A nice selection for lunch on a very hot day: stuffed grape leaves, tabouli (heavy on the parsley), hummus, a mixed plate with rice. All good. I used to eat here all the time 4 years ago and it was fantastic. I moved back in the area and had it for lunch the other day and things have changed; unfortunately not for the better. The taziki sauce was runny with no taste. They barely put any feta cheese on the gyro salad. I'm sure it's not run by the same people. The price has gone up (which I understand) but the quality is down. Sadly I won't be eating there anytime soon. read more

It is hard to find gyro meat roasted on a spit down here. The frozen stuff they sell down here is awful. If I don't see a spit, I usually walk out. I ordered a gyro meal with rice and a side of falafel. The owner was so nice! I usually am a plain gyro gal. Tomato and tzaziki only, but he talked me into tabuli and Egyptian salad on my gyro and it was outstanding! He even took the time to squeeze out the additional liquid. The gyro and falafel were amazing! There were 2 downsides. I only get this way about once a year. We need a Queen Gyro in the Huntsville/Madison, AL area. And his partner made the tzaziki too thin. Instead of asking what I wanted, I was asked how many orders. I said just one, then I was rudely interrupted as I tried to order a gyro, and told I could not get a delivery.
