There are various reasons why I am giving them 2 but I want to explain everything here…read more Good things: Customer service was good and they approached me fast. The cleaners were friendly and polite and they both had a great personality. Bad things: Unlike what was claimed on their website, they did not really deep clean. They merely did anything with the closets and cabinets. Also, the quality of the cleaning could be better. Moreover, this service is way too overpriced for just a superficial cleaning. Wow. Wow…read more Wow. I friggin' heart this girl. Seriously. She is a cleaning goddess! Cassandra was first introduced to me by a neat-freak colleague who described Cassandra as someone who "loves cleaning." That sounded great to me because I'd describe myself as someone who "hates cleaning/hates nagging her husband to clean." Plus, she met the standards of my neat freak friend, so I *had* to call her. She is the most detail orientated, hard working, and fabulous cleaner. She gets into every nook and cranny, without being told to. Furthermore, she puts everything away that I leave lying around (despite the fact that I try to put things away). There is no better feeling than coming home to an immaculate house after long week. I've sent her to a bunch of my friends, and everyone has been super pleased. She is flexible in where she will go in the city (she comes to me in the Beach, my friend in the west end) and will use the products that you have (eco-friendly in my case). Her prices are very reasonable, she is a hard worker, and a wonderful person all around. I can't say enough about her other than the fact that I am keeping her forever!

I used this Merry Maid branch services a couple of years ago and was so impressed with their…read moreservice. The staff arrived at the house with their tools. They were very professional. They asked what I wanted them to do, and they sure did it well. During this first service I wanted an overall clean of the house, but didn't require them to go into closets or drawers. My house smelled so good and so clean after they were done. Some months later I needed their services again as I was hosting an event, however, they were fully booked as I had called too late. I scrambled and found a "better deal" (read: cheaper). If I could only remember that cleaning service's name, I would write a scathing review. Anyway, the "better deal" result was terrible. Dust bunnies left everywhere, my stuff rearranged even when I told them not to. So I decided after that if I can't use Merry Maid, I won't use another cleaning service again. I might as well keep my money and do the sub-par cleaning myself. I have put my house up for sale recently. I called Merry Maid well in advance to book an appointment after the staging was complete. The staging was taking longer than expected, so I had to keep cancelling and rebooking. Merry Maid was kind enough to accommodate this hassle and they were able to fit me in right away once I told them I was ready. I emailed them on a Sunday, and they got back to me immediately on Monday to inform me that their staff is ready to come in on the Tuesday. I couldn't be around during the cleaning, so I had sent them an extensive list of to-dos. The managers I worked with made sure that the cleaning staff had this on hand. The manager I worked with even came to my house to make sure the staff followed my list. I love it! Since I wasn't around, my mother in law and realtor came by to check on the house, and they were equally impressed. I was so happy when I arrived home. They certainly met my expectations. I checked all the items and I had asked them to do (and not touch). Everything was in order as we had left it. Everything I asked to be clean was cleaned very well. It's too bad I'm moving out of Mississauga. I will certainly miss their top-notch service. I hope I find another cleaning service like them.
