I wished all cheese curds melt when covered in hot gravy sauce, but that wasn't the case here. Cheese curds still in the original form, fries a little soggy and gravy a little salty, but it got the job done and I rather have the mediocre poutine than a Harvey's burger.

We took our order and drove to Couch Park in Orillia. The fries were hot and plentiful. The burger was so, so. The big fail were the drinks. Both the root beer and coke were mainly water with little flavor to either. There was little to no ice in either drink, so ice wasn't the factor diluting them. They reminded me of what you sometimes get at Costco or McDonalds when you serve yourself and see mostly water going into your cup. At least there you can rectify the matter but when you pull away from a drive thru, you're on your own. We got home about an hour later, and I called the restaurant to inform them of our tepid weak drinks with a minimum end goal of ensuring no other drive thru customers ended up with our disappointment.The person who answered could have cared less. No empathy, no apology, no feeling, no anything. They seemed to care less about our disappointment. I was certainly not impressed, so much so that I had to write this review. When I spend more than $33 at a hamburger drive thru, I expect the cold drinks to be cold and tasty and if not that the staff at least show some concern. Henceforth we will be going to the Gravenhurst A&W if we need a Teen Burger. A little further, but well worth the extra drive. We have never been disappointed there. I doubt that we shall ever return to the West Ridge outlet of A&W.
