Best Bites - Cool Down at Spoon It While out shopping with…read moremy grandkids on a typical hot Texas day, one of them asked for frozen yogurt. I told them, "I know just the place!" About a month ago, Spoon It opened its doors at 7515 Hwy 105 near Major Drive, and it's already become a favorite spot for a cool, creamy treat. Calling it "cute" is an understatement--it gives off real tropical vibes! The checkout counter and yogurt machine stations are designed like tiki huts, complete with bamboo and thatched roofs. It's festive, fun, and the perfect escape from the heat. Their variety of frozen yogurt is impressive, with about 12 different flavors to choose from--including two sugar-free options. One granddaughter chose a swirl of pistachio, cheesecake, and yellow cake batter yogurt, and topped it with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and pineapple. The other went with dreamsicle and cheesecake yogurt, finished off with little cheesecake squares for extra indulgence. And oh--did I mention their topping bar? It's vast! If you can think of it, they probably have it. As for me, I had a small serving of sugar-free strawberry yogurt topped with fresh strawberries. Light, refreshing, and absolutely delicious--I'd definitely order it again. With summer temperatures climbing, I encourage you to stop by Spoon It on Hwy 105. The yogurt is top-notch, the customer service is exceptional, and the vibe is just plain fun. Bring your kids or grandkids--they'll love it. Ladies, after your next girlfriend's luncheon, treat yourself to something sweet. Guys, take your date--she'll love it too. And when you go, be sure to tell them you saw it on Best Bites! WELL... let's start with the ice. You can't beat how smooth their ice is! It melts in your mouth and you barely need to chew any piece. Next... the juice. Sometimes you want to ask for extra juice... but fear not, for its plenty! By the time you get to the bottom you use the straw to suck up some of that juicy goodness to get to more of that fabulous ice! Then, the SIZES!!!! I get a small. Why? Its NOT small! Whatever size you order its double the size of the cup, They fill the cup with ice, then stack a second cup on top then juice it up! The flavors. Its crazy how many flavors they have!
