I went here in February of this year to have some routine blood work done, and was told by the…read morephlebotomist That my Blue Shield in California would cover my routine bloodwork. White blood cell red blood cell and vitamin D. She said the only Blue shield database they had was Florida but that I am covered. Long story short I've received a bill for $900 for routine bloodwork that I didn't really need and was unnecessary. The vitamin D alone was $350. It turns out that Blue Shield according to my policy does not cover out-of-state routine bloodwork, and only emergency room visits. I have pleaded with quest to lower the price down to what it would be under Blue Shield, which would be about $60 but they continuously refuse and have sent my bill to collections. Although I live in California, I'm considering filing a complaint.

I believe his name was George but should anyone from imaging at DeLand hospital care enough to check I can certainly find the date. When someone is having the kind of medical issues that require these scans the last thing they need is to deal with a rude entitled employee. I do not recommend going here and if you need to stay with Advent I suggest Victoria park.
