Did not like the fact that you need to check in at a kiosk. There is no office person to ask questions.

BUYER BEWARE. I have Harvard Pilgrim and Quest is a contracted "low-cost provider." In theory, I can pay lower out-of-pocket costs for labs by going to Quest. BUT, Quest required I sign an AWN. SO, when my insurance wouldn't cover a vitamin D test that my doctor ordered, Quest sent me a bill for $266. I've spoken to my insurance company at length about this, and because I signed the AWN (which I had to in order to receive service at the low cost provider that my insurance company functionally directed me to), my insurer says there's nothing they can do. Harvard Pilgrim also told me that if they did cover it, the allowed amount is $27.53. I called Quest and offered to pay that amount. They said they couldn't accept that. I then offered to pay their current retail price of $75. They also said no to that. This is absolutely immoral. read more

My daughter was seen by a doctor on 8/14/24. Rapid strep was negative. Culture was sent to quest. It took 4 days for a positive result to come back on 8/18/24. My child has been suffering in pain and with a 102+ fever with around the clock Tylenol while waiting this unacceptable time. First and only time I have used Quest. I will never allow a lab to be sent to Quest Diagnostic again! read more

Made my appt the night before at the Quest website for first thing next morning. I had to check w my insurance company first to see if this lab is In Network for coverage. Manchester was covered in my plan, but not Amherst or Goffstown NH. Not easy to find! A little tricky finding the entrance using Google maps to get me there. I asked a few people and they directed me to a door, take elevator or stairs down to next floor, follow the hall next to fitness room- look for small Quest signs. I allied extra time before my 7:20 am appt to find the place. Not marked outside... hmmm Clean tidy well lit waiting room Kiosk to check in using the QR code I got on my email the night before or use confirmation code Then my drivers license to prove who I am Saw my name ( just first 4 letters) on the waiting list screen on wall. I could see I did not have long to wait Got there early, taken in early Very very nice professional phlebotomist No bruising! Easy to talk to I brought my own lab orders from my doc. You can request for your doc to send them. But I had a last minute 11 o'clock the night before- to change the labs for insurance. So glad I brought paper copies for the blood draw. Over and done in 10 min Now this is amazing! I got an email from Quest to register online- I did And then that night/ same day/ I got all my results / sent them to my own email / printed them out. Easy to understand with lots of range and definitions explained 5 star!! read more

Quick, easy, convenient. I made my appointment online, which was a tad confusing however I got it all set. I arrived 10 minutes early and checked in on my phone. My phlebotomist was very nice and conversational. However, there were some people in the lobby having trouble checking in. My advice to customers is, have updates texted to you if you have the capable cellphone. I checked in by clicking a link texted to me and then clicking that I was there. Very easy and I did not have to rely on other technology or anybody else. read more

Avoid the location at 195 Macgregor St in Manchester NH. There is a lady there who is extremely rude, upon arrive she saw me doing the self check in and completely lost her mind. Yelling at me telling me they no longer do walk ins and I needed to "GET OUT" now. When I asked to speak with a supervisor or for contact information she continued to yell at me to "GET OUT" and that there where no avenues of complaint as she "ran this place" It seemed like this lady just didn't want to do any more work in a Friday afternoon, it's something I can relate to but the rudeness and entitlement here was beyond anything I have experienced I. Their automated system is absolutely horrendous. They have 0 customer service both online, and in person. I don't even understand how this company can be in business. Tried to book online, no go. Tried to book in their automated system (received a we're having technical difficulties go online message). An endless frustrating loop. Pathetic. Maybe if I go in person I'll have better luck? I have always had very good service here! The wait time is short and the staff have always been kind and skilled.

