Scheduling an appointment online was incredibly easy, and when I arrived, the check-in process was quick and efficient. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which helped ease any nerves. Once I provided my reference number, they confirmed all my information before bringing me back for the preemployment urine screen. They walked me through all the steps and securely locked my belonging in the cabinet so everything was handled properly. After the collection, they verified my name and the sample right in front of me to make sure everything was accurate and matched correctly. The whole visit was fast, professional, and well-organized. My results were posted to my employer quickly allowing me to start my new job shortly after. I really appreciated how seamless the entire process was. I definitely one of the most seamless testing experiences I've had. Note: Do to ongoing staffing shortage in the medical field, there isn't always someone available at the front desk for walk-ins. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment and confirming it through your phone; otherwise, they may assume you didn't show up. I had to go in this afternoon to give some blood for some lab work. Made my reservation online via the Quest web site earlier in the day - I selected the 1:00 pm time slot and arrived 15 minutes early per the instructions. No one was sitting at the check in window when I arrived - so I followed the instructions on the sign, signed in and took a seat. Finally, about 1:16 pm, someone showed up and called my name. Turns out for some reason the web site did not transmit my appointment to the office. I handed my form and insurance card to the technician - who was very friendly, helpful and professional. She got me all set up, took my blood samples and had me out of there in 5 minutes. No customer service !! Negative 3 stars This is the third time i have used this location for blood work. The first two times i actually got blood drawn and the technician work was mediocre at best with the customer service skills non existent. This was the straw the broke my Yelp back. This last time my doctor inadvertently sent my order to the Gainesville location because he does a lot of business with them but i use the local hospital because they are faster and more efficient with their process. In an attempt to just facilitate my needs i decided to see if they had my order and get the test done since i fasted for the test. i tried to call first to verify if they had a copy of the blood order to save me the drive out there but you can only get the computer and it doesn't have customer service skills either. Anyway, I walked into quest diagnostic at 8:10 and up to the window just as i approached the receptionist walked to the back. I stood there for 10 minutes before I called out and they said they would right there. I could hear them in the back talking and giggling as i continued waiting another 12 minutes and finally scratched my name off the list and walked out. After reading the reviews, I was concerned about this particular location. It was closest to me and I was fasting so I said a prayer and took a chance. I didn't have an appointment. I checked in and was taken back within 5-7 minutes. I went around 1pm. Ms. Sharon was absolutely wonderful. She was thorough, kind, careful and patient. Had 1015appt on day we got snow and ice. Arrived at 10:30 and told they closed at 1030. It took more time than expected to prep car, slow down due to icy driving etc due to road conditions. It sure would be nice if they can be just a little accommodating. It sure would be nice if they made it clear its a hard cutoff at 1030 in the multi text messages they sent before the appt. This particular lab has dropped the ball too many times. I have a standing order for bi-weekly blood labs for the duration of my chemo therapy treatments. Collecting the sample is not the issue...The issue is that this lab has failed to send the results to the hospital, as they have been directed to do, forcing the hospital to call Quest Diagnostics the day of treatment to get the results. Most recently, the hospital had to wait on hold 20 minutes. Unacceptable. I have cancelled all my upcoming appointments and have found a different lab. read more

We (the dr office and myself) spent 3 days on the phone trying to get the correct results sent which never happened. Giving this place a 1 Star and that's only because I can't give them less. I had a terrible patient experience. I've been here before and had no issues, this time was a drastic change. They required me to have a credit card on file for the blood to be drawn and refused to service me without it. This is my 5th time getting blood drawn with quest within the last two months and they have never required this. I did not have my HSA card with me because it has never been the process. Then I asked to speak to a manager and the manager said that it had always been their policy, but sometimes the staff just doesn't do their job or the computer won't prompt them. I asked her if that was acceptable and she told me you just have to do what you have to do. I told her that this was a negative patient experience and as someone who manages a team I find this unacceptable. She said that most patients don't care, but since I'm a manager than I know what the correct process should me. I was astonished at the low standards she has for her employees. I can't fathom that such a large organization would be satisfied with their computer only "sometimes" prompting employees to do their job correctly. I contacted customer service several times about this before posting. They couldn't find the test I was referring to and told me if it was requested by an employer I wouldn't get it from them anyway. I even tried creating an account online to get my test result. I got some from years ago that I didn't even know Quest handled. But not this one. Long story short the prospective employer requested another "9 panel" drug test from Labcorp in Manassas. I hated to drive over there. But did. Took the test. Got the results the next day. Had the worst customer experience of my entire life at this location. I came on Monday and was greeted by a woman named Jennifer. I did not have my insurance with me at the time and asked if I would be able to provide it via phone since it was in my mother possession in which she replied that they cannot take insurance over the phone. I thought that was strange considering I have previously to all my primary doctors but found it even stranger that she had a nasty and cynical attitude and demeanor towards me. The next day I came back with my insurance card, as a PDF file document provided to me by my insurance as a sufficient replacement of the physical card. This time I presented my insurance to a smaller framed woman, either Hispanic or Asian with blond highlights, in which she IMMEDIATELY refused to even look at the document claiming that they need the physical insurance card so they can "make sure they put the accurate information in." I asked if there was any way for me to email or fax this document to them in which she rudely replied that I can fax it. She stated that her other coworker asked me to bring the insurance in already which indicated to me there was a conversation about me prior to me even showing up the second time which would explain