I made an appointment right then and I was in the office within 5 minutes of my scheduled time. Quick and easy! They sent me information on the bone density scan and what to do and wear the morning of my appointment. The technician was so nice and did a great job getting me in the right positions to get good scans. Everyone I worked with was nice, professional and got things done in a timely manner. The building is well marked and easy to find. Parking wasn't a problem and there is a cafe in the basement.

I was also charged for the procedure I never had done by Mercy hospital when the appointment was never confirmed! Dr took lots of time explaining and answering questions. I have advanced degrees in biology, so I asked tons of questions. Even the nurses took extra time to make me comfortable and explain. The reason I am writing this review is that Roseburg has huge population (about 50%) that cannot read or write. When Mercy discharged me they gave me some pages of info to help me with drainage and wound care. This hospital would do better with these illiterate folks using videos. Perhaps on their website. Because illiterate people will never admit they couldn't read/ understand material. This maybe part of reason people say bad things about Mercy. the second reason is pts are demanding drugs instead of taking better care of themselves.
