Had to come in for a blood test and it was easy as could be. Had a 2:30 appointment and got there 15 minutes early. Checked in on my phone and they texted a minute later it was my turn. Walked in and went right back. Staff was super nice and quick. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes! read more

This place is horrible. I came to this location after two horrible experiences at the Oakbrook location. I'm not sure which location is worsen. The woman who took my blood shook the vial after she was done and I have never seen anyone do this. I'm not sure if this affected the results or they gave me the wrong results, but first, my cholesterol results were significantly different than a test I had a week prior and after discussing with my doctor, there doesn't seem to be a logical explanation for this. Second, my order had two blood tests on it and I have yet to receive the results from the second test. I'm pretty sure they didn't run the second test so now I have to take the time out of my day to repeat this test and pay for a second test. Or they gave me someone else's results. Not sure but either way it's ridiculous. read more

My new employer ordered a drug screening test. The LabCorp document that was issued to me for this location indicated their hours are 9 am to 4 pm (M-F). I came at 1:42 pm and was told abruptly at the reception that I was 20 minutes early and to take a seat. Apparently, their hand drawn message on their front door limiting their hours for drug tests from 2 to 4 pm overrides what they sent to me. I had to sit and waste my time while I waited for it to be convenient for this office to take my exam. Good thing I didn't waste an hour or more! read more

I've been going here for over 3 years for FAA drug testing and the service is absolutely pathetic. Occasionally I get good service because I get to know the people. I come in every month. They have high employee turn over so soon as I get to know the people there, they all leave and I'm stuck with incompetent employees who don't know how to do their jobs. The past 3 months I've gone here the wait has been well over an hour and despite being a customer for over 3 years, walk-in's, "don't get priority over scheduled appointments". The only reason I continue to go here is because it's required for my employment. I'm in the process of changing my drug testing agency to Quest in Naperville off of Washington street. If you plan on using labcorp, plan 3 hours out of your day l, attitude from employees and come with a patience because they'll most likely mess up your drug test, blood test etc. read more

If I could rate less then 1 star I would !!! When I showed up to get my blood taken I wasn't sure if the office was even opened. The lights seemed dim compared to all the busy offices next to LabCorp. There was no one in the waiting area and no one behind the desk. I checked in anyway and sat down and waited. My immediate impression of the waiting room alone was a turn off (ceiling stains, half filled water glasses left around, and SILENT). Since it was so quiet I could now hear someone far in the back talking as if they were on the phone. After 10 minutes of sitting in silence someone finally opened the door to the waiting area. In a bothered tone I was asked 'what do you need.' I told the girl I had an appointment to get routine blood work. She asked, still in a bothered tone, if I had my paperwork and I informed her that no she actually has them. My doctor faxed it and spoke to someone in this office a week or two ago. She just looked at me then let the door close and walked into the office where a secretary would normally sit to begin looking through a huge stack of papers. At this point I got a phone call and walked out of the office while she was shuffling though papers. Venting about how horrible this experience was so far a passing-by nurse in the building stopped me while on my call and told me I should REALLY go downstairs... as if she knew this office in particular had a lot of complaints. I really appreciated that and it just confirmed my bad feelings with this office so I left. I had a bad feeling ever since walking into this LabCorp office, totally uninviting and when having only 1 staff member on duty at a time you should probably make sure they aren't rude and bothered by their job. I ended up making an appointment for the same day with LabCorp's Orland Park location (hoping they weren't all like this) and I can assure you they are not! The girl at the Orland Park location was great. It looked as if she took care of the office itself not like I was sitting in a sketchy blood bank. While there still was no music (apparently a LabCorp thing) the experience itself I would give 5 stars. She answered a lot of questions for me and even made sure my blood work was coded correctly. If you need to go to LabCorp for anything do yourself a favor and go to the Orland Park location!! read more

Scene: Early Saturday morning with appointment I have limited options for some of my testing, and this location has early Saturday appointment times. No one likes to give blood or participate in diagnostic testing... including those who work at this facility. Short attention span SHE of the Front Desk has clearly met everyone in the room at least one time as they have arrived, but yet, as SHE calls them to come back to meet with her, she cannot recall basic facts about the person whose name just escaped her lips. Attitude abounds if you attempt to provide details not asked for, or better yet, if you have not mastered the mind reading skills needed to raise your appointment specifics from the computer without touching the keyboard. Management needs to watch their surveillance video and see what a great representation of their business is being reflected to the public. I suppose they don't really care because, after all, insurance is paying the bill (so they think). Other reviews here hit the nail on the head about the blood draws - giant needles, bruising and overall lack of compassion is evident by those who would rather be anywhere other than here...no matter how you try to engage them. read more

