I will never be using this location again. My phlebotomist was using dirty gloves did not sanitize her hands one time prior to doing my blood draw. Then she cleaned the site with alcohol to sterilize the area prior to the blood draw then tried to proceed touching it with her dirty gloves and I asked her to stop in order to keep it from Being contaminated. This location needs a lot of education regarding aseptic technique and infection control. read more

Terrible terrible, try a different lab company, receptionist was awful, I asked her a simple questions and look at me and rolled her eyes without any response, waited 1:30 for a simple urine test, my wait time on the screen was 35 minutes, when you ask why is taking so long, they respond don't pay attention to wait times, they are not accurate... beside the horrible attitude of the receptionist, do yourself a favor and choose another lab, everywhere else I ever used takes 10-15 minutes, don't waste your precious time. read more

Pre employment UDS are only done starting at 0900. Well, you ask how would you know that? It's not stated online. It's taped half ass on the door. You absolutely CAN NOT see this when you walk in because the sun is glaring soooo mmmkkk that's helpful. Apparently all of the locations have special hours (meaning it could be 0830, 1000, who knows?!) for this specific test and to call is a joke because it's a 1-800 number and you talk to someone in a different state soooo that's neat and they aren't even sure about the special hours that each fricken location has. The experience I had with this whole company has just been bad all around!! The first time I had to get a drug screening done was earlier in November. My HR calls me to tell me that I have to do a drug test. They send me an email and I bring it with me to the office. While I get to this location I just sit there and wait. Once they called me back I tell them that it's a drug test I have to do. They get hair from 2 places in the back of my scalp. I have thin, long, very fine hair. So for me to lose hair I was scared cause my wedding is just in 4-5 months. Once they took a good chunk of my hair it's sealed in an envelope. I guess their systems was down to submit my form online. So I waited a good maybe 30 minutes for the technician to decide that he has to send it old school. Once I was done I gave my HR a call to let them know that they will get the results later than expected. A week later I call my HR and ask if they got my results, sadly they didn't. They asked me if I could go do it again and of course I do it again. Once again they lose my shit again. This is getting to be on my last nerve. If I go back tomorrow and they 'lose' my shit again. I am done with this place. Sorry this was more of a rant but I needed to let everyone else know how bad Quest really is. read more

Front desk people need more training in dealing with drop-offs. The ladies there seem do not seem to have E good amount of training to be receiving drop offs. I want to suggest that they be relocated to do back office instead and not be receiving clients in the front. It is very frustrating having to deal with people who don't seem to understand much about the position they are put in. read more

My doctor took blood work and sent it to quest diagnostics and I got a bill for $549.33! If I had known that blood test cost this much I would have not done it. Who and why are they allowed to charge that much for a regular test. How awful!!!!!!!! I had to get a payment plan to pay it!!!!!!!!!! This is my second time going to this location On my first occasion I had to leave because I waited for more than 35minutes without seeing anyone, on my second location I spent over an hour in the waiting room and continued to wait patiently, after inquiring with staff I was simply told I was next, with out any time frame or concern for my time having spent. I've been coming to the location since it opened. What can you say about this type of business. It's a necessary evil, the wait times always seem to be around 1.5 hours. A major tip about Quest is make an appointment if you can instead of sitting in a freezing cold waiting room, it puts you to the head of the line. Such an incompetent staff at this location. They couldn't take the time to help elderly guests sign in, just pointed them to the iPad and watched them struggle. The front desk woman kept her back turned doing paperwork while a patient tried to ask questions about her appointment. Techs didn't come out to grab patients, just shouted their names down the hallway and also clearly said which test people were coming in for loudly enough for everyone in the lobby to hear. Tech also wanted to do the same test twice for two different doctors...Why not just do one test and send the results to the second doctor? Avoid this location! read more

