She watered my plant a little bit before handing it to me and told me how to take care of it. I also asked her about other plants and she took her time to tell me about them even though she was busy with paperwork. I just found the security guy a tad bit irritating as the shop was small and there are plants everywhere, so there wasn't a lot of space to move around. He was there every time I turn around. He kind of deterred me from browsing the plants for the future because I felt that I was watched and there's the whole social distancing and crowdedness/small space etc etc. Great plants!

This experience felt misleading, and I wouldn't come back or recommend it to others. RUN. UPDATE: In response to the manager's private comment--some issues can't be resolved behind the scenes. When customers pick up flowers they've paid for and pre-ordered days in advance, they reasonably expect them to be fresh and presentable. Receiving withered blooms and leaves damaged by insects on an important occasion is unacceptable. Not everyone has the time to wait for a fix, especially on the day the flowers are needed. This review is public and remain on the top so future customers can be aware of real experiences and make informed decisions, rather than risk running into the same situation. Paying $300 for a premium bouquet but receiving a lower quality bouquet was unfair and deceptive. First, the bouquet looked NOTHING like it was displayed on the website. The photo showed a fuller bouquet with twice the number of flowers. What we received was a dozen roses with carnations and lilacs - something that normally costs $125, but we were charged $300. We felt taken advantage as customers, especially on my birthday. Secondly, Simon initially lied saying my boyfriend's order was the lower cost basic version, but that was a outright lie. The order invoice was clearly the premium style priced at $300. On top of that, because my birthday was Feb 20th, after Valentines day, the flowers were already starting to wilt when they arrived, leading me to believe I was given leftover Valentines flowers. Fourth, just please be wary that the box of chocolates charged at $20, is just a small box of $5 ferrero rocher and again doesn't look like what was displayed online. Lastly, the customer service was not great. Simon told us to send the flowers back to get a partial refund and would charge us a $20 return fee. It was completely unreasonable given the situation. The whole handling of the situation was incredibly unprofessional. We only received the full refund for the flowers when I insisted in coming to his shop in person to talk. He emailed us back saying that he would close the shop 2 hours early because he wanted to avoid meeting with us. Btw the return receipt was timestamped to indicate he didn't at all close his shop early. Again, an incredibly disappointing experience and I implore you to go to another local, honest small business for better customer service.
