If your skin isn't white don't come to this facility or you will be met with unbridled racism. My kid's been trying 4x to get a simple urine screening for the doctor. He's been refused service with his father (who is black), cousin twice (who is black) but when my white butt brings him in how quickly the tone changes. They wouldn't allow him because they "didn't know the instructions" on his test when she is standing there holding the orders for the test each other time. Disgusting. Please for the love of god do a training on racism with your employees. I would recommend NOW. If the orders weren't at this facility we wouldn't have tried so many times in the same location. read more

Unfortunately, we had to wait for the order to come through and she stayed with me until we got it right. She was beyond nice and understanding. I had a pleasant experience with this location. I had an appointment at 8:30 went in a little early, like around 8:25 and left around 8:43. Very quick and painless, which I can appreciate. Check-in was simple as well, as there's two machines you can do a self-check in on. There was only 2 people in front of me, wasn't crowded at all. I was there for a drug screening and I asked when results will be sent to my employer and he replied with"tonight". So I love how quick the turn around time is. The staff was also friendly, professional, and helpful. I highly, highly, highly recommend making an appointment prior to coming, just to play it safe. Overall great experience. read more

I had an amazing experience here today with my 4 year old. The staff were understanding of my concern for having my little guy's blood drawn as his veins are so tiny - they had 2 amazing ladies that made the process so smooth and easy, helped to divert his attention, and it only took one try on his little arm. DO NOT GO TO THE NAPERVILLE FACILITY - They are a total joke and VERY RUDE!!!!! They say that they take walk-ins, but I waited 50 minutes as a walk-in and when I asked the woman how much longer, she was so rude and said that we always do appointments before walk-ins. I get that, but I told her that if you're not going to squeeze walk-ins between scheduled appointments, then don't advertise that you accept walk-ins. Some of the most incompetent and unknowledgeable staff I have ever dealt with. Besides the fact that you have no choice but to use the kiosk because there is never an employee behind the front desk, when you can find an employee they are full of attitude and of no help. They are continuously behind and give zero indication of the wait time, despite having an appointment. I have been to other quest locations and have had nothing but positive experiences. This location is slow, disorganized, and has an extremely unpleasant staff. I will never even consider returning to this location, and I would advise anyone against it. read more

Extremely unprofessional. I came in with my husband for his routine blood screening. The phlebotomist was rude and unprofessional. She would not allow me to come back with my husband for his draw, which is completely out of line. I have never been told I could not be with a family member for their draw. I have a family member who has been a phlebotomist elsewhere for years and they never prevent their patients from having a family member either them. I will not come back here again. My Mom had warned me about this place from her own previous bad experience and I didn't believe her, turns out she was right. I will go have my medical care done elsewhere where I and my family are treated like humans, not numbers in a system. read more

I had trouble with the kiosk and traveled awhile to get this location. Then she stated she was done for the day and gave me attitude and when I finally got her to come over by the window. I have been to this location 4 times in the last 30 days. My first two experiences were wonderful with Cody and Diana. Cody was very thorough in explaining everything to me. When unsure, went and got clarification which I appreciated. I also get very squeamish with blood, he talked to me the whole time, kept me calmed and I felt nothing! Diana was very kind and helpful as well! Then the last two times I got Maggie. Maggie does not have an ounce of customer service or compassion. The first visit, she saw me for all of what felt like 30 seconds. I was there to repeat an at home lab I did incorrectly. When I asked for clarification I was shut down and told "it's on the paper". I didn't press for information because I was better off calling my PCP after how quickly she brushed me off and her tone. The second visit with Maggie (4th total visit) I show up with my at home lab and she doesn't greet me, just asks for the order. I said I didn't have it because it was not communicated to bring it in. I didn't need it when dropping off the first time (second visit). She had an attitude to start but it just got worse. She brought someone in whose name I did not catch. This women gave some monotone "we're sorry for the miscommunication.." (sounded so scripted like she's had to do it for Maggie before). I said "there was no miscommunication there was just NO communication." Maggie stated she didn't even remember me. I recapped my visit with Maggie and she said "that's not what happened, she just said she didn't remember me! Now she can say that's not how the visit went?! Also, They kept speaking over me and when I called them out for it and to let me finish talking, Maggie said "talk talk!". Maggie should not be working with people, some of us go there are vulnerable, scared and dealing with some serious medical issues and they're given the worst costumer service. Went to this location this morning for bloodwork which they could not find the order for. Provider office claims they placed the order with Quest. This location does not answer their phone. I usually have a great experience at this location but today I went there around 12:45pm because Bolingbrook had a hand written note on their door that they closed earlier than what the Quest site listed. I arrive at the Naperville location and check in. Another gentleman before me was also a walk-in and they came and grabbed him with no problem. A few minutes later a blonde girl calls me to the window and asks me what am I there for, when did my doctor give me my order and she also stated that they aren't accepting walk-ins since the mask mandate. Interesting because you just took a walk-in back (walk-ins are listed on the screen). Then she tells me my order requires fasting which is interesting because my doctor nor the form mentioned fasting. She clearly was ready to go home for the day. I'm pregnant and have been going to Quest regularly for months now and being pregnant I have to get bloodwork often. Making an appointment is almost impossible and for her to lie about appointments being required when it does not state that anywhere on Quest's site is upsetting. Please do better at hiring at your locations. read more

