew blood from my wrist. By that point I was having a full blown panic attack and sobbing in front of complete strangers. They apologized and offered me water after. Still, it was so upsetting and unsettling to know that it took three people to draw my blood. I've never had this happen before at any other Quest. The nurses at other places had patience, found my vein and drew blood on the first try. This is my first and last time going to this location and the next time I do have to get blood work done, I'll have even more anxiety thanks to this horrible experience. Oh, and my left arm is REALLY sore. read more

My experience today was much better than back in February. Very organized sign in protocal and clean. Made an appt. online. Waited about 15 minutes and was taken back to have blood drawn. Umlesh, a sweet and professional lady, drew the blood and she is a real pro. Didn't feel a thing! I would definitely return. read more

it's suite 511 now Scheduling appointment online is so easy and hassle free. I parked on the street where there's 2 free hours. I walked in the office and scanned code that was emailed to me and I was called instantly. They follow all Covid social distancing, waiting room is clean. The phlebotomist Jay drew my blood and he was very fast, funny, compassionate, efficient, painless, very caring and has a really positive attitude. Thank you Jay! If I could give them 10 stars I would! Great staff and location. Stellar Service! read more

The girl was nice at first but made me nervous, I called her out and she got upset at me. I mean if you are going to prod my vein for like 3 minutes with the tourniquet on that makes me wonder about your abilities. I finally told her I had experience in this and that's when she was nice again. You can't have a patient with their tourniquet on for a while and she did. Maybe more training is needed? The lady I had before a few months back was good and experienced. This girl seemed freshly out of school made me super nervous since I have deep veins and had scar tissue in my veins from getting so much bloodwork. read more

Absolutely the best phlebotomists because it's quick and I have very terrible veins that the nurses in my doctors offices can't find. But here they just listen, find a vein where no one else could and they are done. Best to look away but honestly if it doesn't hurt me, it's not going to hurt you. I would give it no stars but that isn't an option. This is by far the worst quest I have ever stepped foot in. The service is awful, there is never anyone sitting at the front desk, their chairs are all dirty and stained. Very unsanitary. You can hear the phlebotomist conversation from the waiting room all personal about dating while patients are sitting there waiting. I would definitely recommend driving a little bit to either the Burbank one or the Tarzana which is my favorite. Great service in and out quickly with no hiccups. Here is an update: unfortunately I found myself in this area right before work and had no choice but to come to this location which I otherwise would avoid at all costs. It is still as awful as it was the first time I made this review. The wait times are along whether there is a lobby full of patients or you are the only one. Nobody knows what's happening. I had to ask how much longer it will be and the response was someone already clicked on your name you can go in to chair 1. I probably would have been done 30 minutes prior. If they had negative stars this place would receive it. read more

How come they get a 3-star rating when everyone seems to hate the place as much as I do? It is even worse now than before they got their new computer system. There is no receptionist.
