Service was the best ever (a little trouble communicating, but several of the wait staff worked with us) and the food so different but excellent and a must try is the "costra de la milpa" (cheese crust with fresh corn, bbq beef & crunchy tortilla strips) and/or their "Meat/potato/cheese Empanada"....outstanding !! And let me tell you, it was absolutely worth it! After enjoying resort food and drinks for 5 days, our palettes were graced with an absolutely delicious take on Latin fine dining. From the food to the service, we thoroughly enjoyed each carefully prepared dish that was bursting with flavor and complexity. We indulged in the wine-pairing along with our 7 course meal, and left completely satisfied. Our server was very kind and provided excellent service throughout the night (please forgive my memory -- I forgot his name.) But overall, we are so glad that we tried Tempo and it was worth the extra charge, despite being surrounding by several other all-inclusive restaurants! At times the music was a little loud and I could see this deterring families with young children from sitting outside. They also push the alcohol sale here hard.