My goodness just to take Urine sample takes more than half an hour and still waiting. Would have never come knowing such inefficiency. And this is despite having appointment in advance. Not happy with quest right now. Went there last week for a blood test. 5 days later, my dr and I have no results. Can't get through easily via phone or email. The person taking the blood was nice. This particular lab tech/phlebotomist was very irritated that I came in close to closing time. Very rude about it. "Couldn't find" 2 out of the 6 tests the tests the doctor ordered in the computer. Didn't even run the tests that she did find. I cannot believe this place is so unprofessional. I needed a little sympathy since this was the 3rd blood test for my anxiety ridden daughter. She couldn't give a care in the world...whe obviously wanted to leave at 4:00. I went to another location and was told that this is unacceptable and need to file a complaint. So here I am. Very slow. Should be a ten minute max wait. Instead I saw everyone come and go, three rounds of people who came in after me all went in before me. 49 minute wait. Front desk staff didn't pay attention to the order on the list. If I didn't walk up and let them know I waited 40 I would have ended up waiting an hour. I have been to other Quest labs and had much better experiences, but both times I went to the Quest in Naperville, I wound up waiting about an hour. I had an appt and was there 5 - 10 minutes early each time, and each time, people who came in after me were taken first. I even heard one telling the tech there that she did not have an appt and was happy with how quickly they brought her back. (She is one of the ones who came in after me.) I suspect that at least a couple of the others also did not have appts, though I don't know that for sure. This would be annoying if I were healthy, but as someone who is disabled by chronic illnesses and has a very limited amount of functioning time on any given day, it was a very big problem. Thankfully I had someone drive me the second time, because I barely managed to make it back home after the first time this happened. I will say that the person who wound up taking my blood was very nice. And, there has only been one person working at any Quest that i have visited that was not so great. So, at least they have that goign for them. read more

They did not acknowledge me at all when I walked in, and people behind the counter would look at me and walk away. Making an appointment online - easy; check in - easy; wait was short. I had routine blood work done with a urine sample. Nice plembotomist. Then I went into a restroom to provide my sample and there were two samples already sitting on the counter with their owner's names on them -- ummm, gross and not very private. Then the toilet seat was not attached completely on the toilet (one screw broken, the other loose) and I almost fell on the floor. I was going to tell someone in person but everyone had disappeared. This place can be better if the washroom area wasn't so disgusting and they kept people's privacy better. FYI the counter for the samples was the only place in the room to set down a purse or a coat -- I hope they clean that thing after they gather those samples... read more

Came in today(Friday) for my annual blood work and vitamin levels.I didn't have an appointment. I was in at 7:30 am and out by 8am,10 minutes of that time was me drinking water waiting to pee in a cup lol! The phlebotomist(Ellie,I think) was super nice! I had on my scrubs so we talked about the health care field a bit. This was my second time at this location,the first time was Cool too. I like that the hours start at 5am during the week and I'm able to view my results online or with the app before my Dr. Lectures me. read more

These people obviously know to some insurance companies that they're the only game in town. I came in for some testing; told the tech at the counter what I was there for, she scowled and said, "obviously". Wouldn't perform urine testing on me since they were only open for another hour and a half and I couldn't guarantee that I could produce enough in that time. Made it clear they wouldn't stay late for me. Weren't even polite about it. Next time my doctor sends me there I'm going to beg him to send me somewhere else. Also let my insurance company know what a**holes these people are. Stupid, entitled, 9-month certificated techs. Grrrrr. read more

Get to office 5 minutes early; sign in. Tech (or whoever she is) says they have no orders for me. Tell her they were transmitted 8/31; she "cant find them". Try calling doctor for a resend--office not open. Leave w/o blood being drawn. Call doctor when they are open---we sent it. Try calling the local Quest office--no one answers; call their corporate "800" number to complain; they CAN look up the order w/o any problem. Why couldn't the person at the local office do it? "We don't know; we'll open a complaint for you though". Stupidity and/or laziness and/or incompetence is the answer why. I had to have titers done last summer for a nursing program at NIU (NIU did not make arrangements for their students to get them done but that is another story). I called my physician as she had to send the orders in - the Quest personnel entered the Hep B in wrong - was ordered correctly by MD but was data entered incorrectly at this location - should have been a quantitative, they entered a qualitative. I had to return to this clinic (out of my way) to have the blood redrawn and they ASSURED me I would not get charged for the previous one. You already know where this is going - charged for both. This was all last summer and I have spoken with & emailed Quest explaining what happened, I paid the stray bill for the last (correct) Hep B but have not paid the original bill until they deduct the qualitative because they would just chase me for that if I paid short. Of course I was referred to a collection agency (AMCA who got hacked earlier this year). Now on to Transworld to whom I have to tell my story over again. Did I mention I'm a nurse? And where will I refer my patients for their labwork? read more

I went here on a week day in the late morning. I was very unhappy with the previous Quest location I had gone to so I was bit nervous about trying another Quest location. I did not have an appt. I signed up, went to use the bathroom, returned a quick phone call and, although it seemed that they were really crowded, only waited 5 minutes or so once I got back to the waiting room. The phlebotomist was exceptional. Parul was so friendly and professional. She told me everything she was doing before she did it, was very skilled (barely a pinch felt) and she showed interest in me and told me a bit about herself as she quickly took the samples and recorded what she needed to in the computer.
