I went here in February of this year to have some routine blood work done, and was told by the phlebotomist That my Blue Shield in California would cover my routine bloodwork. White blood cell red blood cell and vitamin D. She said the only Blue shield database they had was Florida but that I am covered. Long story short I've received a bill for $900 for routine bloodwork that I didn't really need and was unnecessary. The vitamin D alone was $350. It turns out that Blue Shield according to my policy does not cover out-of-state routine bloodwork, and only emergency room visits. I have pleaded with quest to lower the price down to what it would be under Blue Shield, which would be about $60 but they continuously refuse and have sent my bill to collections. Worst place ever! Got there at 7am when they opened for a 3-hour glucose test. No access to a bathroom without begging someone. Waited almost 2 hours and still had not been waited on, after begging someone to speak with me I was told they close at 11 and wouldn't do the 3 hour test at this point. I wasted my morning and fasted for no reason. I'm 32 weeks pregnant and felt like they didn't care about me as a human. They lady pretty much told me to bad so sad. read more

Went to Quest Deland with Doctor request for blood tests. They said I needed to make an online appointment. Made the appointment as per their direction but it billed my Credit Card $197.00 and NOT my insurance. Deceptive online forms that do not thoroughly explain what the correct choices are when completing the appointment request. After attending appointment 3 weeks later there were no results in the online app. - Just " In Progress" I went to Quest Deland and spoke to staff there. They said they couldnt help and only take samples. They gave me a phone number to call in Tampa and promised they could help. Called the number. After 45 mins on hold the person who answered said it was the wrong dept and offered to out me through to a different dept that could help. I agreed and after 1hour and 15 mins a lady answered the phone and offered to email me the results of my tests. She said that I had ordered the tests personally so they couldn't share them with my doctor. I complained about the Insurance not being used even though I entered it. She offered to put me through to a dept with answers on that. I agreed. The phone went dead 3 minutes later. This company has ZERO interest in customer service once they have your money and treat you like a number. They can care less if you have questions. I will NEVER use Quest diagnostics again and suggest you don't either. read more

This was my best experience ever, as far as blood work. I got right in, they updated my insurance, took blood, and I was out in less than 12 minutes from the time I sat down. My young tech was friendly, personable, and could not have been any more professional. I am 60, and have been to a lot of quest centers, this one is the best. This lab is worthless, do not waste your time with them! They never sent the results of the test to the doctors office, and when the doctors office called about the results, they could not get anyone to answer. They are unprofessional and unreliable. read more

I encourage you to not waste your time here. Been here twice and will not be back for the third. Unprofessional, not communicative to patients needs, and false information. If you are unable to administer certain tests, please let the patient know before they drive 1hr abs a half to the location. Especially if you advertise that you do. Scheduled an appointment, checked in and choose the "wait outside" and get a text to come inside. The waiting area was full and there were no chairs available.I was called inside, still waiting and clearly they were not ready when they called me in. Why have the wait outside option if it really isn't working? Now I have been inside waiting for additional 20 minutes, still no sign of getting in to be tested....why bother with appts and safety protocols? read more

Technicians need to get better at using needles and taking blood from the public! I've had a couple of times going there that my results were my arms bruised up for almost two weeks afterwards. read more

My wife and I have been using this lab for the last several years. It is usually busy but they are are very quick getting patients in and out. We have never had anything but praise for the staff there. They are always friendly, polite and courteous. Thanks for what you do. read more

I have been here 2 or 3 times already and from the beginning I didn't like it but I continue to go because it's closer to home. My most recently experience was during the pandemic, now I understand it's a difficult time for everyone but that's no reason to have poor customer service. During my last visit they had an employee stand outside to do a screening. This time they had a sign on the door that said "Please wait outside! We will be out". After 3 patients left, the third one held the door open for a patient and I. I said the sign says to wait. She replied I waited and no one came outside, someone else let me in. We walked in and as soon as we did an employee said what are you guys doing in here? Did you get screened? We said no we waited and no one came. She said that's what I was coming to do. We went back outside and got "screened" by another employee not her. Every time the needle goes in my arm it hurts obviously but the whole the needle is in my arm it hurts, even afterwards I feel pain. The employee always takes the band off before taking the needle out and that scares me because if she moves she can pop my vein. The quest in Deltona is much better. read more
