Service was great! They had what I needed when a more upscale liquor store did not. And I love the drive thru concept. I'd come again!

The man in front of me was the owner & they were training a newer kid. Since I got out of the car too look he immediately assumed I was underage. "Make sure you check her ID" he said. Then checked my KY ID & asked for a second form of identification ... I don't just carry a passport or birth certificate around .. I showed him my college ID & he tried to take my actual license. I'm 22. They have a great selection but they were rude. I understand you have to be careful with underage drinkers, as you could lose your license, but attempting to take my state issued ID & claiming it was fake was very irritating. Their prices are a little cheaper than Kroger or other big box stores but honestly I'd pay the 2 extra dollars to not have my license taken... I had to offer to wait for the police to come for them to believe I was over 21 & give my license back.

They don't have cheese. It's a drive thru. You drive thru. And order. Don't get out of the car, that's odd, you slowly roll through. Also it is always nice to tip the person.

From 5 to 1…read more.. Jungle Jim's East has introduced us to countless foods and products that we likely never would have discovered otherwise. For many years, our weekly routine was to stop at Sam's Club for staples, then head straight to Jungle Jim's. We'd grab a beer, leisurely wander the aisles, pick up the rest of our grocery list, and almost always leave with a few unexpected treasures. Unfortunately, over the past several months we've noticed a steady decline in the overall shopping experience. Prices have increased noticeably, the quality and consistency of the produce department no longer seem to be what they once were, and many everyday grocery items have disappeared from the shelves. These aren't obscure products, but rather common items that many shoppers regularly purchase. After asking about the changes, a checkout clerk confirmed that Jungle Jim's is intentionally shifting away from being a traditional grocery store and focusing more heavily on its international market offerings. While we understand and respect that business decision, it no longer aligns with the reason we originally shopped there. What made Jungle Jim's special for us was the combination of unique international products and the ability to complete most of our regular grocery shopping in the same trip. As that balance has changed, we've found ourselves making additional stops elsewhere to find basic items, often at better prices. As a result, we've decided to move most of our grocery shopping back to Kroger. We'll still visit Jungle Jim's occasionally for specialty and international products, but sadly it is no longer our primary grocery destination. We sincerely hope management reconsiders the direction of the store, because we'd love to return to the Jungle Jim's experience that made us loyal customers for so many years.

The Liquor Lover's Wonderland - Party Source, Bellevue, KY…read moreBy Brian You ever walk into a place and think, "Well, I probably don't need a cart..." -- and then five minutes later you're pushing around what looks like a mobile bar? That was me at Party Source in Bellevue, Kentucky--a short hop from Cincinnati and definitely worth the ride. Let me set the scene: Imagine if Walmart and your favorite liquor store had a baby, and that baby grew up to be a well-organized, fully stocked party animal. That's Party Source. If it pours, pops, or parties--they've got it. If you can't find it here, it probably doesn't exist... or it's banned in three states . Mini Bottles, Maximum Curiosity One of my favorite features? The mini bottle section. A whole wall of airplane‑sized bottles so you can test-drive a new liquor without committing to the full bottle (or the full price tag). It's like a liquor buffet--without the hangover. Want to know what jalapeño peanut butter whiskey tastes like? Grab a tiny bottle and find out... preferably not before work. Aisles of Joy and Wonder I strolled through the bourbon aisle like a kid in a candy store with a $20 allowance and zero adult supervision. Then over to the gin and vodka aisles, where my eyes glazed over from the sheer variety. Lavender gin? Pineapple vodka? Was that bottle shaped like a grenade? Yes. Yes, it was. The wine section is equally impressive--ranging from casual sippers to "special celebration" bottles. And the beer zone deserves its own zip code; they carry everything from well-known staples to wild, small-batch brews that taste like a fruit salad with a buzz. On this trip we grabbed: * Jim Beam Pineapple - because why not give summer a Kentucky kick? * Santo's Tequila - smooth, sassy, perfect for margarita missions. * From one of my favorite fruit-forward breweries, Austin Eastciders: Blackberry, Pineapple, and Blood Orange ciders. Refreshing, crisp, and exactly what you want on a hot summer day. More Than Just Booze (Barely) Beyond the bottles, Party Source is a true one-stop party shop. Paper plates with flamingos? Tablecloths in 17 colors? Tiki torches, confetti cannons, and maybe even an Elvis piñata? Probably--but I didn't check. If you're throwing an adult gathering, Party Source has your bar cart and beyond covered. Where to Find It You can visit in person at: The Party Source 95 Riviera Drive, Bellevue, KY 41073 Or check out their full stock of spirits, wines, beer, and party goods on their website: thepartysource.com () Final Thoughts: Stocked Up & Smiling So next time you're on the hunt for something unique in the liquor world--or just need a one-stop solution for your next party--make the trip to Party Source in Bellevue. Your taste buds will thank you, your wallet may whimper a bit, but your gathering? Absolutely epic. Until next time, I'm Brian... reminding you to stock up, sip responsibly, and most importantly-- Take the Trip. Your Next Adventure (and your next drink) is waiting.

From the outside it really looks unassuming and maybe even a little sketchy. Its kind of an odd concept since it technically is a gas station convenience store. But hey, we live in Ohio where there are *drive thru beer* joints. Oh what an age we live in. I ventured inside recently while waiting for a food truck order (they often host these here). Upon entering there is the smell of pretzel, which they are apparently also famous for. I'll have to come back and be the judge of that another time when I didn't already order food. I was instantly greeted by the bartender. I chose to browse around for a bit, and he was great at answering any questions I had. One of the ltd release beers I found was also on tap, so he let me try it first! So they have pre packaged cans, bottles, and 40oz. Most of it is in coolers. They also have a ton of beer on tap that can be consumed there, or taken home in growlers (hence the store name). There is a large bar with seating and various indoor tables. For the nicer weather, there are also outdoor tables. Because the store is next to a dog park they even offer Fido's Freezzys dog ice cream. You will have to ask for it because they keep it behind the counter. I'm not sure how this has changed recently but they do fun Trivia nights among other events. Don't sleep on this unique place if you are a lover of the craft brew!
