Though my children are quite different from each other, JHELC has been able to cater to their individual needs with ease. My daughter had a fantastic summer. The staff at ELC kept her inquisitive mind at work - she was tasked and happy, soaking up their weekly themed programming. They wore her out with playing too, which is not an easy feat. On the other hand, they have treated my son with a more gentle touch, working with him on communication - his greatest obstacle. His language skills have greatly improved since starting at JHELC & I know that's it's not because he's not being heard there - it's because he is. This review may seem a bit biased, but it's only because I have been so happy with my experiences at JHELC. My kids love the staff and I know that the staff genuinely and passionately care for them too. We are welcomed with open arms every day and my children are treated as individuals with unique needs and keys to learning. The staff is open to input and feedback, which is very important. The administration is hands on and always enthusiastically working to elevate the program.

The teachers were warm and attentive and the activities were fun and creative. The owners have always been kind and have supported me as a parent. I strongly recommend JHELC, in fact, I now work there too and feel very fortunate to be part of the staff.

Professors don't follow rules and puts students in danger with the hot oven because the professor leaves the students in class alone while class is in sessions The students have to figure it out on their own as if they don't pay tuition This school is a scam The students can't even get the classes they need to graduate because they prioritize programs first instead of those who actually pay out of pocket They hold students back just to make more money out of them I will be putting up zero star reviews everywhere I can

**If you're considering an aviation program where advisors are supportive, enrollment is fair, and…read moreyou're not made to feel like a second-class student just because you're not a veteran--**then Vaughn College may not be the place for you. I was promised a 24-month path to graduation, but now I'm being forced into a sixth semester for just one class--a class I couldn't register for because priority was given to veterans and HEOP students. This means paying for an entire extra semester for a single course. This isn't just an unfortunate exception--this reflects a pattern of poor management and planning. Vaughn regularly over-enrolls students without ensuring there are enough sections or professors. And instead of offering solutions, they expect you to simply pay more. They don't seem to care about your financial situation as long as you keep paying tuition. In my experience, students are left to figure it out on their own, delayed in their graduation, and financially drained. I strongly urge anyone considering Vaughn to do your research. Talk to current students, ask tough questions, and think twice before committing to a school that takes pride in its image, but leaves students hanging when it counts the most.
