I came with an appointment and checked it in the kiosk and still had to wait 40 mins until they call my name so that part was frustrating but Isabella who did my blood work was awesome she was able to get my vein on the first try since I have small veins and she was helpful. Today is the first time I've been to Quest Diagnostics since they updated the inside of the building. The inside is neat and clean. There are fewer chairs in the waiting area. They enlarged the tv that shows the names and minutes before you are called back. The private rooms are all located behind a locked door then leads to the nurses drawing the blood in separate rooms. The three restrooms are located within the locked area. The nurses are all super nice and professional. They asked which arm you wanted your blood drawn from and checked to insure they had the correct patient before beginning. It was a very simple and efficient procedure and quickly finished and ready to leave. read more

LabCorp is run much more efficiently and professionally. Have used both Quest Diagnostics and LabCorp and hands down, LabCorp WINS! We have been to Quest with a scheduled date and time only to be told when we arrived that our appointment was cancelled, or their machine was broken down. Gee, no one called to tell us, and this has happened 2-3 times. We have been to a few different locations, and encountered rude employees! No, we have tried LabCorp and found that they are professional, kind and caring. No hassle appointments! read more

My god, the Apopka location is disgusting! I had to give an urine sample after my bloodwork and there was no soap or water in the sink or wipes to clean myself. How unsanitary! There should have been a sign on the bathroom door to use a sink outside the toilet area before entering. I didn't notice wipes there either. The poor employees are overworked. They answer questions but act like they don't have time for any pleasantries because they're probably timed on how fast they get everyone in & out. There were 43 people who had checked in before I got there for my appt with only 5 collection areas. Must be a sweatshop to work there. I will never go to this location again even tho it is the closest one to my house. read more

In this world of technology, they can't even find your last order in the system, they are too lazy to take a second to call your doctor to ask them to update the system or send the order. They still fonction like in the 80's where you have to bring in the paper order. The most unprofessional medical center you could imagine! The Florida Health Department needs to inspect this place. I went there for a urine test and found the restroom not maintained. The toilet seat lid was up with a considerable amount of yellow urine left in the toilet. I had to use my hands to put the seat down. obviously, a man preciously used it. I then attempted to wash my hands but the soap dispenser had absolutely no soap left. I opened a cleanser and used that to wipe my hands then sat on toilet seat carefully. After urinating I reached for the toilet paper and can you believe that there was no toilet paper left. There was also used paper crumpled on the back of the toilet seat and back of the wash basin. I was totally disgusted. additionally i waited over 30 minutes past my appointment. I advised the tech of the condition of the restroom and was told they have no one who checks and cleans the restroom between persons. She offered to let me wash my hands at the sink outside the room she worked in. read more

Your staff at the front desk is more interested in talking to each other than helping a senior who was late for his appointment. He was told he would just have to wait as a walk in. That was fine but my question is that even when you show up on time ( which is supposed to be 15 mins before) why must you wait so long to have your blood drawn. The appointment time is Never on time. I am sorry they closed the office at Park Ave, Apopka. That was an office that worked well. If I could go somewhere else I would. This is my go-to spot for blood work. I choose to go here instead of the other Quest locations that are actually closer to my house - it's worth the drive. First, their scheduling system is so easy, and you can check in and wait in your car (which I prefer to do!). With this l location I am always in and out, and a couple times I was even seen early before my scheduled appointment after I checked in - which is amazing versus some of the other labs I have visited! This place is clean and I recommend coming here. Staff are efficient and pleasant, and inside is not crowded... location is good, has ample parking and is near other shops and restaurants. read more

I needed blood work done so I made an appointment online pretty easily. Today I was texted a link to confirm I don't have any Covid symptoms, then a link to use to check in once I arrived. I had my appointment set for 11am. Pulled into the parking lot no later than 10:50am. Checked in using the link while still in my car. Walked into the waiting area and saw my name on the board with a 5 minute wait. Not even 5 minutes passed before I was texted and called by one of the phlebotomists. She was so kind and talked to me to distract me since I hate needles. It was painless and so quick. I wish I caught her name. Was out of there before 11:10am! read more

There is no one at the front desk, they rely completely on unreliable technology. I checked in online and it indicated that I would receive a text message for check-in. I never received it. Then I had to register inside which meant I was no longer an appointment but a walk up.Completely useless system. Why even bother making appointments? I've had a monthly standing appointment with Quest for months. I went to the Apopka, FL location for my appt. Normally I give them my name & phone number & they pull everything up. The office was dark today so I just let them know I was there. They wanted me to use the kiosk, but all my information is already there. I do this every month. I waited & waited. I waited until there was nobody else there. When I asked if someone was free to take my blood, the gal's response was "Oh, my God!" She proceeded to let me sit there until closing time without another word. She still refused to take my blood because I hadn't used the kiosk & called the police to have me arrested for trespassing. I heard her coworkers even say, "She's here, just do it," but she refused me service. She acted like she was the manager or she clearly had her coworkers bullied. This place is absolutely filthy. Walls dirty. Floors have dirt waxed in on every corner and edge. Equipment is held together with scotch tape. This place is awful. Had appt at 11. Words cannot accurately describe how low rent, dirty, and awful this corporate greed facility really is. I wonder if the state of Florida does suprise inspections? Either way. I can't imagine how little they care for the custody and sterility of my bloodwork, given the absolute lack of cleanliness and complete disorganization this entire crap staff. If you like being confused by lack of any help whatsoever, and treated like an asshole just for showing up and waiting over an hour for your appointment, then this is the place for you. If not. I used the website to find a location that did drug testing it gave me the address of this location. No sign in the door said no drug testing. No one to ask any question. I waited from 10:30 am to 2:15pm before I found out I could not be helped at this location. What the hell is wrong with this system!? Don't go to this location. Welcome to our introduction to socialized medicine. It is appalling that in a time of a supposed health crisis the medical industry is the longest lingering in the new standards of prejudice and poor service. Signs on the front door say that the first hour is reserved for high risk patients like the elderly, the immune compromised and pregnant women but as a pregnant woman I was turned away in favor of scheduled appointments. I was instructed by my doctor to walk in as scheduled appointment times were not available in a 10 mile radius for over 5 days and I needed results as soon as possible so I arrived at 6:15 am (15 minutes before opening) only to be yelled at for even entering the building and furthermore for not having an appointment. There are basically no walk-ins allowed anymore because of their 8 person max in the building (aside from staff) and their 5 person per hour limit. How on earth can people who need to be seen rapidly, with a doctor's lab order be seen when Quest refuses to uphold the basic tenants of medical care and take patients as walk-ins? This CoV-19 nonsense has got to stop. Not everyone has it and there are thousands if not millions of people who need lab testing for other matters and are unable to get them done in a reasonable time frame because of the CoV protocols. These restrictions are killing people by literally restricting their ability to get care. On top of the restrictions the staff is rude and entirely uncaring. It is a true tragedy that we are in this position because of something with a 99% survival rate. Quest needs to start doing their job, accepting the risk that has ALWAYS been present in the medical field and treating all patients. read more