My review is about the West Sahara location in Las Vegas. Great service from employees under extreme duress. Let me be clear: if you are a senior and you don't wear your hearing aids, can't sign in using a tablet, AND can't identify the first three letters of your first name and the first letter of your last name on a monitor hanging on the wall ...YOU'RE NOT GOING TO HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE. Plus, you PATIENTS have set up a scenario where YOU CANNOT BE HELPED. I was amazed that the workers in this office have to put up with so many big old babies...who demand attention... and treat the waiting room as if it's a cocktail party because they are so starved for human contact. I'm no spring chicken, but I went in prepared...and early (well before my appointment.) And even then, the surly wife of a patient who was being tested made sure to RUDELY let all of us know she is an anti-masker and thought we were all fools. I arrived this morning when they opened at 7am for routine fasting bloodwork. It's is 8:57am now and there are still about people ahead of me. I had attempted to make an appointment online a few weeks back, however it seems morning appointments fill up months in advance and when needing to fast, the afternoon appointments do not work. There has to be a better solution to this. If there is this much demand, they need more phlebotomists scheduled. When they opens there was only one person taking blood. It appears we are up to 2 phlebotomists two hours later. It should not take half a day to get a blood test. read more

It really is a well-kept secret here. I've had to come here twice in a week, and each time I've only had to wait an hour, with no appointment (for a pre-employment drug test) and they have a very simple procedure that happened exactly the same both times. Keep in mind not to drink too much water before your test; it will yield inconclusive lol Anyway, the staff as more friendly than any other Quest I've been to, and the online appointment request system said there were no more appointments until 2 weeks out! On that note, my suggestion, would be to try the online reservation list first, then if that fails, just walk in. You will have one HELL of a time trying to reach any one Quest location by phone; the number they have listed is a central number and it is automated that won't reroute you anywhere. No live voices, not location specific. Don't waste your time in that phone #; Internet or walk in! read more

The customer service quality at this place is ridiculous. The majority of the people demographic are older, not always tech savvy, generation. And the sign sheet is an iPad. It literally takes almost 5 min or more for just one person to sign in at times. And the 2 ladies at the front desk.. both always just looking at the computer not even bothering to look up and help. I mean I understand you have things to do too but you can't take 5 min to help sign people in for the sake of moving the line along? Specially if you see the line going all the way out the door and hear people sighing and struggling to sign on the iPad. 20 min wait to just sign in and an hr wait on top to be called is just ridiculous. I've been here a few times without an appointment and usually wait outside 30 minutes before they open. There's always about 15 people outside waiting. I've never been there longer than 35 minutes when I finally check in. The check in process takes the longest since most patients here are older and are not familiar with how to use the iPad to answer the 4 questions but when they do ask for help the girls behind the front desk do it pretty quickly. My last visit was a little longer as one of the staff members had to go home sick. Some of the patients did not follow the simple check in process or ask for help and did not properly check in and then had to be added to the queue. There were some rude patients there and I feel like the staff handled it very well! They were calm, patient and did not speak to anyone with an attitude which was nice to see. The lady who usually draws my blood is quick and painless and found my hard to locate vein quickly with minimal bruising. Other places wreck my arm and leave me bruised for weeks. Wow. As one reviewer mentioned there is a reason why there is a large number of chairs in the waiting room. The registration staff is numb and burned out and their lack of empathy is apparent. So my future employer sent me here for a pre employment drug test (hair and urine). The place opens at 7am but do not start drug screening until 9am. I arrived at around 8:40am and once I got the two grumpy looking employees to acknowledge me standing in front of them one of them said are you here for "some medical word" I responded with " I'm here to take a drug test. She then shot back with, we don't start those until 9am. After asking her if I should sign in or stand there until 9am her coworker said sign in but they won't see you until 9am. I hope the people taking the drug testing are happier and have a better attitude. read more

I had my blood drawn at this location on Sept. 7, 2017. The receptionist took my insurance cards and my ID and copied them. Yesterday in the mail I received a notice from my previous insurance company that the claim was denied. I haven't had that insurance company for nearly two years. Whoever does the billing totally ignored the fact that I have new insurance coverage now and billed the old company. I tried to call Quest to resolve this over the phone, but all I could get was recorded questions and directions. Could not speak to a human being. So now I have to go to the lab and personally try to resolve this issue. Very disappointed. read more

I went to a different location today-on sahara. I was very impressed and was there less than an hour. I arrived about 7:35am. Laurie W did my blood draw. she was nice, friendly and very professional. we had a good laugh because she said I had a beautiful vein in my right arm. I've been to this location many times and it is always the same, LONG, LONG, LONG waits. The front staff is inefficient. They don't seem to have a process to get all the people to flow through the office in a quick way. They rarely smile or interact positively with the patients. Possibly, Quest needs to evaluate how many people come to this office and staff it appropriately.
