Extremely unfriendly and unskilled staff. Don't take your children here! We took our toddler here to get blood drawn for an allergy test. Our toddler is in the 97th percentile for height and weight and is a lot to handle, even for both my wife and I. After a fairly long wait past our appointment time, we were called back but were told only one of us could go back with him because there "wasn't enough room to accommodate all of us. They wouldn't tell us anything else and were somewhat stern and rude about it. They just kept saying that they wouldn't allow it. I elected to go since I'm bigger and could probably better handle our son when they poked him with the needle. I got back to the blood draw room, which wasn't really a room, as it was just an alcove off of the hallway, and saw that there would have been plenty of room to accommodate all of us. I was not happy. I told the technician that it looks like there was plenty of room, to which she just looked at me, gave me a fake smile/smirk and rolled her eyes. They then told me to hold my son in my lap and restrain his legs and arms, which I did. My son was fairly calm until they started roughly handling his arm and contorting it into an unnatural position to get a vein to show so they could tap it. After 3 attempts in his right arm with no luck, they moved to his left arm. On the 2nd attempt, they were successful in getting the blood they needed. The technician then gave me a bandaid to put on his arm. I told her that he was going to need more than a bandaid, and would need something for both arms. Again, another eye roll from her, but no response. She just walked away. Another nurse came in and bandaged his arms up. We left vowing never to come back here. read more
