I really can't say enough good things about this location. They always stick to their appointment times and get you in and out very quickly.

When my 85 yo MIL was experiencing bladder infection symptoms we were immediately concerned about…read moreCovid and going to the ER. WellNow is a great alternative to the ER. The Hamburg office is the closest to our house in Lake View. I did not know if they were open because the last time I drove by they were still being built. But a quick check of the website said they were indeed ready for patients with a 50 minute wait. When we got there we were able to park right in front of the door and got inside very easily. There was one person at the desk but two employees so there was no wait. After a brief check in, we were immediately taken back to a exam room. There seemed to be only one other room occupied. Not sure why the website said 50 minute wait. She gave them a sample and we had test results in minutes rather than hours like the ER. She was seen by another nurse who took her vitals and some questions. I am glad they let me go back with her. She is hard of hearing and I was able to help her understand what was happening. She then saw a DR who did a brief tactical exam and confirmed it was a bladder infection. They sent a prescription to our pharm of choice and we were on our way. Over all we were there for maybe 30 minutes. Over all the staff was very efficient, friendly and reassuring. The location was immaculately clean. Although they were a bit too new to have things operational (or perhaps it is a Covid thing) they had an empty slushy machine in the lobby and Pac-Man machine in the inside waiting area. I am very pleased this opened near my home. If it had been open a few months ago I might have saved myself $2500 from my last ER visit.

I was seen immediately and the nurse had a kit ready for whatever the doctor wanted. She even said she had the steroid shot right here if that was recommended. I hardly felt it. I felt I was in very good care. I highly recommend.

For the Hamburg Quest, on Commerce Place: Horrible! If you are going in for a simple blood test--…read morelike your annual physical, when your PCP sends a "scrip" or blood work order for a basic metabolic panel-- you should have no problems. If your blood work requires any additional thinking to get the job done, you're screwed! The "Phlebotomist Lab Technicians" that work at this particular location- (Hamburg Quest: 3674 Commerce Place, Hamburg, NY. 14075.) -are: unprofessional, dirty looking, ignorant to lab work instructions on the blood work request from the doctor, they're very unfriendly and not willing to work out problems. I was also told there is no "manager" or "boss" at that location, that I could talk to, or file a complaint with. All 3 times I went to that Quest, in 1 week-- there were the same technicians there-- an older lady, and a few younger women. The place did not look organized. It seemed they were rushing through each customer...(There is one technician that is female, in her 40's, she sticks out because all the other technicians are way younger, she looks like she smokes 100 cigarettes a day...this particular technician was extremely rude, her ignorance in Phlebotomy and NYS Health Codes-- as they apply to the Doctors blood work requests, or orders, the "scrip"-- her ignorance-- caused me to have to fast and go in 3 separate times- in 1 week, and my issues & blood work still never got resolved. She gave me incorrect medical advice, she didn't truly understand the NYS Health Codes as they apply to the professional instructions that is printed on the lab order. **This Quest NEEDS friendly, professional- Phlebotomist Lab Technicians that are truly knowledgeable in blood work request- instructions- written from the doctor- as they apply to NYS Health Codes & Guidelines, as well as how it applies to your health care plan, or health insurance. In conclusion: DO NOT GO TO THIS QUEST FOR ANY BLOOD WORK ORDERS. To be safe, if you need blood work, and you live in the Western NY area, there are many other QUESTS you can go to, and get the care you deserve. Other Locations: 1.) Quest Diagnostics: 4154 Mckinley Pkwy. Buffalo, NY. 2.) Quest Diagnostics: 6970 Erie Rd. Lower Level. Derby, NY. **3.) Quest Diagnostics: 3041 Orchard Park Rd. Orchard Park, NY.** **I ended up going to this Quest, and they were GREAT! No issues. They knew what they were doing. They worked with me and processed my blood work correctly, with none of the issues the other Quest in Hamburg got so hung up on. They actually looked like there office had order, no one was getting rushed, the staff looked professional and clean. More Locations: 4.) Quest Diagnostics: 3050 Orchard Park Rd. Second last time I was there the ignition stuck for the older man working there. I told him you have to jiggle the wheel. In a disappointed grandpa voice he told me it's not gonna start one day. It's a known Focus issue that's happened maybe twice a year and my car's been fine for years after paying cash and it's a 2010 Focus. I don't invest a lot in this car, not worth it. I was approached about my rust issue. Yes, I'm aware of it, I drive it and that's why there's duct take under the driver side door haha. Why is this the first time you even mention it, saying it's a probable safety issue when it's not the first time you've seen it at all? And maybe it's policy but how does someone who's worked this long in auto act like they have no idea where to recommend to deal with it? And if it's not fixable and I explain I bought this car with cash and it's lasted me years and don't wanna waste money on it, don't continue to talk to me like I don't get it. I might be bubbly and don't know everything about cars but I'm also almost 40 and don't wanna be talked to like an oblivious kid. And maybe it won't start one day but don't make it sound like a new issue that could implode at any moment when I've already said been familiar with it for years issue-free thanks to google. Another mechanic walked by after my oil change as I was cashing out and mentioned the ignition issue to the older man and said it's a common Ford issue. Older man turns and says "Did ya catch that?" like he found another issue I must not have been aware of (I am, we've discussed this, I don't care). I don't want to have this convo every time I come in just because I have a cheap old dependable car that I road trip to the ground that I'd rather upgrade and replace than invest in. It's hard enough for people to go to a mechanic and worry about getting hosed and telling me my car is gonna not start at any minute over a known glitch doesn't produce a lot of confidence. Nice guy but needs to learn to stop taking down to people. I probably won't go back now.