It's not like I wanted to go to LabCorp and get blood tests done, but I did, and it was a lot less of a hassle than I expected it to be. The hours are fair, and the location is convenient for me.. Both times I went on a Saturday (open until 12:00 p.m.). The first time, I arrived around 7:30 a.m. and waited maybe 10 minutes before I saw someone. The second time, I arrived at 11:30 a.m. and waited less than 5 minutes. You can make an appointment online, but I didn't. Not sure there's really a point since you don't wait that long. The receptionists and technicians are relatively friendly, depending on the day and time. The second time, I definitely felt like I was inconveniencing the staff, even though I arrived half an hour prior to closing - and I was in and out of there by 11:50 a.m. I could easily give this 5 stars, because the technicians are pros. I always have difficulty getting blood drawn on the first try. They get me on the second try, which is amazing for me. I wasn't sore or bruised either. But I wish they would disguise their emotions a little bit better, because on my second visit I was a little bit nervous they'd pop an air bubble in me instead... read more

My wife and I had Covid-19 antibody tests done today. The online system for making an appointment was quick and easy. They had several times available to choose from. The check-in process at the office was also quick and easy. The person who drew blood must have quite a bit of experience because it was as close to painless as I have ever experienced. If you could give negative stars for this experience! Staff was beyond rude - constant eye rolling and attitude... I have bad veins and always warn them, (first eye roll) and asked for it to be taken out of the top of my hand (second eye roll), then comes the arguing about insisting about taking it out of the arm.... just once try LISTENING to your patient instead of treating them like dirt... claimed there were too many tubes to get to use my hand.... guess what? This lab is the WORST. We went there with a test order that was fully covered by our insurance however the office charged my husband anyway even though he said it should be fully covered. They said it wasn't. I just spent an hour on with insurance and it as fully covered. This lab is incompetent and has no clue what they are doing. read more

This review is mostly for the wonderful receptionist (starts with K) at this location. I had to come here a few times for my 3 yo and she has gone above and beyond for me. I can't even begin to thank her for accommodating this tired mom of two toddlers. This last time, I didn't realize that the office closed earlier than other locations AND wasn't open the next day (Saturday). She let me come in after they had closed to drop off time sensitive lab work. She didn't even bat an eye and she DID NOT have to that. I sure hope her boss realizes what a gem she is. Had a good experience here. Came in on a Saturday morning without an appointment for some routine bloodwork. Was in and out in 40 minutes on a relatively busy day. The desk person and the lab tech were very friendly and professional. They do take appointments, but it's doesn't seem necessary. read more

Very convenient location and overall the staff was friendly. However, the office was not run efficiently. Why I bothered to make an appointment was a mystery. I made a 7:30 a.m. appointment so I could still get my son to school in time. We arrived a few minutes before his appointment and signed in only to sit for 20 minutes until I finally asked the receptionist if having an appointment made any difference. HIs response to me was "Oh, you made an appointment?" UGH! We waited another five minutes until he called me back up to take our insurance information and then another five minutes until the technician called us back. The fun doesn't end there. Once in the room, the technician used a needle so large you could have used it as a straw. Inevitably, my son got woozy and almost passed out. She then switched to his other arm and used a smaller needle which went just fine. That was too much drama for such an early hour of the day. Hope to never have to go back there again. Quest Diagnostics does a much better job. read more

Since it is New Year's Eve, they are only open from 8:00am to 12:00pm. I arrived here at the door at 7:55 on a Wednesday. By the time I got here, there were 8 people in front of me and maybe 4 after me. It is now 8:23 and 4 other people have walked in. They finally called me to check me in at this time as well. 2 min later I got my blood drawn and it took a minute. It was not painful. Overall 30 min was not bad for a walk in on New Year's Eve! read more

Rude staff, which I can live with, but they were absolutely awful to an older gentleman who was having trouble with their automated check in. Lucky for them, I helped him and the high school age young lady who also struggled. And why have people make appointments if you can't get them in on time? Arrived 10:45am to an absolutely empty waiting room and a darkened front desk area with no one at it. When I approached, suddenly in the darkness near the back wall I see a sketchy looking guy in a lab coat sitting down checking his phone. Told him I needed to do a drug screening, he gestures over to a previously unseen woman (also in a lab coat) who struts out and tells me sternly "we only do those from 2-4pm." I shake my head in disbelief and begin to walk out, turn and say "really, I need to come back later, just to pee in a cup?" Yep. So I return at 2:15, check in with a different woman at the front desk, and while checking in suddenly the same tech in the lab coat from earlier strides over and says to her "he had an attitude before." I scheduled a fasting blood draw on labcorp's portal at the 96th st location in Naperville for 10/6/18 at 9:30. I arrived at the location at 9:15. It is closed with a sign on the door that says this location is only open the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month (the 6th is the 1st Saturday) of the month. I have a confirmation # that states I have an appointment at this location on this day and time. Incidentally, so do 3 other people who arrived while I was trying to get someone on the phone. I call 3 different #s before I get someone at labcorp to answer. Erin confirms that the location is not open on the 1st and 3rd Saturday's of the month. She does not know why the portal scheduled appointments for the 6th. She directed me to another location, 8 miles away that is already fully booked. So now here I sit hoping that I will be able to get my blood drawn before this location closes at noon. read more
