I was so nervous about going because of bad experiences at other locations. I had a digital breast cancer screening done at this location and I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism form the staff. Starting with Kimberly who was at the desk helping me check in. The area is small and not to busy. As soon as I completed a questionnaire on a tablet, I went to the dressing room and changed into a gown which ties closed. The changing room/booth is small with a cloth curtain to pull close. When I was done, I went to a waiting area where they offered water & coffee. I didn't wait long, and the technician called me back. Take you purse with you at this time as there is not a place to secure it. The technician went over the questions with me from the questioner I completed earlier. She explained everything she was doing and why. Very efficient and quickly done. She will ask you to hold you breath for a few seconds for each picture. I was exposed when she had to place the breast on the table, but you still had the gown cover you on the other side for this view. The next 2 photos you must take your arm out as they try and get as much as the armpit as they can in the photo as you are exposed again, but you are still covered on the other side. Then you switch sides and do it again. A total of 4 pictures were taken and maybe 15 minutes at the most for the imaging part. Booth attendant was awesome- friendly- I could tell she was smiling even with a mask on! Sat down for about 10 minutes- got blood drawn and out of there. When I was in line, a man drove around asking to make sure everyone had an appointment and the time. Be sure you book before you come! I used a third party app but you can also call. Once I got to the front of the line, a man asked again what time my appointment was, then directed me to a parking spot. Presently, someone came out to take my insurance, ID, and the. Returned to swab myself and my daughter. Several cars who pulled up after me were looked into first, making my wait longer, but it was only about 45 minutes total, which wasn't bad at all. The best part was I was able to get appointments the evening before hand and same day appointments were an option as well.

When I was finally called in the appropriate room, my information was verified and I was given the urine collection cup. I was then instructed to go inside the bathroom and urinate inside the cup. I was NOT thrilled to see that the bathroom was inside this super small room. Immediately, I felt uncomfortable. So let me make the clear as a female. I'm in a room with no windows with a male employee. The male employee has instructed me to go inside the attached restroom and basically expose myself in order to place a specimen inside a cup. NOT A GREAT SCENARIO! So of course, I tried to just get it done and over with while staying safe. So once in the bathroom, I locked the door. Once I finished filling the cup, the male employee asked if I was okay. As I was unlocking the door, I said yes. Also while I was unlocking the door, he was trying to open the door. Why? No idea! He then proceeded to tell me I'm not supposed to lock the door for safety purposes. EXCUSE ME! LOCKING THE DOOR MADE ME FEEL SAFE SIR! I mean besides the fact that he was clearly unfamiliar with how to operate the computer and had to a female employee to come help him, I'm still annoyed with the fact that nobody saw the problem with this set up. And he didn't use gloves or wash his hands during the entire process! There needs to be an immediate change in the way their doing this process. Have a female handle female clients, use another bathroom for collection, SOMETHING other than continuing what they're doing. And wash your hands!

They are organized.. have their stuff together, are friendly and courteous over the phone and in person - and the ultrasound technician was just a really cool chick. Also, if you have a Beaumont doctor the results are typically in, read & forwarded to their office on the same day - which is great if you are worried about something. The office is located in the Haggerty Medical Plaza building which is right by the Lifetime Fitness on Haggerty at Ford Rd/ 275.. it is close to the Hampton Inn hotel. The imaging center is suite 180 on the ground floor.