I was quite anxious ... it had taken weeks to explain and arrange with my daughters doctor and then days to coordinate getting a bowel movement sample from my daughter who happens to have Down Syndrome and was afraid to use the toilet with a "hat" inside. So we lined the toilet with plastic after emptying it and finally I had my sample to bring to Quest. I didn't have an appointment as I couldn't be sure when my daughter would cooperate so was confused about how to sign in, who to sign in as, etc. A nurse came out and helped explained what would happen next and very soon she ushered me into a room, took my sample, paperwork and daughters ID and it only took 5 minutes and we were done. I am very grateful for the quick help and cooperation I got today at Quest and plan to go back in the future with all my family's lab needs. read more

Contrary to the old reviews this visit was the polar opposite of what the other reviews for this location describe. Greeted immediately, checked in with the electronic link, and the very friendly staff got to work right away looking up my out of town labs. Within just a few minutes my blood was drawn WELL, and all business was completed in less that 20 minutes. These guys are friendly fast and proficient! You're in for a pleasant surprise! read more

One star is generous I had received a conditional employment offer provided I submit to a pre employment drug screening. I reported that following morning to Quest Diagnostics 195 Mcgregor St Manchester NH. Upon arrival I signed into the kiosk and took a seat. My name was called and I went to the desk and provided the paperwork. At the time I checked in I was not able to provide a urine specimen. I thought it would be OK, I could wait and drink water until I was ready. (been there, done that before) The receptionist then became quite terse and very abrupt to me stating the test was time sensitive and I should not have checked in until I was ready to provide a urine specimen. (How was I to know this. No notification and no posting on the wall either). I was willing to attempt to provide it right then and there, if possible. I sat down in (whatever they call it) the room where they conduct the tests. There was an issue inputting my data so I offered my potential employer's telephone number if that would help. Once again I was spoken to quite rudely by another technician stating my help was not required and to remain seated. (I am an adult being spoken to like a child) As stated previously I was not able to provide a specimen. The technician said "Well, it looks like we both wasted each others time." and then instructed me to wait in the lobby and drink some water until I was ready. I stated "I won't leave the lobby" when she curtly replied "Don't interrupt me while I am speaking." (I kid you not) She then gave me the riot act about what I can and cannot do (I get that she is required to tell me and completely respect that). I returned to the lobby and spent the next two hours drinking water and waiting to be called for to provide a specimen. During this time the door between laboratory and the waiting room was unsecured and unattended for approximately 30 minutes. (HIPPA violation, perhaps?) When I was called in to provide a specimen (the same grouchy tech). I just remained silent, did what needed to be done and handed the container to the tech. She had noticed my friendly demeanor went south, pointed at the door and said "There's the door." My response:"The sooner the better". She sarcastically retorted "Have a nice day". I had enough and I responded "Kiss my ass" and walked away. Perhaps that was not the best option for that particular moment but I was really angry at this point. Any rational person could understand my frustration. The plot thickens... The following day I obtained an email from my potential employer stating that my offer had been rescinded due to my conduct at Quest Diagnostics. Apparently somebody called my potential employer to complain about what had happened. Regretfully my potential employer chose to dismiss me rather than hear my side of things. I have spoken to an attorney and there is no legal recourse. I have filed a formal complaint with Quest Diagnostics The NH BBB as well as some local news media outlets regarding (what I consider) unfair treatment. read more

I had a very bad experience with this place. I never write reviews but it was bad enough to warrant it. (This is not about the staff- they were very nice!) The problem was that they never sent my labs to my Doctor. When I tried to call them about it the phone system was so difficult to get through. I ended up on hold and then it told me their call volume was too high and hung up on me! I tried to create an online account since the phone system had suggested that as an alternative. Their online system was just as bad. I couldn't request that the labs be sent to my doctor on there either. The website was worthless. I really needed my doctor to get the labs and this whole process was ridiculously disorganized and way more time consuming than it should have been. read more

There is no option on the phone to speak to a real person for questions. I took a covid test last week, and have yet to hear a peep about my results, either in the app or by email. So, I figured calling the place responsible for processing my test was the best course of action. Nope. It should not be this difficult to receive results from a test taken over a week ago. read more
