The woman in the reception area was helpful and welcoming; she made checking-in go very well. The practitioners were extremely thorough. I was examined and asked extensive questions about the pain. They gave me a course of Prednisone, a shot of Toradol, and advice on what I can do in the long run to help this pain from recurring. A wonderful experience overall!

I walked in (no appointment needed) and signed in on the sign-up sheet. A woman that worked there told me to "just sit down and they'll call you". I started to sit and before I got onto the chair they called me in. It was maybe 3 minutes from top to bottom! The person drawing the blood (wish I remembered her name...) literally had a needle in my vein immediately and got the blood she needed. The whole visit took about 10 minutes max! I can't say enough about how efficient it all was. Granted, they could be much busier at other times and it might take longer but I was impressed. A+

I have to say i was a little confused as to how to rate this so called hospital…read more My son was very sick and has AHN insurance. My wife took him to AHN Mccandless Hospital. The nurses and doctors where fine the receptionists where fine as well. My problem is that they call it a hospital when it really is just a big urgent care facility. After blood work and testing the doctor said that they where not capable of diagnosing my sons problems as they do not have any specialty doctors on staff. What the heck no specialty doctors why even call yourself a hospital???????. The doctors said they where going to transfer him to Wexford Hospital. I do not get it they do thousands and thousands of dollars in tests only to say they can't do anything to help. Then to boot some one is paying for an ambulance to transfer him to the other hospital. If I was you I would avoid this so called hospital like the plague. I will be sure to never go here again. This is not a hospital so do not be fooled into thinking it is. If you have basic problems I am sure they can help, But anything remotely serous there is no way for them to help you. I must say again please do not go here unless you have no serious problems. With that said It was our fault for going here. I would normally give one star but the nurses and even the doctors where very nice even if they could not help. Normally for this level of care I would probably give 3-4 stars. Overall I will give 2 stars which is very generous.

I wish I had the women's name who answered the phone, but she was the most unprofessional b**ch I've ever spoken to in my life. She told me that I'm "an adult and pregnant I can figure it out on my own" I hope she sees this and realizes how pathetic she sounded and should rethink the way she speaks to people. I will never be going to this Lab Corp. I drove 25min out of my way to go to the cranberry labcorp. I wish I could give a negative star! Meanwhile little does she know the information she "gave" me on how to take the test ended up being wrong, I did it completely different at the cranberry location. Clearly she doesn't know how to do her job lol.

I had been waiting for months for an appointment with Dr. Alexandra Pottock at Northern Medical…read moreAssociates, UPMC, only to have it canceled at the last minute and replaced with an appointment with Melissa Jerpe, PA. That visit was unsatisfactory. She seemed more focused on checking boxes than actually listening to my problem. My experience was very disappointing. My medications were not renewed as expected, and when I followed up a week later through the UPMC app, I received no response at first. After sending another message, only one of my medications was eventually sent to the pharmacy. Even worse, both of my messages later appeared in the UPMC app as clinical visits, which raises serious billing concerns. If you are trying to avoid unnecessary confusion or possible double billing, I would be cautious. I am now changing my primary care provider.
