I received a confirmation/reminder the evening before, clearly confirming that my appointment was at 7:00 AM at the Summerlin location. I live in the Henderson area, but I specifically chose the Summerlin office because my dermatology appointment was scheduled there. Since it is about a 40-minute drive each way from my home, I woke up and got ready before 5:00 AM so that I could leave early and arrive on time. I arrived at the office around 6:30 AM, only to find the doors locked and a sign stating that the office hours were 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. I tried calling the office even though it was not yet open, but the call went to an automated answering system. After waiting a few minutes, I received a last-minute message saying that my appointment needed to be rescheduled because no one was at the office. At that point, I had no choice but to leave. Shortly afterward, I received a call from someone I believe was from the front desk, who apologized for the scheduling mistake and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I appreciate the apology, but I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled. How can a patient be scheduled for a 7:00 AM appointment when the office does not open until 7:30 AM? This was not a minor inconvenience. I spent considerable time getting ready before 5:00 AM, drove approximately 40 minutes each way, and arrived 30 minutes early, only to discover that the office was closed and that my appointment had been scheduled outside of the stated business hours. This was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. I feel that my time was not respected, and the situation was extremely unprofessional. I hope the office takes steps to prevent this kind of scheduling error from happening to other patients in the future.

Each time my skin continued to struggle, the response seemed to be another adjustment to the treatment plan. What particularly frustrated me was being offered microneedling after I had previously booked that same treatment and been told I could not receive it because I still had inflamed acne. That conflicting guidance left me with very little confidence in the recommendations I was receiving. My before-and-after photos are two months apart. The more inflamed photo was taken while I was following their recommended regimen and receiving treatments. My skin has since looked calmer after stopping the products they directed me to use. I cannot say exactly what caused the difference, but this was my experience. I understand that acne treatment takes time and results vary. However, after nearly two years, I expected clearer explanations, consistent guidance, and a meaningful reassessment of a plan that was not giving me the results I sought. Instead, I reached my breaking point feeling frustrated, financially drained, and disappointed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this med spa for acne treatment. I was told a manager would reach out, but they never did. All the girls at the counter are so sweet so it really sucks that I couldn't remain a client. $165 a month for almost 2 years in addition to treatments and products and I have nothing to show for it.
