It was probably one of the best hotel check-ins I have had in years. As for the room, it was clean, well maintained and the beds were really comfortably. The AC had the room cold (really cold), which we like for sleeping but I will say it was a little loud, but not so bad as to keep either of us awake. The bathroom was large and had a nice walk in shower. The water pressure was a little low in the shower but we were on the third (top), floor so that's to be expected. Overall a great stay and we will certainly use this hotel if we are back in the area.

The room was perfect and the 'Twin Bridges' restaurant inside the casino was so delicious. 10 out of 10 on the food. The king room was spacious, so comfy and our stay was wonderful. Slept great, gambled shitty, but had a blast! Best thing about this hotel and casino was the cheap stay for a short drive to Grand, indigo, downstream and Buffalo Run! 5 casinos in 1 weekend, talk about a awesome staycation. This is the spot to stay, bc yes, indigo & downstream were almost 2x the cost vs staying at RiverBend! Stay here, you'll love it, we sure did!

We passed it at first; although right off of Duquesne with a streetside sign, Ocean Adventures is in a very unassuming warehouse-esque metal building. That almost sets you up for more of a pleasant surprise when you walk inside after parking in the gravel lot behind the building (technically the front). When you walk in there are cubbies and coat hooks to deposit your things. The front desk is also right there, so not a lot of concern about things being stolen. Everyone gets a wrist band as you check in, and for the more uncooperative kiddos (one of mine) an ID sticker on their back. I didn't know this when I got there, but tickets are typically purchased in advance online as they only sell 40 tickets per session to keep it enjoyable for everyone--a policy I personally really appreciate, especially with little kids. And the unbelievable part: the tickets are only $5 T-Th and $6 F-Su. (If an adult wants to play with their kiddo, they also need a ticket, but for so little that's not a big deal for us, especially compared to prices at other kids facilities in SWMO/NWA). The facility itself: amazing. Imagine the McDonalds playset from your childhood, but without the dirty sock smell, multiple stories, more slides and a bigger ball pit. It's clean and actually smells GOOD...you can go on their website and watch/read about the cleaning routine. It's pretty impressive and the condition of the facility reflects that. I also noticed the staff making rounds every so often around the play equipment, which I also appreciated. The bulk of the play equipment is made of various nets and ropes/clear plastic windows, so your kids are almost always visible, but it's nice to see that the staff are kind of monitoring to make sure everything is in order. We really loved our visit here, our 2 hours flew by and as the kids get a little older this would be a great place to bring a book and relax at a table while they play...it's one of the few places around that feels safe enough for my comfort and entertaining enough for theirs. Until then, though, I am enjoying my excuse to "have to" play in a giant ball pit.

My niece attended Graystone School of Ballet and liked her instructors. To me that goes a long way,…read moreso I certainly can't give them a bad rating! However, I had the chance to attend 3 different events/recitals given by Graystone and the overall impression that I got was not very good. Two of the events were in a ramsackle church with shoddy production values and lackluster appeal; the third was held in the aging Taylor Auditorium at MSSU and it came off like someone's last minute effort to stage a children's production. The most senior students (in their teens) did not perform at the level I would expect from long term students of dance, although it was assured that they had been taking classes for many years. I think Graystone would be a great experience for kids who aren't seriously pursuing dance, but just want a fun extracurricular activity and self esteem boost. If your child has serious dance aspirations I'd strongly suggest you look elsewhere, even if it is more expensive!
