Then, in February, my father-in-law also moved into our home for rehab. His needs were complex--he was bedbound on and off, had a feeding tube, and a trach. Mildred immediately stepped up, vetting and hiring highly experienced CNAs and advanced aides to handle his complex medical needs alongside his wife's care.
Over the last four months, both of my in-laws and my mother have had various ER visits and hospitalizations.
