Doctor ordered lab work for my daughter, and this location was available at 7 am! Early, but necessary to get it out of the way. The facility is clean, with chairs spaced apart, and established social distancing in place. Check-ins are easy; simply scan your printed appointment form at the front kiosk, and you are set! Yikes! This Location has a 2 star rating overall. A lot of other previous reviews complain about making an appointment. Honestly, I don't think it's that hard to call or make the appointment ahead of time?? I don't think that's a lot to ask for. It seems easier, especially during Covid times. Anyway...My experience wasn't that bad a few weeks ago. My son needed some blood work done for his doctor so I brought him here. Overall, the staff was pretty nice. The lady in the front could've been just a little bit friendlier but she wasn't terrible by any means. The place wasn't crowded, especially for a Saturday morning. I think what helps with this situation is that the staff prefers that each patron visiting makes an appointment beforehand. I heard the lady in the front ask a couple of people to come back when they made an appt. I saw a couple come back after making an appointment on their phone. The lady who helped my son out was nice to us. A real plus is that she was really gentle with the needle. That's alway appreciated! My son's doctor gave us the results around one week later. Luckily, everything came back great for him. Overall, I was pleased with this specific Quest Diagnostics. Super quick! I made the appointment the day before for 9:10am for an employment drug test. I arrived at 9am and it was a full waiting room but the wait was not long. I checked in with the iPad kiosk which was super easy to use. They called me back about 9:10 and the techs were super friendly. The last time I went to this Quest, there was a line for walk ins during the last hour and the staff could not guarantee everyone would be seen. But at least they allowed walk ins to get in line. I guess someone did not like working past closing time to clean up so they decided to not take walk ins the last hour anymore. Quest, instead of saying you're open until 12 noon on Saturdays, maybe just say you're open until 11am? Also, they say they won't accept any walk ins starting December 2021. When suggesting they put up a sign, a staff member scoffed at the idea and said she could not do that. Not sure why not, perhaps corporate office of Quest doesn't approve of these changes. But if it was a corporate decision I hope they change it. In El Paso no labs are open after 12 on Saturdays, not even the outpatient hospital. They are also closed on Sundays. We need better services. Even Quest in Juarez is open until 3pm on Saturdays. Do you think labs are closed this much during the weekends in other major cities? read more

Absolutely the worst lab in El Paso. Noone answers the phone to tell you have to have an appointment to drop off a sample. Nor is it mentioned on their website.. Noone sitting at the desk to tell you that you have to check in as a walk in. Absolutely horrid blonde woman finally calling me back and calling me "my dear". I let her know her attitude sucked and she proceeded to get very snarky and told me they "don't do phones there." And what is she "supposed to do, point out the kiosks that is right in front of people?" Save your time and frustration, go to Labcorp. Much better people working there. No appointment needed to drop off a sample. Minimal wait time (labcorp knows what they are doing and always do it nicely) and they "do phones" there if you have any questions. Too bad there are no 0 stars. This place doesn't deserve the 1 you have to leave. Do not recommend!! read more

I'm usually a procrastinator when doing anything medical related, primarily cause I hate to wait. Knowing I needed to get my labs drawn, I bit the bullet and went in before opening time. There was already a line waiting to get in, I was number fifteen. I almost turned around and went home. I decided to stay. And I'm glad I did, I was in and out of there in twenty minutes. I've waited longer in line at Burger King. I'm very pleased with friendliness and efficiency of the staff, especially that early on a Saturday morning. read more

This quest was given the proper insurance information and did not even charge my insurance and try's to charge me instead. I asked the lady if everything was good for payment and she said yes. Since this quest is so inept at treating patients with the utmost professionalism I will never go to quest again. Also if quest does not fix their messed up actions in 10 days, this clinic and the individual that took my information and "lost it" will be pursued in litigation on my behalf. We went to this location to drop of a sample of the specimen and the staff was very rude. Why hire ladies that are rude and that do not want to do their job. They were even yelling in front of other customers. Now wonder El Paso scores very low when it comes to customer service. Hire people that know what they are doing and hire someone that treats the customer right. read more

This review is based solely on my experience here coming for a drug screen for a job qualification. I unfortunately did not make an appointment, which I highly recommend everyone to do whether it is for a drug screen, blood draw, lab or etc. It will save you time! Although they do take walk ins, making an appointment will benefit you! I wish I would of done this before walking in. For my drug test, prior to arriving, I decided to drink 3 full bottled waters thinking I was going to be attended quickly. I was wrong!! I waited for about 30 minutes ensuring I didn't use the restroom! The clinic was busy. As for the staff, the gentleman who attended me was very friendly. There is no receptionist or individual at the window to check you in. You simply walk in and check in onto their iPads that they have- which I thought was very impersonal. Good luck trying to get ahold of someone. You only talk to them when they come out the door to call your name. Overall, make an appointment before arriving here- will save you time!!
