I'm coming up on my two-year anniversary living at Hidden Beaches River Resort and that inspired me…read moreto write a review. I absolutely love it here! A few key things that make this Park stand out: THE STAFF: This on-site team is professional, friendly and quick to resolve any issues. Deya is a gem. She truly cares about the tenants and is always friendly and upbeat. Carlos keeps my grass green and is the first one to help me carry a heavy package if he sees me struggling to pull a package out of the mail center box. And Martin, he is on top of any maintenance issue I request-almost before I finish the sentence. THE FACILITIES: It is so convenient to have an on-site laundry. So much nicer than having to drive into town and deal with people vying for machines. And I was lucky enough to be able to host BINGO which enabled me to meet several of the tenants from all walks of life. They are a great bunch of people - definitely fun Bingo enthusiasts! THE LOCATION: This is the Pie'ce de Resistance! I have such a beautiful view. I am fortunate enough to be on the water. The sunrise/sunsets are incredible! Just having this view keeps me smiling and feeling upbeat. I thoroughly recommend this RV Resort to anyone wanting a beautiful, serene place to live or visit on weekends and holidays. I don't plan on ever leaving.

If you are coming from any part of the US, including Phoenix, the desert metropolis, there will be…read morean adjustment period to Lake Havasu City's dryness. It is extraordinarily dry and lacking in vegetation. There are some unnatural looking palm trees on people's lawns and a few golf courses that are, I can only imagine, laboriously maintained to prevent the grass from drying. The area's dryness is heightened by the fact that the grand Colorado River flows through it. You can see the deep blue waters from most of the city but your feet are generally treading on Mars-like landscape that appears to have never sipped rain. Behind that backdrop of Lake Havasu City and the surrounding area is SARA Park. Someone smart decided to turn a large swath of public land near the city into a recreation dream. The extensive trail system of varying difficulty level is ideally suited for hiking and mountain biking. It was on those trails that I realized that deserts make the best mountain biking trails. There are no trees to remove; instead, the designer can cut the trail along the most fun routes with the best views. Among the many recreational opportunities available at SARA Park, I frequented the archery range as much as the hiking trails. Wednesdays and weekends before noon are open to the public. There's a normal range and a trail that has targets of varying ranges and heights. I regularly saw the same people at the range and they were all very friendly.

This is a great park and hiking spot. Plenty of things to do- children's playground, dog park,…read morebaseball field, hiking trails, racetrack, and event space. Love all the different events hosted here. Definitely a great place to explore and enjoy.
