I approach the front desk, the ladies are laughing having a conversation. She stop to direct me to the kiosk to check in. Check in was seem-less and interesting as I had to place my drivers license and insurance card under a light where it scanned both sides. I guess it eliminates people handling your personal cards. I was skeptical about coming here because the reviews weren't great. The waiting area needs to be bigger though as someone is standing up. After 10 mins I was called to give them my paperwork, and wait to be seen. Ok was called back to a room, it was clean and structured for drawing blood. Young lad greeted me said I could sit my belongings in the chair. Meanwhile she got her supplies together, confirmed my date of birth and ask if I had a preference which arm. I said the right was fine. She looked for my vein, asked me to close my fist then wiped my arm and went in with no issues, she did about 5 tubes. I had two sets of bloodwork. I said how long you been doing this cause she looked fairly young. She said a year I said go girl she did good and I didn't feel uncomfortable throughout the process.

The phlebotomists are friendly and skilled once you get out of the waiting area and can interact with them. Long story short, make an appointment on the LabCorp website, save the confirmation text/email, bring paperwork, sign in from your device upon arrival, and be kind. Covid-era related: Hours are limited (as of Fall 2020). They provide plenty of hand sanitizer and alcohol wipes in the waiting area. My first time going they over charged me and had to refund my account. When I asked about it this time they said they charge the full amount and refund the difference that insurance pays.

He's very interested in Crohn's and colitis (you can tell he keeps up with all of the latest research), but he's also very concerned about his patients' quality of life. Despite the general business of the practice, appointments are never rushed, and Dr. Collazzo always takes the time to answer all of my questions. He treats the patient-doctor relationship as a true partnership (he even starts every appointment with a handshake), and is very cognizant of his patients' varied abilities when it comes to understanding medical jargon (he began with very basic explanations, then busted out the big words once he realized I know my way around a medical journal). I wish I could give him extra stars for the fact that he always gets back to me within a few hours if I call the office with a question, his persistence in playing epic games of phone tag, and his willingness to call in a new prescription without forcing me to come in for an unnecessary appointment. Hands down, the best doctor I've ever had - GI or otherwise.
