We picked Villa Eyrie as the destination for our wedding anniversary and our very first trip to…read moreCanada. We based this on good reviews and proximity to some friends.
It is important to say that what made our stay exceptional was the people. All of the staff were kind, good listeners, and greeted us with big smiles. To say they were hospitable is an understatement.
From the moment we walked in, Ebrahim, Grace, and Bea made us feel so welcome. They were enthusiastic, present, intentional, and seemed to sincerely love their job.
In the Alpina Restaurant, we were dignified and respected throughout our experience. Noah, Amy, Kalla, Tanisha, Isabella, Mariah, Rachael, and Lexi made every meal special. They made sure our coffee was never empty. (And it was good coffee!) They gave spot-on recommendations. There was enough variety in the food for every mood and time of day. We always left satisfied with the meal, but eager to return for the next one.
The Tuscan Spa was the icing on the cake. Jordanna, Sasha, and Emma delivered above and beyond. Pedicures, hot stone massage, and facials gave us relaxation, indulgence, and a reset that left us feeling rejuvenated. They were all knowledgeable, responsive to feedback, and made all the stress melt away.
A few other observations: although some older reviews mention a pool, that is a feature that is no longer (as of this 10/2026 review) available. There is a fitness center with free weights, a treadmill, and a stationary bike. In our experience, every corner of every building was spotless--everything was clean and in working order. The same music from the spa was also playing in our room, which was very relaxing; we enjoyed all the peace and quiet in contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city that we are used to.
Although we travelled all the way from New England in the States, we are looking ahead to the next time we can make the long trip to Villa Eyrie. HIGHLY recommend.
