Bobbi Maione is an excellent Nail Technician and Sabrina Burke a really great Hair Stylist. Both of them are absolute professionals and they use great products. Their new location in Spanish Village is lovely and the decor is very tasteful. Thanks to Bobbi, my nails have never looked nicer and they last so well. No more chipped and broken nails for me. She has a great selection of colors and polish types and I just love my visits with Bobbi. She is so very personable. I always make sure that I have at least 2 - 3 future appointment scheduled as she books up quickly. Sabrina is literally the best colorist I have ever had. I especially love the new Living Proof products that she uses - they work really well on my hair. Sabrina listens to her clients and I love the way my hair looks after leaving the salon. The cut she gives me is excellent. Recently Sabrina recommended I have a Brazilian Treatment on my hair and I can't believe how great my hair looks now. I've lived in AZ for just over 1.5 years now. After having made the rounds to a variety of salons, from high-end to middle-of-the-road to a few recommended 'pros' each and every time, I walked out feeling unfinished. Why? Because I understand what a true nail professional should know and what she does. A nail pro wants to know what the client wants but surely doesn't seek the clients advice. A nail pro should assess the clients needs, listen to the client, but lead the client into her world rather than the other way around. A nail pro should be attending various nail shows to keep her skills current and fresh. A true nail pro should not shuffle you through the process like cattle to slaughter (to coin a phrase, of course). The nail pro should value you as a client because without clients there is no business. When I give my allegiance to a nail pro it's because she has earned my utmost respect, and I feel respected in return. The aforementioned comments lead me straight to Bobbi. The one and only Bobbi Maione who was recommended to me by my dearest friend who is as painstakingly picky as me , but I digress. I can't imagine anyone other than Bobbi getting ahold of my nails. She is the consummate professional at her craft and takes extreme pride in all she does. She owns and maintains a beautiful salon that is immaculate. Bobbi is an 'on-time' kinda gal who schedules her vast clientele ahead of time. I would suppose you could get lucky and walk in one day for an appointment but don't count on it. Bobbi's clientele (women and men) understand she is in demand so we schedule ahead, oh yes we do. Before moving to Cave Creek I drove an hour each way for my appointments with Bobbi. It is true; you get what you pay for. I just had my first manicure with Bobbi, and to echo what Suzanne said, she is everything one could hope for. I was looking for a nail stylist who can not only talk the talk but walk the walk, so to speak. I left feeling like my once hopeless desire to have long, healthy and pretty nails is not only possible, but virtually assured so long as I am lucky enough to squeeze in an appointment in her already burgeoning book. I found her touch to be uncommonly gentle, and the finished product (hard gel manicure) is flawless. I am lucky that she has opened her shop just minutes away from my house, although were she to relocate, I would follow her anywhere. As one who makes a practice of not writing anything down (lest it come back and bite you). I make an exception in this case to urge you to give her a call and set up an appointment today-right now would probably be a good idea. You will thank me later. read more
