I was there enjoying them with a beer and good conversation. We were taking our time eating and enjoying our drinks; the aguachiles were not the only thing on our table. While we were still eating, someone from the kitchen came out and asked if he could take our plate. We politely said no thank you because we were still working on it. A few minutes later he came back and insisted on taking the plate, saying something along the lines of, "A clean table makes a consumer buy more," but the way it was said came across as rude and made us feel rushed. If the plate had been mostly empty, with just a couple of pieces left, I would have completely understood. But that wasn't the case -- I had only eaten about 2-3 shrimp out of a dozen. I shared how I felt, explaining that I understood clearing finished plates, but we were clearly not done. His response was dismissive and he walked away. The food had potential, and the aguachiles had good flavor, but the service experience left me disappointed. Sometimes giving guests a little time to enjoy their meal, conversation, and drinks makes a bigger difference than having a perfectly cleared table.

We didn't even eat our food and everything went to waste. The agua Fresca was also not your typical natural agua Fresca. They up charge you for a syrup flavored watered down and call that an "agua Fresca". Very disappointing. The place is nice but that's about it. The server was very nice but could barely attend anyone because she's the only server here. We waited a long time to get our tab to pay. Not her fault tho. Anyway, doubt this place will last long term unless they step it up with better quality Hispanic food, service, and real agua frescas.

Management responded publicly, so I followed up hoping they genuinely wanted to address our experience, but I never heard back after that. We did remember really enjoying the micheladas, though, so we decided to come back and give the restaurant another try. We had kept it drinks only the last time and that was fine. Unfortunately, this experience wasn't much better. Our server wasn't necessarily rude, but we definitely didn't feel welcomed. He seemed uninterested in tending to our table, and when you're going out to eat, feeling acknowledged and taken care of is such a basic part of the experience. The biggest disappointment, however, was the food. For the prices they're charging, I expected significantly better quality and flavor. Everything we tried was genuinely lacking in seasoning and flavor, and it was difficult to justify how overpriced the meal felt for what we received. I rarely say this, but the food was so underwhelming that it was hard to understand how dishes could come out of a restaurant kitchen tasting that bland. The micheladas were just okay this time, which is what brought us back in the first place, but unfortunately that isn't enough to make up for the service, food quality, and overall value. We wanted to give this place a fair second chance, especially after management responded to my original review, but this visit only reinforced this.

We love coming here for breakfast, especially on the weekends when they open a little earlier. Their chilaquiles verdes are SO good, the huevos rancheros are amazing, and even the beans are really good. Everything always tastes fresh and filling, and the portions are great. The service has also always been really good. The waitresses are super sweet, and the drinks definitely do not disappoint. They have a really good alcohol-to-mixer ratio, which I appreciate because you're actually getting a real drink and not just a glass full of juice and ice. Their happy hour is great too, and throughout the week they usually have different specials on drinks, appetizers, and food. If you come in the evening, the meatloaf is amazing, and their sandwiches are HUGE. My husband really likes the Redneck Riviera whiskey they recommend, especially in their Old Fashioneds. Their sangrias are also one of my favorites--they come in this huge fishbowl-style glass with berries and sometimes other fruit like watermelon, and they are so good. Overall, this place just hits every time. Good food, strong drinks, great specials, good portions, and really friendly service. Whether we're coming for breakfast, happy hour, or dinner, September's has become one of those spots we keep going back to.

This place you can skip…read more It's a working man's bar that caters to the spanish speakers. I actually like Spanish music so that part was good with me. Been looking for good spanish bar in the area. Dance floor is small, no more then 8ppl. Juke box has a lot of good spanish jamz but it only has spanish. Asked for a whiskey sour. She didn't know what It was in it. Told her how to make it, they dont have sour mix. Asked for a paloma. She didnt know either. Explain, It's a commom spanish drink made up of tequila, squit soda and lime. they dont have Squirt. Settled for a cuba. The bottle ran out mid pour and they had no replacement bottle. Drink was watered down and weak. Cost of drink $10. This was for one drink Tuesday in Fontana. (Crowd size 5 pple, 6 if you count the bartender). Asked for a Johnny and coke. Still had to tell her what's in it. Yes, she really did ask. Again cost $10 per drink. Bottle didn't run out and it was still weak. The bartender girs are good to look at I'll give them that but they working the short skirts way harder then the drinks. Ask for your drinks in spanish it will make things easier. I won't return sadly, I wanted to like this place. I did like the music and the friendly people there really did but There's better places out here in both price point wise and ambience. Add $1 if paying with card.