her short, rude, unprofessional, and vile tone towards me. I faxed the information in upon her request and she brings me back in and again rudely states "I can't even read this!" I told her that I've been able to provide insurance via phone, had doctors reach out to my insurance on my behalf, shown screenshots, as long as the insurance information is accurate in which she replied and I quote "well you can go somewhere else. We have to have the physical card here" I then told her that she was being extremely unprofessional and rude towards me, she throws her hands up and rushes out the room, grabs Jennifer and brings her in for them both to attempt to reiterate that they need the physical insurance card in a nasty and aggressive tone. Jennifer's claims that ALL medical facilities need the physical insurance card, but this is the first and only place I've ever been too that I've been given such a hard time, where my electronic PDF file document of the front and back of the card did not suffice. I finally had my Mom leave work to bring the physical insurance card and we were assisted by a very professional and helpful woman. In the midst of my Mom asking for these women's information to file a complaint for their unprofessional and awful problem resolution skills Jennifer screams from another room "DONT give them my last name!" What makes things worse is upon presenting the physical insurance card they did NOT even scan in it! They manually put the information in the same way that they could've manually put it in usually the PDF file document that was provided to me by my insurance. This makes it clear that these two women either did not believe I had real insurance, or were just looking to give me a difficult time believing that they can get away with doing and saying whatever they'd like to a paying customer. First off, the staff and the treatment at the lab was excellent. Easy to schedule, 45 second wait after signing in, the the Quest Diagnostics IT system forced what would have been a 5 star experience into a nightmare. Mr Doctor from out of state sent Quest his request for two blood panels and a urine test. The technician could see the order with my name and the my Physician, but could not access the request. I had it up on my iPad as a pdf and asked how to email or text it to your system, but to no avail. They needed a hard copy or fax (in 2021). I had to go to two places to print a hard file and bring back the 3 page order. I signed back in and waited for another 45 seconds and was called back. Then the blood draw and urine sample went easily, with a very competent tech who stuck my admittedly hard to find veins quickly and without pain. You know, I was skeptical to go here when I read the reviews on Yelp!. I didn't want to have to wait forever. But, I had a great experience. I made an appointment and went there, then realized I forgot my form from my doctor. Deb, the nice phlebotomist there, said I could come back and didn't need an appointment. When I came back, Deb also told me that I was supposed to have fasted for the blood draw. She was very nice about it even when I became angry at the Dr.'s office for not telling me what I needed to do for the test. So, I came back this morning without an appointment. I had a 5 minute wait and Deb took my blood. She was great! I'm saying this because I HATE needles. She was quick and I didn't feel a thing! Hoorah! Service at this particular location is good and the staff is courteous and professional. The problem is Quest Diagnostics at the corporate level. Three weeks have passed and my wife is still waiting for the results to be posted in her "My Quest Portal" . The doctor received the lab results and already discussed them with my wife but Quest has not posted them yet. Service was done on 11/06 and it is now 12/01 and no results. Reading some of the other reviews, I was skeptical of going in here. My fears were unfounded. I arrived at 9am on a Friday and didn't have an appointment. I was taken back in about 10 minutes. I told Jenni that my veins like to roll, she laughed. I have left other places sore and bruised after having blood drawn. Jenni had NO difficulty whatsoever! Her first stick got the vein. I had blood drawn here two weeks ago. I had been here before, as my doctor's office is right across the lobby of the building, and had no problems in the past. I made an online appointment and was in and out quickly on a Saturday morning. Phlebotomist was pleasant and actual blood draw went fine. Two weeks pass and I'm still waiting for results from my doctor's office so I can start a prescription. When I called them to ask why I hadn't heard from them, they told me they'd never received the lab results from Quest. Here's where the frustration began. My doctor's office tried to call the Quest lab all day yesterday, no one ever answered. They suggested I try calling and if that didn't work stopping by. I tried to call several times and the mailbox was full so it wouldn't let me leave a message or be on hold. So I put my two young kids in the car and drove all the way to Quest in Gainesville, only to be told by the woman at the desk that they don't know anything about my results, I have to call the lab number. My favorite part (not) was when I asked why they didn't answer the phone and she said they are too busy to answer the phones. I tried calling the number she gave me and could not get to a person, so I went to the website they directed met to, signed up for an online account, and then still couldn't get any information. It was like, "Don't see your results? Contact your doctor's office." No, the doctor is the one who needs the results. I'm so irate that I've spent all this time on this. Where is my blood? Where are my results? Do I have to get blood drawn again? If so I will NOT go to Quest. It's a good thing I'm not seriously ill or anything. The two stars are for the positive past experiences and the ease of the blood draw. Remember Seinfeld at the rental car counter? Worst service ever. I would not recommend this place. Reading some of the reviews I thought maybe the staff would assist. I took my 7 year old daughter for her 8am appointment. We left the paper work at home and due to ice on the road and several accidents, we couldn't make it back to get her paper work. When we arrived I tried to speak with the receptionist who didn't even bother looking in my direction. After about 2 minutes of standing there, I went to sit down thinking she would call us since it was 7:58am and her appointment was at 8am. 8:10am, still nothing and I finally back and again she ignored me. I then tapped on the window and started talking, explaining the situation. She said she couldn't do anything and would not be able to see us. I told her that it was their paperwork and their form and that I had an email if it that I could send her. She still said no. I asked if I could try to go home again and come back and she picked up a piece of paper and said they were full for the day and that I would have to set another appointment. I left and went to my doctors since I also had an appointment and commented what happened. They told me to walk down the hall to Heathcote and they might be able to take her blood. The staff there took quests paperwork and said it wouldn't be a problem. We were in an out in 15 minutes and my daughter was happy.
