With my first experience, I went to a local dry cleaner by my old apartment and I had to wait a whole week for the service to be done. I also had to pay $13 upfront for said service. Thinking this is what to be expected when one gets dry cleaning, I decided I should get my dress cleaned 2 weeks prior to the wedding. So, my second experience was surprising for me. I walked in on my lunch hour yesterday, said I would like for my dress to be dry cleaned. They asked for my last name and my number and said it'll be ready to be picked up tomorrow after 5:00pm. Sure enough, when I stopped by a few minutes shy from 6:00pm, my dress was ready and perfectly pressed and cleaned. "But how much was the service?" You may be asking yourself. A whopping $5.40.
